I could try to play with a gamepad, but I'm not sure that would work out too well. The game has ten thousand different keyboard shortcuts you ideally use and getting them all mapped on a pad is, uhm, not sure, let's say potentially a challenge.

I tried playing XWA with a PS4 gamepad not too long ago. Getting the axes to map correctly was a bit of a nightmare but once that was out of the way it worked pretty well. Aiming with the analog stick was tricky, but that's probably more down to my own lack of skill with a controller than a problem the setup itself. I didn't find the lack of buttons to be an issue, honestly.

As an owner of a Thrustmaster T16000M I can wholeheartedly recommend it. It's a great flightstick with tons of axes and buttons. I used and loved it in X4 (once the 4.0 update and new expansion come out I need to revisit the game).

Or you can buy a stick. I am genuilly considering that (thrustmaster t 16000m?) though my pad's left stick is misbehaving, so maybe I will have to buy a new pad before that.

I enjoyed that joystick, but I also bought the throttle aswell, if anyone else would buy it I also recommend going to the hardware store and buying some silicone grease.

The throttle is really sticky and from what me and a friend found out, they don't grease the runners properly, so you're going to have to do that yourself.

Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L. The only game that will never "need" a remaster is Majesty, because it is already perfect.

Could make the expansion easier. 😛

For the one time in ten years I feel the urge to go back to Tie Fighter? Nah.

I wouldn't mind giving Freespaces another playthrough though.

Think of it as an investment for Space Citizen 😛

I bought the USB version of a CH F-16 Fighterstick purely to play Privateer so hey. Design as old as the game itself.

Sure, without the nostalgia factor there are probably better buys out there. No twist axis back then, definitely, though I dunno how common it is on modern sticks. Meanwhile I've had a Cougar HOTAS for 20 years but have barely used it - too complex for the games I play - obviously it's waiting for Star Citizen.

One could speculate that Cyberpunk scared the bits, bytes and pixels out of other large publishers and they now try to prevent the same thing happening to them.

I have to say, I'm surprised. PDX have developed a bit of a reputation for releasing broken stuff so this is not in character for them.

I wonder whose lap will this hot potato land in. Harebrained?

They are going to have to sell so much DLC just to break even.

This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.

I'm the enemy, 'cause I like to think, I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech, and freedom of choice. I'm the kinda guy that likes to sit in a greasy spoon and wonder, "Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecue ribs with the side-order of gravy fries?" I want high cholesterol! I wanna eat bacon, and butter, and buckets of cheese, okay?! I wanna smoke a Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in the non-smoking section! I wanna run naked through the street, with green Jell-O all over my body, reading Playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly may feel the need to, okay, pal? I've SEEN the future. This.  Truly a wakeup call but at least hey now the BS factor is curbed significantly.

That is the reaction of googling the dev studio and realising how villainless the game will be with Irene as a Malkavian?

D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die was a thoroughly promising game from lovable weirdo Swery that unfortunately was never and will never be finished. :shifty:

I just want Dying Light 2 to be released, I am prepared to ignore alleged accusations of bias and gender inequality because we dont know what is true and what is a scurrilous accusation meant to malign Techland

Also direct from your link CEO Pawel Marchewka clearly states

“Techland takes the welfare of our staff seriously and we are always evaluating ways that we can learn and improve - that is the key to long-term success. We expect all our employees to set a good example and treat others the way they would expect to be treated themselves. To support that, we are starting a series of different training sessions [this year], including with specialists from outside our organisation. It is important that all of our employees know that we do not discriminate against anyone based on gender, colour, or sexual orientation.”

I believe him so I will continue to support Techland and I cant wait for the release of DL2

The forum ? I know they have a weird feature to scroll within a thread independent of the page and it's awful on mobile, but works well (unlike this place... 😛 ).  Could also check https://www.diablofans.com/
