Indeed. Very much looking forward to it. I heard he was interested in tackling Dr Strange for Marvel as well. Would love to see that, but his Justice League Black one will have to do.

So do they include cable On-Demand in sales figures these days? Would that be lumped into DVD rentals?

I think they have their own category.

I did a second viewing of John Carter and The Dark Knight Rises over the last few days. TKDR still put me to sleep in the first hour, but the second half was somewhat better. And I still like John Carter.

And I finally finished the last two episodes of BSG. The fourth season didn't wow me too much, except for when they found

Earth

. Overall, I was pretty impressed with the series as a whole. Saul Tigh grew on me ever so slowly. Didn't care for him much during season one and two, but by three and four he was just about my favorite character.

I think next up on my que of things to watch is the final season of Fringe, and possibly The Prisoner.

Crazy, Stupid, Love. is a good movie.

Also watched Drive a short while ago. Pretty cool and fancy soundtrack.

I just watched on DVD the movie Snow White and the Huntsman - a very, interesting take on the Snow White story. Speaking of dwarves they are vert different than any dwarves I have any seen. One of them says this: if you start humming, I'll slap you...because one of the others dwarves started singing 'hey, hey to work we go'. Very, very funny :D

I've also just watched Total Recall (the new version). To me, it is even better than the Total Recall movie with Arnold S. as the main character. It seems to take the short story We can remember it for your wholesale by Philip K. **** seriously....

I've also just watched My week with Marilyn which is the best portrayl of Marilyn I've seen yet, both as a person and as an actress.

Yeah. Crazy, Stupid Love was a surprise. I generally don't like these movies because it's just about Dating Culture and that's just boring. Of course, I didn't know Steve Carrell was in it.

I watched the Life of Pi in 3D on Friday.

Amazing movie, highly recommended. The storm scene must be the most realistic scene I have ever seen for a storm. You felt like you were really on the ship.

Ryan Gosling is a pretty cool dude, by the way. I'll have to find some more movies with him.

That's a pretty good idea. I watched some movie with him called Driver recently. It was a bit of a tribute to the 80's, but he was very good in it.

For an interesting twist, saw this :

(Example: Five high school kids meet in detention. -- Breakfast Club)

Watched Dredd, was a well crafted movie.

Remember: Argue the point, not the person. Remain polite and constructive. Friendly forums have friendly debate. There's no shame in being wrong. Or its cowboys and Indians in space with solid shirts and judo…

Saw Madagascar 3 today. I actually thought it was the best of the 3. Though why Monaco's animal control was allowed to operate outside of Monaco I don't know.

Guns, Girls and Gambling

One of those Christian Slater straight to dvd type movies. He looks like he's having fun with it.

A tongue-in-cheek "mistaken identity, everyone thinks I have something and is trying to kill me" action-comedy films with a few twists.

But yes, if you have Native Americans, an Indian Indian (From India), Jeff Fahey as "The Cowboy", Elvis Impersonators - Gay Elvis, Midget Elvis, Asian Elvis, and Elvis Elvis (played by Gary Oldman), corrupt Sherrifs, Powers Boothe as "The Rancher", a Prostitute, a 6' blonde assassin, and a frat boy, all wound up in a story involving a priceless Native American artifact stolen from a Casino on a reservation..

Nothing too stunning or brilliant, but generally amusing and entertaining.

Still holding off to see The Hobbit since I wanna see it with a particular person, but I re-watched the Lord of the Rings extended edition trilogy these last few days.

Basically I'm not too hot on the Two Towers, but really love Fellowship of the Ring and Return of the King. Two Towers just feels messy to me, and with plenty of changes from the books that I have quite the hard time with. It just doesn't strike that chord for me that the other two do. And it's kinda weird since, if I remember correctly, they were all shot at once. But it's still somehow a palpable change for me in the second movie. Ah well.

But yeah, man do I get weepy at the end of RotK. While there is understandably so much cut, it's really wonderful to see how much time Peter Jackson could give scenes like the final farewell at the Grey Harbor and so forth. So many scenes in these movies should be horribly sentimental yet he makes them work most of the time and that is certainly something.

Have you watched Two Towers with director commentary? I know a couple people who were pissed at some of the changes that after hearing Peter Jackson's reasoning for making those changes were much more accepting.
