pmp10
Creative Assembly to make warhammer games Was bound to happen eventually as they run out of popular history to milk. yay.... or something? Endless string of yet another RTS games? Some day, somebody is going to make strategy and crpg games instead of third rate action games out of those franchises. Probably be similar to the Total War titles. I wouldn't bet on it. All previous warhammer fantasy battle games were on consoles and featured story-driven campaign not a strategic one. Drowsy Emperor
Relic didn't do a bad job with 40K, at least Dawn of War 2 was great, even if Dawn of War ... are mediocre at best. No. Dawn of War is one of the best RTS's ever made. DoW 2 is a hybrid title no one really liked. Tale
I wouldn't bet on it.All previous warhammer fantasy battle games were on consoles and featured story-driven campaign not a strategic one. Mark of Chaos was on consoles, yes. But it wasn't particularly story-driven. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater." Malcador
No. Dawn of War is one of the best RTS's ever made. DoW 2 is a hybrid title no one really liked. No one really liked ? Come now. They're both fun games I found, although DOW 2 probably went too far with the squads - giving a squad of 9 and a sergeant would have been better, for example. Mark of Chaos was on consoles, yes. But it wasn't particularly story-driven. It's not just Mark of Chaos but also Dark Omen and Shadow of the Horned Rat. All on consoles with campaigns consisting of battles and occasional choices. I doubt there will be any city building or tax collecting involved. Creative Assembly to make warhammer games For a minute I thought it meant 40k, and was disappointed that meant no more THQ 40k games. Then realized that it's just the fantasy Warhammer and didn't care. Edited December 7, 2012 by Bos_hybrid

alanschu
Well, I wouldn't have given you any points for originality if you did Note that this was Dragon Age: Origins timeframe too I did have to laugh because it was my first day and I was mostly kind starstruck and she's apologizing because I wasn't going to be on some project I didn't even know existed 3 days earlier and was put onto DA instead XD

Nice of them to not just terminate you and your position because of that. Happened to some classmates, heh. Edited December 7, 2012 by Malcador Why has elegance found so little following? Yeah, it sucks more when you accept a job specifically because a project looks exciting and promising, and you sign the contract and then they shelve the project. Been there, you ended up on DA so nothing too much to worry about. I actually ended up quitting that job, I didn't sign on for the project I ended up on and I didn't think much of it in all honesty. It isn't the nicest position to find yourself in, sometimes you have to walk away. 1 I came up with Crate 3.0 technology. Crate 4.0 - we shall just have to wait and see.Down and out on the Solomani RimNow the Spinward Marches don't look so GRIM!
