Lexx Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 I remember how I was hiding behind walls in Hitman 2, shooting everything that walks around. :> "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."
Nepenthe Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 I remember how I was hiding behind walls in Hitman 2, shooting everything that walks around. :> Yeah, I always felt that the second one actually allowed for more playstyles than the others. I'd sneak through some ("as intended") and then just go ballistic in some... usually the first? Sicily mission. You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that? Reapercussions
Malcador Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Ah, the war against the ninjas. 47 sucks with a katana, too. Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra
Raithe Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Oh the memories of when everything went **** up in the whitehouse when playing Blood Money..... "Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum."
Orogun01 Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Oh the memories of when everything went **** up in the whitehouse when playing Blood Money..... Yeah, I got tired of trying to sneak through security and just went ballistic. Planting a bomb next to the car also worked. I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"* *If you can't tell, it's you.

Bos_hybrid Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 http://www.pcgamer.com/review/hitman-absolution-review/3/ So very disappointing.
alanschu Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 This did sound pretty awesome though haahaha But playing other people’s contracts is fun: some are very straightforward, but already people are adding entertaining twists. The last one I played insisted that I run into a town dressed in full samurai armour and kill a particular cop with a sledgehammer. Players will probably come up with sillier contract concepts once the game is out.
Drowsy Emperor Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 http://www.pcgamer.c...ution-review/3/ So very disappointing. I didn't know how badly a Hitman game could be made before I read this. It sounds like even the first game is better than this. И погибе Српски кнез Лазаре,И његова сва изгибе војска, Седамдесет и седам иљада;Све је свето и честито билоИ миломе Богу приступачно.
Bos_hybrid Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 (edited) Spec Ops: The Line is on sale at GMG for $7.50AUD if anyone is interested. Use the 20% off voucher and get it for $6. http://www.pcgamer.c...ution-review/3/ So very disappointing. I didn't know how badly a Hitman game could be made before I read this. It sounds like even the first game is better than this. I'll find out soon enough when it finishes DL. To me it sounds like another example of story and cinematic presentation(never the purpose of Hitman) taking precedence over gameplay. Edited November 19, 2012 by Bos_hybrid 1
Hurlshort Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 http://www.pcgamer.c...ution-review/3/ So very disappointing. Wait, you can't walk around in the levels disguised? That is the best part of the game!
Drowsy Emperor Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 (edited) Interesting collection of texts. http://www.tale-of-t...ales/index.html A real gem is Ueda's "Game Design Methods of Ico" presentation at the end of the page. Lexx Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Mechwarrior online is out http://mwomercs.com/game Since a while already. I am in the beta since founders packs were available and I have to say, I get more and more angry with every patch. They delay everything all the time (which wouldn't be so much a problem) and when the next patch is released, they nearly fixed nothing from the old bugs. Since 2 months already the game performance gets worse and worse and they still didn't fix the memory bug that a lot people are experiencing. I don't want to restart my client after every 3rd game, especially when playing in a real group, etc. It just annoys the hell and fun out of me.
