    Shenmue III has been released. I've received and activated my key (backed the game on Kickstarter) and it is downloading now (the size is about 35GB, despite the store page claiming 100; mentioning it, because it had bothered me greatly during the campaign).

    Edit. The game crashes (when launched from EGS) or shows only black screen (when launched from Steam). I suppose, I should have waited longer for patches. Not unusual, but still unpleasant.

    Yeah, only for multiplayer. Still, considering they were making a big fuss about having no MTX in the game, this does leave a bit of a sour taste in the mouth.

    Meh, so far I feel about Multiplayer for C77, same way I feel about Gwent. 

    Not a good news, but I wonder what that means about nature of C77 multiplayer. If it will be like GTA5 multiplayer (aka, addition to single player experience) that I do take issue with it. If they release it as a stand alone, Free to play thing - then sure, whatever.

    Do we know what the multiplayer is? PvP? Cooperative campaign of single player?

    Guessing article has been updated since the original post about it. The've since corrected that MTX wasn't mentioned, jsut that they're thinking how to monetize the multiplayer aspect.

    Eh, couldn't care less about the multiplayer part. It probably won't be great anyway and quickly forgotten.

    Is CD Projekt now Rockstar Poland or what?  I mean of course I'll by C77 now that I've upgraded my rig but it's like they're copying everything from Rockstar's playbook.

    GTAO has been wildly successful, so it's no surprise they'd be aping it. CDPR are, after all, a company interested in making money and they'd want something to capitalise on C2077 better than Gwent did with TW3.

    They do of course rather make a rod for their own back by pretending to be all consumer focused, all the time. There's clearly never been any prospect of it being 'free' multiplayer in the way people might have thought of it a decade or so ago; it's way too big a projekt for that.

    Bah, they could fleece and flay those multiplayahs for all I care; it's because of them we cannot have good things (aka normal single player games without motherloving multiplayer component tacked on) anymore. :getlost:
