    Let's be honest though, it likely had nothing to do with what fans wanted, but I think they might be afraid to catch the eye of the mighty Newell and get banned from Steam.

     

    It really hurts me to write something positive about Steam... I need a liquid bandaid.

    The Wheel of Time is on the chopping block next.

    They're already shooting S2 of WoT and S3 is pending confirmation. It's not the greatest quality wise but it is a solid top 10 streaming title so is nowhere near Cowboy Beflop.

    They have a worse problem than fan backlash: no momentum among non book readers. The lack of interest is what's gonna kill the show.

    I was sleeping through the first two episodes and haven't watched it anymore since few weeks now. 😄

    I know this isn't the right place for it but...

    As a non book reader the mixed reactions was enough to kill it for me since it looked a bit CWish (in a bad way) from the previews.

    I'm noticing a trend in games aiming for realistic graphics, such as the Matrix Awakens and this:

    They are landing squarely in the uncanny valley, and I find it rather unsettling. I generally prefer stylized over realistic graphics anyway, but I'm going to be flat out avoiding realistic looking games until we get out of the uncanny valley.
