Gorth Posted December 5, 2012 Author Posted December 5, 2012 Since it's December, I guess a bit of Christmas carols wouldn't be completely out of place. Just to set the mood http://youtu.be/ptP0OR-e7rI 1 “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice.” - Albert Einstein
Raithe Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 For the seasonal impact.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YvZn1hgIvo "Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum."
Nepenthe Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that? Reapercussions
samm Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Mmmmh yeah Relaxing, surreal, intense - heard Amplifier being called "stoner" music, wonder why... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIcEn-nj1XM Citizen of a country with a racist, hypocritical majority
Raithe Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Been listening to the soundtrack / complete score of The Cape by Bear McCreary. The whole thing is really well done, quite a sweeping orchestral style connecting it all. And the "Let's Just Pretend" that he devloped for that rather creepy valentine episode is darn haunting. "Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum."
LadyCrimson Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 It's not the Johnny Cash song. I love handbells. Especially for the holidays...they sound so celebratory. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zOGjgVygSg “Things are as they are. Blarghagh Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Anything where such an annoying voice starts singing along cannot be in good conscious called "best" at anything.
HoonDing Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 No the best song is the one from the beginning of Beauty and the Beast. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
Malcador Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Be Prepared from Lion King is the best. Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra

Meshugger Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 (edited) ^I get the mental image of a nordic village in medieval times, it is the summertime and the weather is sligthly colder than usual, but still sunny. There's a river running through the village, and i am sitting on an old stonebridge, watching the stream of water running endlessly. Now time for the best rock performances ever: http://www.youtube....h?v=apIUeIYh6-g Is it possible to fall in love with a voice? Hurlshort Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Princess and the Frog actually has some awesome Disney songs, but that's no surprise since it is set in New Orleans. 1
