does anyone know what happened with the M4-78 restauration project?

Yes, they gave it up for a number of reasons-mainly because they just were not getting anywhere. There was a thread to explain what went wrong with it here. Am I not good for finding it for you?

these guys are doing a fantastic job. I had a read through the issues in their Mantis system - it's amazing some of the things they're working through.

Dawes ain't too bright. Hitting rock bottom is when you leave 2 tickets on the dash of your car, leave it unlocked hoping someone will steal them & when you come back, there are 4 tickets on your dashboard.

Lately, it seems like they've been tracking down alot of the feature and trivial ones. No matter, it just means that the 0.8 and and 0.9-iterations will be fewer :)

so happy to see the restoration project is still going :) i loved kotor2 but always wished it had been completed, if team gizka finishes this id be forever greatfull to them :( its be a first in history i think fans finishing a game that was released half done :brows:
