thepixiesrock Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Buy and X-box and then get Castle Crashers and never have to buy or play another game in your life. Am I right fellas? I mean, am I right? Lou Gutman, P.I.- It's like I'm not even trying anymore!http://theatomicdanger.iforumer.com/index....theatomicdangerOne billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.

Deadly_Nightshade Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 You know, I never realized how much the RRoD looked like HAL until this moment... "Geez. It's like we lost some sort of bet and ended up saddled with a bunch of terrible new posters on this forum." -Hurlshot
mkreku Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 A sort of Far Cry 2 interview where one of the developers try to explain what immersion means to him. Since this is a board where 90% of the people think Baldur's Gate 2 had the best graphics ever, 90% of the people here should probably skip this video. You know who you are. http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/farcry2/...cial-movie?hd=1 I like it and it definitely sounds like my kind of game. Too bad there are (almost) no RPG elements in it. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Deadly_Nightshade Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Guess what, Spore is, from what I hear, out on the internet a full FIVE DAYS before the retail date - it's DRM must not have worked too well after all. Anyways, if you want more information Google for it - as I cannot tell you where to look or how to find the game. "Geez. Aponez Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 1.- Fallout 3 (we'll see if is more than a few of good graphics) 2.- Starcraft II 3.- Neverwinter Nights II: Storm of Zehir PRIUS FLAMMIS COMBUSTA QUAM ARMIS NUMANCIA VICTA
Starwars Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 As for now, my list is like this: -Age of Decadence -NWN2: Storm of Zehir -NWN2: Mysteries of Westgate -NWN2: Purgatorio -Hinterland -Colonization (the remake in the CivIV engine) STALKER, Clear Sky have dropped off the list after reading a few reviews as well as generall impressions on forums. Apart from being buggy (which I can live with), it seems to have gone in a direction which I feel is not the right one for STALKER. Still have hopes that the modders can "fix it" though. Deadly_Nightshade Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 STALKER, Clear Sky have dropped off the list after reading a few reviews as well as generall impressions on forums. Yeah, I'm torn between getting it and cancelling my pre-order at the moment... "Geez. Monte Carlo Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Starwars, is there a release date for Age of Decadence, and is it only available as a download? Cheers MC
Starwars Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 No release date yet. It will be available as a digital download, but you can also order a boxed copy from the devs (it'll be more expensive) and they'll send it to you. Morgoth Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Does actually anyone know what happened to this ex-Troika-Source-Engine-Steam-only-turn-based-Xcom-like-Space-RPG? Know what I mean? Rain makes everything better.
Monte Carlo Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Cheers Starwars. After a thre-year gaming drought I'm suddenly inundated with games I want to play, a pleasant dilemma! MC

Moatilliatta Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 (edited) So is there a planned price for AoD? And have they talked about demos (I'm assuming they'll have one but still)? Edited September 5, 2008 by Moatilliatta
Starwars Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 I think a demo is planned. Digital download will be 25$ and boxed version will be 50$ plus shipping. If you buy the boxed version, you also get the download (so you don't have to wait around for the boxed version to arrive if you wanna play right away). Not sure if there are any awesome goodies planned to be included in the boxed version. Listen to my home-made recordings (some original songs, some not): http://www.youtube.c...low=grid&view=0
Moatilliatta Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Thanks for the info. Have they given any game lenght estimates?
