I will also vouch for Grim Dawn sister. It's the best damn loot em up I've ever played. It's essentially better Titan Quest.

I'm the enemy, 'cause I like to think, I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech, and freedom of choice. I'm the kinda guy that likes to sit in a greasy spoon and wonder, "Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecue ribs with the side-order of gravy fries?" I want high cholesterol! I wanna eat bacon, and butter, and buckets of cheese, okay?! I wanna smoke a Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in the non-smoking section! I wanna run naked through the street, with green Jell-O all over my body, reading Playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly may feel the need to, okay, pal? I've SEEN the future. Do you know what it is? It's a 47-year-old virgin sitting around in his beige pajamas, drinking a banana-broccoli shake, singing "I'm an Oscar Meyer Wiene"

Both solid titles (Majesty and Grim Dawn).ย  Now who's gonna find that magic no.3 title and cement the holy trinity?

Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

Or Anthem... so hard to choose one...

Ha!ย  Stupid me posting before doing research on what 'Anthem' is, I've never even heard of it because I pay literally zero attention to EA trends.

I guess it's time to revisit Heroes 3 then, it's been *looks at watch* 15+ years or so since I've played it...ย

I was watching some video re: Diablo4's passive talent tree (that's actually graphically, on the surface ... a tree! haha, get it!) and thinking to myself that I kind of wish arpg's would stop aping Path of Exile re: extensive node systems at this point.ย  Just because PoE has mega node system doesn't mean every arpg has to ape it in some form or another now. Someone needs to invent a "new norm" again.

I like talent tree -like systems, much more interesting than usual lists. Though, at some point you'll want a 3rd party site where you can plan and check beforehand what to take... Thankfully PoE has that, Grim Dawn too.

Pretty much the Beamdog story, with the original art assets being "lost".

I don't think so. They just look similar to one another I guess.

Yeah, my boss is going to kill me, I had 15 days vacation time from Nov 16 to dec 4th. This is getting ****ing annoying.

They should just ditch the new consoles and release for the old consoles and pc and focus their efforts. Or just delay the game indefinetly, shut down their PR campaign and start it again a week before release.

Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L. Mencken
