Albanians started moving in force (200-300 armed personel) in to Serbian populated towns, interested to see what they hope to achieve. There were no "provocations" this time around as an excuse and no news covering it English.

we don't have ez answers, but am convinced is a major problem if they think azdeus is a brain-washed socialist puppet blind to the truth and azdeus dismisses them as embarrassing fools. keep in mind how many o' us laughed at trump stoopid, but he successful won Presidency, engaged in unconstitutional behavior on a weekly basis, came far closer to overturning the results o' an election than many suspect, successful inspired an attack on the US Capitol and managed to escape two impeachments w/o a senate conviction. 

enough democrats nowadays see trump as a genuine threat in spite o' his laughable antics and they will crawl across broken glass to prevent his reelection, but guys like pence and desantis is promoting many o' the same trumpy grievances-- immigrants threaten your livelihood and lgbt/woke liberals threaten your way of life.

keep in mind, with the exception o' herschel walker, republicans swept georgia during the midterms. the people voting for brian kemp is the same people posting in those fox news comments sections. 

am thinking what the fox fans is posting is less significant than why they post and why at fox.

Oh, I agree with you in that there are likely mostly real people there, there is no end to people looking for easy, comfortable and familiar "answers" to things. Remember that we have Swedish Democrats in here which are basically the same kind of people as Drumph, I come across supporters of them all the time on reddits Sweden page. They're embarrassing as ****, but atleast they are saying their **** in Swedish so that barely anyone can understand them. They read newspapers/forums that have the same kind of angle as faux news.

I stopped laughing when Swedish democrats passed the 4% limit in Sweden, and actually got into politics proper. Jimmie Åkesson is far more scary to me than Drumph, not only because I'm not separated by an ocean from him, but because he's practically clean in peoples eyes. He doesn't come with the same outrageous claims as Drumph, and he can form coherent sentances, and he's great at playing the victim. His followers and cronies are embarrassing, but they usually get thrown out or hidden away for later to keep up the clean appearance, that they're "not racist/nazi anymore", and it ****ing works with people. I typically don't dismiss them off hand though, they usually make it clear to me that they dismiss me as a leftist dork before I leave people be, because I agree with you that it's dangerous to dismiss them straight off. We do have real problems here.

And that people in many Swedish comments sections simply don't care, and that they want to become even more like the US. Betsy de Vos? People don't really care though, atleast they can send their kids to a school where there are no icky brown people and they will get good grades in trade for a good rating of the school.

I'd point and laugh but we're way ahead of you as we already had two (technically three) governments where the Nazi Freedom party was a major part of. Luckily, they imploded twice, but they did enough lasting harm in the process, and the courts are still busy with cases that go as far back as the early 00s - but they always seem to bounce back, and their current chairman is a highly dangerous demagogue who helmed the protests against any COVID related action taken by the government, shills ivermectin as suppressed (because cheap!) treatment against COVID and refused any innoculation because they're untested and dangerous.

Not that I buy that he really believes that. He's just telling the riled up masses what they want to hear. Depending on the polling institute, they're currently set to become the strongest, or second strongest party in a general election. Three years after the video of their former leader wanting to sell half the nation to the Russians came out. You bet that none of those dolts voting for them would post comments any better than the ones we can't see.

There's times I wish there really would be a world-spanning conspiracy to forcibly sterilize half the planet. Humanity is a blight on this world.

Oh, I'd welcome it to be honest, we need more ridicule. I don't remember off hand if it was before or after the election, but basically all the political parties in Sweden, except the left party, gave tips on how to anonymously donate money to the parties without leaving traces. Noone really cared.

The bill recognizes LGBT marriage in all states but doesnt mean states have to legalize it and  " it clarified that religious organizations wouldn’t be required to perform same-sex marriages and that the government would not be forced to protect polygamous marriages. "

the search by the "goons" hired by team trump were swell and all, but am thinking it were an attempt to avoid doing what doj is now asking: team trump swearing under oath there is no more classified docs. whatever legal assurances team trump offered following their most recent search, which unexpected revealed additional classified documents, no doubt included enough evasion and qualifiers as to render such meaningless. 

the national archives has for over a year attempted to retrieve missing classified documents from trump. even after the warrant search by the feds and the most recent goon search, it has been reported there remains unaccounted classified documents which were in the possession o' the office o' the President when he left office. 

am thinking it is unlikely team trump acquiesces voluntarily to doj's most recent demand which all but forces an indictment. 

as to sinema, she had all but ended her relationship with the democrats before the midterms as her absence in supporting arizona democrat candidates running in 2022 were called out multiple times. am already tired o' hearing how sinema voted with biden 90% o' the time. bassackwards. biden had to cave to sinema on every major piece o' legislation and no doubt had to make promises to get a few appointees through the senate process. sinema is current loathed by democrats, but if warnock had lost, she woulda' been in a prime position to once again demand concessions for her support o' every Presidential appointee though is hard to imagine much democrat legislation being passed the next couple years. regardless, from a transactional pov, remaining democrat made sense if warnock lost. didn't happen.

sinema does not wanna lose her committee appointments, so am suspecting she remains meek and plays nice with the democrats, right up until a transactional assessment makes it clear that sabotaging democrat efforts is to her advantage. am suspecting nobody in Congress is gonna sudden forget the fact sinema is a freaking pit viper.

have mentioned this previous, but arizona is almost unique in the US as near 1/3 o' arizona voters identify as independent and sinema is up for reelection in 2024. democrat and republican were no longer options for the senator from arizona, so independent is the only remaining alternative.

am able to explain why sinema dumped democrats, particularly following warnock's victory, but am nevertheless surprised by the switch.

When I saw the first big name accused of corruption, I was reminded of how stereotypes tend to be less than true, but that they also come into being because or something substantial, i.e. they are not entirely arbitrary. So the fact that Kaili is Greek is not especially surprising, unfortunately.
