Gromnir Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 there is a total of 3 in the entire first chapter... the longest chapter of game, the chapter in which you have fewest number of joinable npcs to carry stuff. the magic pouch, the smallest bag in game, cost Gromnir over 800 gps with a boosted appraise skill of 6 (+2 for 14 int, +2 for fox's cunning, +2 for grobnar casting heroism.) the other bags were more than 2x as expensive at a point in game we not have much gold. that is the cold hard fact of bags in chap 1. 10? probably not. possibly by very end of game, but doubtful. 20? no way. Musopticon? Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 (edited) Hahhaa, reality tries to crash and the fail safe goes off to prevent that. The awesomest way to suicide in the D&D-verse. Edited December 5, 2006 by Musopticon? kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Volourn Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 (edited) Jorian > Gromnir Game over. And, 800gp Grom? And about 1600gp for the others? That's rather cheap even in ch1. Weiser_Cain Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Can we get simulated cloth for this next one? Yaw devs, Yaw!!! (
aVENGER Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 It is really stupid to have to continously hold right, navigate a menu and click two buttons to make people stand their ground.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> That can be fixed with one of the interface mods. Try xUI for example.
Spider Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 That one doesn't work in 1.03 (non-beta) though.
Tigranes Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Should be updated soon enough. Let's Play: Icewind Dale Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Icewind Dale II Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Divinity II (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG1 (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG2 (In Progress)
Diamond Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 1.03 (final) is now live. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wow, that is one heck of a patch. Executables, libraries, texture files, fonts, even VO files were updated.
Gromnir Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 btw, there really ain't much random loot in nwn2. gem chests and scroll bookcases and relatively small items dropped by monsters will be random. as far as we can tell, magic bags (which is expensive) gots pretty much 0 chance of being a random drop until you is considerably past 10th level... just as blue diamonds is never random loot in gem chests in chap 1. Diamond Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 I am in the Vale of Merdelain. Is there any way to rest there, or I'm doomed? 3 of my characters are spellcasters.
Azure79 Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 I just patched, and now the game asks for the play disc to be inserted. I have the DVD edition, and it is currently in my DVD Drive. Everything worked fine before. Anyone else having this problem?

I'm just hacking my way through the second orc cave in chapter 1, and up until this point, it would've taken about half of my cash to buy a magic bag. I'll probably do so when I get back to the city, though. I'm finally reaching the limits of what Khelgar can carry. (I didn't make a sell-off run between the 2 orc caves.) Edit: And I only played for an hour or so yesterday, but the patch was working fine (once I turned down the camera scroll speed to a sane level). Edited December 5, 2006 by Enoch
Xard Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 (edited) This 1.03 patch seriously sucks. Camera moves way too fast (gliders in menu doesn't have effect at all!) and there's small amount of lag that didn't exist before I patched the game. I'm in Gem Mines. How can I fix this or uninstall the patch? Edited December 5, 2006 by Xard How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them. - OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)
Dark_Raven Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 This patch looks a bit troubling. Visit the Bioware NWN2 General Forums. Do a search there about rolling back to a previous version. I thought I saw a thread there last night that mentioned how to do it. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Weiser_Cain Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Hmm, I installed a virus scanner and now NWN2 crashes on startup Yaw devs, Yaw!!! (

Berserk Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Shame to hear about all the people having trouble with the new patch. It's only been a good thing for me since it almost doubled the fps for me in graphics heavy areas and made the whole game flow a lot better for me.

Shadowstrider Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 I'd like to romance Elanee in real life... if you get me... because that was so subtle.
