My group played a bunch of D&D - but our DMs always created their own settings and storylines. We once tried Keep on the Shadowfell, an introdution module to a 4th Edition campaign of a total of three adventures that came out a bit before the actual 4th edition rulebooks. It was okay. It served more as an introduction to the ruleset, was fairly well made but average all around. Perhaps the follow up modules were more interesting, we never really got to play them due to a lack of time. So, yeah. Can't contribute more. ^^ No mind to think. No will to break. Oner
My group occasionally plays DnD too, but we either play our own game or sometimes fan modules our GM played at a local con and those have to be edited by him cause they're full of holes. Said GM likes this blog, you might find good ones mentioned here: http://beyondfomalhaut.blogspot.com/ Edited June 15, 2019 by Oner 1 Giveaway list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DgyQFpOJvyNASt8A12ipyV_iwpLXg_yltGG5mffvSwo/edit?usp=sharing What is glass but tortured sand?Never forget! Tale
I've only had one DM (out of 3) use a module and it was like the starter stuff from 4E. We were all pretty new then. During 4E I used to buy modules because I was a sucker who thought I'd ever get to use them. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater." bravestcolour
Night Below is such a great module! The D-Series modules for AD&D are my all-time favorite however. Descent into the Depths of the Earth (D1-2) is such a great Underdark primer and Vault of the Drow (D3) is so well-written but adaptable you could make a whole campaign out of it. Yosharian
I hate pre-made modules. They don't match my standards for what constitutes a fleshed out game. Yosharian's Deadfire Builds

I prefer futzing around with and riffing off published stuff, I'm just not that creative to make something from nothing. But I play 1e and OD&D so I like the real classics. I love the TSR and Judges Guild modules, and a bunch of the newer stuff as well. Good times!
MedicineDan
Keep on the Borderlands! :wink and grin: My pathfinder group likes modules. We're almost done with a campaign where the main baddie is some guy named Lols or some such. Unfortunate name for a non-comical bad guy. I always create my own campaigns, so I haven't run a module for years, but I did enjoy Expedition to the Barrier Peaks back in the 80s. 1 "Not for the sake of much time..."
