Haha, looks like Lilarcor is hard to please :ermm:

Isn't harpers call Jaheira's version of resurrection? I have no idea why Jaheira died though.

She died because Harper's Call does 10 damage to the caster. It's a crappier version of raise dead. Subject comes back to life with 1HP and -5 to all ability scores for 1 minute. I completely missed the 10 damage to caster portion of the spell, so Jaheira cast the spell, brought Aerie back to life and killed herself in the process. I sat there for about a minute trying to figure out just WTF happened. :ermm:

Also, I managed to raise 15,000 gold within 36 hours of leaving Chateau Irenicus, at least 16 hours of which was rest time. Kings fortune indeed. Circus, Slavers and Tanner Murders provided enough loot to put me over the top.

I'm playing it now as well as a Kensai on Hard. Still got a bit of Irenicus dungeon to go through.

My character has some helmet fitting problems..

Also, I realized why this game looks so different to me now than it did a few years back:

This was taken with all settings on low..

TwoWorldsSS06.jpg

..same scene, but now with everything on max. Unrecognisable!

This game scales really well. I actually think the graphics are good, and this game was released in 2007. Ok, it wasn't as old as I remembered, but still.

I can't believe I thought this game was bad before. I mean, it feels like it was universally panned because of bad voice actors. That's really the only major flaw I can find in this game now! I'm loving it at the moment.

The view distance is amazing, and the world builders at Reality Pump (the developers) have great lateral thinking. Mountains really are mountains in this game!

He won't win any beauty pageants, but he's loyal, can take a beating and climbs hills like a mountain goat. This is yet another great thing about Two Worlds: the sheer amount of detail. There are like ten different horses! Most game has like one horse in two colours. Two Worlds has.. more. I love it. Unnecessary, but awesome.

I found my way down to the coast last night. Two Worlds can be quite pretty too.

The shadows and atmosphere in this game are also fantastic. Great use of fog and moonlight (that actually looks like moonlight!).

Hiding behind my new shield next to a peasant's graveyard. I have never played a game with such a variety of weapons, armours and shields. Absolutely mind blowing, the amount of detail they've managed to cram into this game. There must be at least a hundred different armour sets alone! And all sets are complete with separate chest piece, leggings, gloves, shoes and helmet! I managed to get my first full set last night, although you can mix and match all you want..

^It all looks excellent, but how big is the gameworld? And is the setting well-developed? I prefer settings with a rich & detailed lore, like Elder Scrolls... I barely got through Gothic 3.

The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.

Its not. Its generic and bland and nothing special when compared to Oblivion.

Guess where that puts it.
