Hi folks and space travelers, I'm facing a pretty annoying bug in Cascadia. As soon as I take the elevator for Rizzo Screts Lab, the game crash to desktop during the loading screen. I tried various thing: Changing companion, dismissing them and entering alone, reloading the zone by visiting another planet first, progressing the main story a bit further before accessing it, without any luck so far. Still the same crash. My GPU drivers are up-to-date and changing graphical setting doesn't change jack either. There's a few CTD related topic around here, but so far, no solution provided in other thread did the job for me. Would any of you be aware of a fix or a workaround ? There's apparently two quest inside (A science weapon and one to smuggle out Algae-gas) that I'd like to complete. Thanks

Every time i start a new game, after getting past the first 2 marauder groups the game crashes with an "Out of Memory error". I have tried every graphics option, restarting, old and new video drivers, different resolutions, and every display mode (windowed, borderless, fullscreen). Specs Win 10, 5960x, 64gb ram, 1080ti GPU.

So, i am on the mission , she needs some time to think. after returning from a quick trip of world, the game shuts down after entering Amber Heights and walking a few steps in either direction. No error message or anything, it just shuts down. I tried updating my drivers since i was a version behind, but that didn't work. I am completely stuck on this quest as i can't continue. Update: After doing a lot of other quests i went back, and it didn't happen. so i guess it's at random times?

I just recently began playing PoE II again, after switching to a hard drive that runs Windows 10 (I have another that runs Win 7 Ultimate, but haven't played PoE II on it since around the start of this year), with around 20 or so mods. I noticed rather quickly that my game was crashing to desktop, taking anywhere from 10 minutes to roughly an hour, though usually between 10-30 minutes of playtime. Most of the crashes seemed to be happening during a story scene, dialogue, leveling up, changing locations...pretty much any time I wasn't controlling my characters on the map or in combat. After checking on Steam to see if there were any missing/corrupted files, uninstalling/reinstalling, and trying to figure out what mod was causing the issue, and having to fight with the in-game mod manager (which would re-check any mods I disabled unless I returned to the main menu, then went back to it, and even then would re-enable them when the game crashed), I removed all of them and tried starting an entirely new game without them, to see if one of the mods somehow were the cause. That did make the crashes less frequent, or at least I -think- it did, though due to the large range of playtime before PoE II would crash, I'm not too sure that mods were the issue to begin with. This also never happened when I was playing it before the 5.0 update, on Windows 7 either. A few crashes on a completely new, unmodded game, the most recent of which was earlier today and after only 20-30 minutes of playing, I figured I should post here to try and get a solution. Linked below is the most recent save file and crash log of that. Attached to this is my system specs too. https://mega.nz/#!UJckmQbR https://mega.nz/#F!EdFymaCA DxDiag.txt

Hi. So I just installed the game and right after trying to start it, I get the following error message: " Oops! The game crashed. The crash report folder named "2019-02-28_162222" next to game executable. It would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game! " Attached to this message is a zip file with the crash.dmp, error.log and output_log.txt files. It includes the dxdiag.txt file as well with my system specs. I'd really appreciate it if I could get some guidance as to how to proceed. Thanks! 2019-02-28_162222.zip

Good afternoon, Am experiencing a curious oddity of a crash. I've played through PoE before on my Toshiba laptop and had no real issues. However, I recently upgraded to a new (non-laptop) computer, and decided "you know, I think I want to replay PoE and import my character into PoE 2, now that it's out". I've a relatively new system, which includes a GeForce GTX 1060, a Realtek soundtrack, an obnoxious amount of RAM, and no idea why the game locks up. Naturally, I've updated my Nvidia and Real Tek drivers, and despite that the crashes still occur. Upon attempting to load the game, it gets as far as the initial encampment scene, and after wandering for a few minutes around the encampment, the game suddenly locks up. It doesn't BSOD me, it just...locks up. The audio continues to work - Justin Bell's double-fine tunes continue playing in the background despite everything freezing up like some kind of freaky flash mob. As per Obsidian protocol, I've attached my DXDiag text and the Output log. I've attempted to attach my most recent savegame, but am not being permitted to attach it to this message for reasons unclear to me. It would be lovely if someone could attend to this post and perhaps offer an email to which I could send the savegame, should they need it, as well as some advice around how to go about eliminating this issue. Thank you kindly in advance for your time and effort! Best, Ilya DxDiag.txt output_log.txt

I've recently run into a fairly annoying UI bug that essentially makes the UI more difficult to interact with by left clicking. For example, during dialogue I will click "continue" and nothing will happen on the first click. Sometimes this will repeat for two or even three clicks, but it is also very inconsistent, going away and coming back seemingly at random or perhaps only when I haven't made any inputs for a certain period of time (for example, if I stop to read/listen to a particularly long bit of dialogue or to consider a response choice for several seconds). Dialogue isn't the only thing being affected; closing windows by left clicking the "X" at the top of a UI window (any of them) sometimes fails, with the X appearing and remaining depressed even when moving the mouse cursor away. Again, eventually the UI responds correctly. Additionally, but much less frequently, sometimes when clicking to move a character or group of selected characters the input is sometimes entirely ignored, despite the cursor displaying the animation indicating the input was received (the crosshairs come together but no green copy of it appears on the ground where I clicked). I suppose this could be a hardware issue (something with my mouse, perhaps) but I didn't experience these issues until today; specifically, until after I interacted with the second pillar of luminous adra located in Hasongo. To be certain of this, I loaded a save from before interacting with the pillar and, sure enough, the UI responds as fluidly and cleanly as I had experienced up until this point. I have interacted with the pillar multiple times, to see if the bug would come back. Each time I notice that the bug does reappear, at first happening only once or twice every five minutes but then becoming more prominent as I continue to play the game beyond that point, until it happens once every 30 seconds or so of gameplay (with some gaps in between). Another issue I've run into is that, when changing party composition while sailing on the world map, the game will frequently crash to desktop. This only seems to happen after spending a significant amount of time playing the game (>2 hours).

After defeating the drake in the Level 5 of the Endless Pass when I try to walk down the stairs the game just crashes to desktop. The link is to my dropbox with my gamefiles/saves and screenshot of the moment just before. Anyone have a fix on this? https://www.dropbox.com/s/zhx1ldcgszfuu8p/Desktop.zip?dl=0 EDIT: I tried verifying my Game Cache in Steam, it found nothing wrong but now it works. No CTD.
