Dragon Age: Inquisition

Recommended Posts

A stronghold on a remote mountain peak with no nearby farmland? Well I hope it either guards a valuable trade route or there are productive mines nearby. Otherwise you're not getting much income.

A big part of the player experience this time around will be the option to grow a vegetable garden, found in the "Agriculture" skill tree after reaching a certain level.

As long as my man-servant Baldric can grow a turnip that looks just like a thingie, it will be a realm...

Dragon Age need more swamps :(

...

Edit: Didn't those Grey Knights have some remote HQ somewhere in some mountains?

Grey Wardens.  Anderfels, or something.  Weisskaupt Fortress.

I probably butchered the spelling of 70% of the above.

"Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque

"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)

For what it's worth, your spelling of 'Warden' was better than mine :p

Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra

Awfully precarious bridge to the castle, there. If those big dragon things drop out of the sky, like in the trailer, I fear it will be impossible to reach the mutton and ale waiting in the grand hall beyond, to say nothing of the ravenous harem. Bring on the Inquisition!!

All Stop. On Screen.

I refuse to get excited by concept art.

I like concept art for its own sake but I don't get hyped about it.

However, I do like the continuing suggestions that the PC will get their own castle or base.

Now the only thing that remains to be seen is whether it will be day 1 DLC with a guy hawking it at the party camp, like in those good old days of DAO when Bioware was still good.

Hopefully there will be some famous online Pizza stand inside the castle as well, so we do not have to Alt-Tab, when we get hungry and want to order some food!!!

Awesome! Just don't do it US only. Would be waste of resources IMO, and will make lot of bad user reviews on metacritic for sure!!!

I already suggested that we make the castle require an always online connection with streaming ad revenue.  WIth the ads, we can give it to you free!

That's brilliant. You could implement an option that allows people to pay to get rid of the ads. You could make it known via a character like Noober. I'm sure all these old-school grognards would appreciate the reference.*

*Who am I kidding? Real old-school means playing Pool of Radiance when it first came out. ****ing noobs.

I was thinking we should do something unique and exclusive for each country.  Naturally Canada gets all the stuff cheapest!

Isn't that what various Google services are for?

Running into dark spawn? See the little ad for skin conditioner. Armour and weapon needs upgrading? See the little ad for your local hardware/tool store... etc.

Sad thing is, even if DA3 doesn't do it, somebody will eventually.

Pool of Radiance? A game for parvenus and the nouveau rpgiche. Akalabeth is where the old school action is at. I was so committed to establishing my rpg cred that I played it in the womb*.

(also, glad to see a certain someone has got rid of his steamprofile, I may have had an irony mediated infarction staring at the DAO badge that was prominently displayed there)

*Well, I played the original Wizardry through to completion when I was like 5, at least.

It better have a Nissan Leaf charging station inside, and of course the car itself to ride into battle.
