Fallout 1

Ian is really annoying the hell outta me. He keeps hitting me instead of the stupid radscorpions (i've only just started obviously)

Just got to Junktown, now i'm gonna go scrap out big fat bad guy

I mean the cover art of SS Gold Edition.

What's so ridiculous about it? The left is from the Silent Storm box and the right is a flipped version of the Sentinels box and a gold bar on the bottom. :p

Have you ever seen The Naked Gun? There's a part where two characters are in a firefight, and the take cover less than 5 feet away from each other and start popping out of cover and shooting aimlessly in the other guy's direction. That's what the cover is like.

Which is why you need to get behind him. This way you can do the friendly fire.

Ian is a pain especially if you give him an automatic weapon. One time I hit him and he had the nerve to turn hostile on me. After all of the times he shot me. Stupid AI.

i might just give him a deagle or something, or maybe the .223 when i find one

Cassidy never once hit me with a burst shot, even when I was standing directly between him and his target.

Might've been patched or something, but I doubt it.

Vic, on the other hand, always found a way to hit party members, with or without an automatic weapon.

I'm playing through Halo (via 360) in 2p coop. I played a bit of Halo1/2 before and was a bit underwhelmed, but deemed the game at least worth playing through once to see what all the hype was about, and - more importantly - for the awesomeness that is coop.

Since we died last time and found that you don't reload checkpoints in coop, we had to start over a chapter (the Halo chapter, which is the second one). The game having been just 'okay' so far, we opted to try out Legendary mode (the hardest mode).

It actually made a world of difference. Being completely overwhelmed in terms of numbers and a 'not bad' AI that dodges and tries to flanks and flushes you out of hiding spots with grenades is great fun. Coop + vehicles + melee + competent AI + shield system + Legendary mode + unlimited respawning as long as one of us stays alive (which is harder than it sounds) = fun experience. I dare say I've been enjoying this more than HL2, though it's an unfair fight since the latter lacks the crucial element that is coop.

In any case, I get the hype now :( It's not the deepest experience ever, but it makes for awesomingly fun coop sessions. I'm an Xbot :(

PS. Puzzle Quest is great. Get it if you have a DS or PSP. Either version is fine.

Halo 2 does the co-op even better, since you can't respawn at all on Legendary. The difficulty is really mindshattering at first.

Er, that's not necessarily a good thing. I'll keep my respawning, thanks. Unless checkpoints are more frequent, I guess that's fine too.

But having to constantly seek cover and plan out escape routes, trying out different tactics each time you die. Great stuff.

I'll admit, jumping on the giant robot from the bridge above was bloody epic. I'm hoping the series has more moments like that.

Mythic difficulty is even better - enemies last like 20 times more hits.

There's going to be quite a bit more events like assaulting the Scarab. Hope you don't mind banshees though. :(

I'm playing Enchanted Arms for the 360 right now, and god damn, is it ever a terribly generic JRPG. I'm enjoying it for some inexplicable reason, though.

Jade Empire PC, on the other hand, I can't get into at all. The setting's just falling completely flat for me, which is a shame, since it seems like a really good game in all other respects.

I finally managed to break that elusive 400 km/h barrier in test Drive Unlimited. I had to buy a Koenigsegg and buy the most expensive mod kit for it to be able to set a personal record of 401 km/h.. It is supposed to max out at 426 km/h, but I haven't found a road straight and long enough for me to reach those kind of speeds.

I'm having great fun though! :(

Heh, my opinion couldn't be much different :(

Anyway, while waiting Fallout Collection I installed F2, downloaded kids add-on (they were removed from european version of game) and 1.2 US patch before sending game back. >_<

Playing as some sort of Clint Eastwood/Roland Deschain kind of badass small weapons specialist with brains stolen from Einstein. Currently I'm slaughtering rats in Trapper Town with Sulik. Fun as always :(

He does seem to have a dislike of Brahmin though... :verymad:

I always find that "guard the brahmin from the wolf pack" quest unnecessarily difficult, because my team mates decides to genocide all bovines before the lupines get a chance to do it.

Once the Brahmin go hostile, I end the combat with a few well thrown hand grenades -

Grenade: *Boom!*

Brahmin: *Splat!*

Gorth: *Reload!*
