Morgoth Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 'Project RPG' revealed by City Interactive and former 'Witcher' developer Ah, Deck 13, the adventure experts. They also made Venetica, which is an RPG-lite that I never played. Maybe this time they can come up with something more appealing? Dark Souls/Batman AC akin combat certainly sounds good for starters. Rain makes everything better.

Drowsy Emperor Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I wonder which designer will be the next to crawl out of oblivion to beg for alms. People forget that we also had plenty of bad games back in the day when designers were left to their own devices with little or no corporate oversight. И погибе Српски кнез Лазаре,И његова сва изгибе војска, Седамдесет и седам иљада;Све је свето и честито билоИ миломе Богу приступачно.
Malcador Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Derek Smart, I say. Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra

Better we bury this and just go for the publisher model, eliminate all alternatives. Especially the ones relying on people being generous... I mean yuck. Taking chances? That's disgusting. No, thank god we have exciting projects like Baldurs Gate remakes. Listen to my home-made recordings (some original songs, some not): http://www.youtube.c...low=grid&view=0
Drowsy Emperor Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 (edited) I'm not against Kickstarter I'm just saying that at this point I question the sincerity and passion of some designers. Reappearing after a decade of unremarkable games with tall tales and a bucket load of promises smells suspiciously like taking advantage of our nostalgia. Its like Metallica announcing they're going to make Master of Puppets 2 and they only need my money to make it work. Gfted1 Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Im probably just picking nits here but the Shadowrun kickstart states "for Apple & Android tablets and PCs" but then on the right side of the page under the pledge rewards section it states "A Digital Downloadable copy of the game, DRM free on PC + one totally sweet, exclusive desktop WALLPAPER for your PC, Mac, tablet or mobile device." So is it definately coming to tablet? "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"
