Didn't notice it too much, maybe I played on too low a difficulty.  My issue with the combat was just fatigue from the amount

I think I played daring, but I'm not sure how much the higher difficulties would matter at least when I was playing the game (before the patches), except in the beginning. I didn't mind the amount, probably because most encounters I ended with 1-2 turns and each encounter was an opportunity to push the numbers higher. I think it became less fun when the damage went from ridiculous, to one-shoting each stage of the final boss. At some point you think, this is it, it can't get any more broken, but then you try something stupid and it just does... On the flip side there is no replayability in it, but then again that is the case with 99% of games for me.

The biggest annoyance for me was the lack of points to unlock alignment you picked. Still not sure if I misplayed or if there simply weren't enough points.

No, there just weren't enough, at least not in the state the game launched in. With the combat bugs mostly fixed I can't see myself replaying the game. Looking for ways to break the combat more and more was fun. Playing those encounters in the way they were intended?

No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.

I thought Owlcat had said they were *not* working on another WH40K game (as in, it's neither Pathfinder nor WH). So they were faking us?

Regardless, it seems they're now very much a WH40K developer and are done with Pathfinder, which means I'm done with them. 😞

I think they only said they have multiple games in development. That may indicate they have something other than WH40K in the works. Time will tell.

What they said was:

Will there be another WH40K CRPG? Dark Heresy, Black Crusade, Only War?

If we would be making another CRPG in 40k universe, these all definitely sound like they'd have a great potential.

We have a number of reveals planned for this year, where we will tell you guys what to expect next. Stay tuned!

That was pretty much a conformation of Dark Heresy, since for other, similar questions (will you do shadowrun) they clearly said no.

When you get asked will you do A,B,C and you always answer no, and for D you answer "there will be an announcement later this year" that is pretty much a yes.

The **** Marines shall rise once again! 😂

DoW was one of my most beloved games, it's a brilliant RTS and I honestly don't think any game in that genre has managed to out-do it when it comes to having so many different factions with their own truly unique play styles, mechanics and strengths & weaknesses, and managing to keep the game incredibly fun despite all that. I hope this generates enough hype for DoW 4.

I want the cape to deform and fold properly if she's sneaking or riding. I've never actually seen games bother with that.

I think there was one RPG in development which had similar mechanics with armour, but I have no clue how it is called. I’ve seen mention of it on Shadiversity’s channel some time last year.

Huh. Marvel left Capcom behind and is doing Marvel vs Marvel with Guilty Gear folks. Really liking the artstyle. Also 4 vs 4… somehow.

Im really happy with how the new Ciri   model looks, she is attractive and looks more like Ciri in the previous Witcher games

CDPR claims they didnt change the model but that type of denialism  is understandable considering how they want to avoid the woke backlash

So, last year, after the reveals of both Avowed and TOW2, there were online stories confirming that Obsidian had a third unannounced game in development. I'm dying to know what it may be. Anyone care to engage in speculation about what it could be? If you happen to have actual info, that would be even better! 🙂

My guess is it is not a unique IP. With Grounded, Avowed, and TOW, they are pretty set on their own IP's. So I'm guessing they are tackling something in the MIcrosoft library.

Financially an Azeroth open world RPG would make sense.

But as I don't trust the gaming industry, I'd be less surprised with a Tony Hawks 4X "civ killer".
