Malcador Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 1 Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra

Woldan Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Nice! Though I still prefer the OST of UT99 over UT2k4 and UT3's. Is it nostalgia? I don't know, I just love it. I've slaughtered like hundreds of thousand of enemies to this track in DM-Pressure: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9-ma9C74u4 I gazed at the dead, and for one dark moment I saw a banquet.
Raithe Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 I'm having a hankering for some Arabian Nights again.. but I settled for listening to some Sheherejazz.. http://youtu.be/dX3S3Qp_mnM "Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum."

Gorth Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 A bit of nostalgia from a time where the 80'es were the real 80'es and not forgotten pages in history books (ELO - Don't bring me down) http://youtu.be/QFZGXvGGcfw “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice.” - Albert Einstein
babaganoosh13 Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 For whatever reason, there have been a bunch of Praying Mantises around our machines at work lately. I've never seen them in there before this week. I found out that sound in New Vegas is kind of accurate when I walked on one of them. A few minutes later when I was helping someone with a loader problem, one came wizzing by my head, and landed in a box of parts. Then I noticed a brown one hanging upside down on one of my screens. It eventually went down from there and hung out on the door of my machine. It was there for over 2 hours. I had it. Something's gotta give. 1 You see, ever since the whole Doritos Locos Tacos thing, Taco Bell thinks they can do whatever they want.

Bartimaeus Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 (edited) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aCeY8i3Fto snip Edited September 14, 2013 by Bartimaeus 1 Quote Against stupidity we have no defense. Neither protests nor force can touch it. Reasoning is of no use. Facts that contradict personal prejudices can simply be disbelieved - indeed, the fool can counter by criticizing them, and if they are undeniable, they can just be pushed aside as trivial exceptions. So the fool, as distinct from the scoundrel, is completely self-satisfied. In fact, they can easily become dangerous, as it does not take much to make them aggressive. For that reason, greater caution is called for than with a malicious one. Never again will we try to persuade the stupid person with reasons, for it is senseless and dangerous.
