Orogun01 Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Ahh, Shut it! 1 I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"* *If you can't tell, it's you.

LadyCrimson Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Those fireworks block parties we had as a kid, some of them pretty impressive, sitting in the driveways warming our hands over spent firework cones while waiting for the next round to be set up...good ol' days. Party poppers just aren't the same. At least they still have the big city shows, most years. 1 “Things are as they are. Hurlshort Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 It's going to be 100 degrees outside (like 38 degrees for you metric folks) so I'm not super excited to go out to our town's parade today. But my wife is, oddly this is one of her favorite holidays.

Walsingham Posted July 4, 2013 Author Posted July 4, 2013 (edited) We should have a day where we have to be each other as alts. Nonek Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Happy birthday cousins. Quite an experience to live in misery isn't it? That's what it is to be married with children.I've seen things you people can't even imagine. Pearly Kings glittering on the Elephant and Castle, Morris Men dancing 'til the last light of midsummer. I watched Druid fires burning in the ruins of Stonehenge, and Yorkshiremen gurning for prizes. All these things will be lost in time, like alopecia on a skinhead. Time for tiffin. Tea for the teapot!
Odglok Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Yay America! July 4th is usually a family holiday for me, but this year some of them went on vacation, so the rest of us are just enjoying the free day off work. I'm celebrating with beer and pizza for breakfast. Since it's raining where I live, I'm staying indoors, which prompts me to post my personal Top 4 July 4 Movies! Independence Day (1996) - starring Will (the actor formerly known as Fresh Prince) Smith, also starring that guy from Jurassic Park - a modernized retelling of the American Revolutionary War Braveheart (1995) - starring & directed by Australian-American actor Mel Brooks, also starring one guy from Sons of Anarchy - FREEEDOOOOMMMMMMM!!!! Rambo: First Blood (1982) - starring Sylvester Stallone - I have not personally seen this one, but I understand it to be the story of a former boxer turned psychopath who fights corruption, repression, and possibly terrorists in small town America The Godfather (1972) - starring Al Pacino, directed by Martin Scorsese - America's answer to Pride and Prejudice, this is perhaps the most iconic allegory of the American Dream, also the prequel to Goodfellas May the rest of the world have a blessed day, and thank you for sharing it (the world) with us! 1
ManifestedISO Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Woot! At least the heat wave is gone, mostly. I didn't know this until he told me, but my history professor once said the U.S. was actually born when the first version of the Constitution was ratified, not on the day the colonies told the king to get stuffed. All Stop. On Screen.
ShadySands Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Now I'm trying to imagine Braveheart with Mel Brooks... I think I would like to see that movie. I'm cleaning up and getting ready to start cooking/grilling Free games updated 3/4/21
