  1. Yes, I had just finished a game of VTM and recognized her voice the moment I heard it. It's a shame that they don't have a photo of her on the IMDB site. I did find this one of her, though I don't remember where. She also has her own web site. http://www.greydelisle.com/
  2. Belaya? No, you don't get her as a party member. When you encounter her outside of the Sith academy she'll berate your character and then attack. You have no choice but to kill her.
  3. Atris didn't go to Katarr. Though it's not mentioned anywhere in the game, either the sound files or the dialog file (or both) contain reference(s) to Atris having disseminated information about the Jedi conclave on Katarr in hope of making the threat to the Jedi reveal itself. It did, and a dead world - save for Visas - was the result.
  4. Well, you could do what I do - don't use Force powers in the tomb on Korriban if your character is LS. Whack the hssiss with your glow stick instead. It works fine unless you spawn too many of the things. I was spawning 10 or more at a time, got my LS char up 6 levels or so, and didn't resort to using the Force once.
  5. I don't know about the DS Hanharr glitch, but I have successfully spawned dozens and dozens of hssiss in the tomb on Korriban after applying the patch.
  6. Did you take it's ear.? The Mandlorian captain requires that as proof that your character has killed a zakkeg.
  7. It's doable. I beat KotOR 1 in 6 hours 54 minutes. A friend of mine shaved nearly an hour off of my time. Her time was 5 hours 57 minutes. Edit: At the end of my speed run through K1 my character was 1500 points shy of level 19. My friend's character hit level 19.
  8. Compartment. The smuggling compartment in the in the hold of the Ebon Hawk in K1 is absent in K2. The one in the starboard dorm contains random loot. I never got anything particularly good out of it, but I like to do Nar Shaddaa as my first planet after Telos. I suppose if your character is at a higher level the loot will be better.
  9. Sometimes the smuggling compartment in the starboard dorm doesn't spawn. You can find a patch that fixes that here: http://magestrix.com/K2End/downloads.html The patch will work even if you add it after talking to the man on Nar Shaddaa. No sense looking for it in K1 - it's not there and never was.
  10. Stay away from the entrance to the building Mandalore is in. When you get too close to it a final group of Sith assassins de-cloak and when you finish them off the cut scene with Mandalore starts and you're off to Onderon. The Sith assassins respawn in the fighting circle where Xarga gave your PC the quest to find Kumus's remains and an area near the entrance to the Mandalorian camp. Just keep running back and forth between those two areas without nearing the building Mandalore is in and you can do this forever. Or at least until it gets too boring.
  11. The Ebon Hawk that leaves the planet is the same one your party arrived in. If you look at the cut scenes carefully you can see that when the ship leaves Malachor V it's showing the same external damage as in the cut scene showing it plunge into the chasm. I can only assume that the damage caused by the crash wasn't as bad as it outwardly appeared. After all, your party did survive the crash and steel is tougher than meat and bone.
  12. http://radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm Download the Rad Video Tools. It contains a player that will allow you to watch the movies. No sound though. As long as you're there you might as well download the Miles Sound Tools which will allow you to listen to the dialog and music files that are on your hard drive. http://radgametools.com/mssdown.htm I am assuming that you have the PC version of the game. If you don't I've no idea as to how you can view the movies.
  13. IIRC you have to beat Geredi three times before he refuses to play your character any more. If you've dealt with the Twi'lek woman and the droid the champ should show when your party attempts to leave the pazaak den after beating Geredi that final time.
  14. Sweet! That means I can wield a normal lightsaber in my off-hand right? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I KotOR, yes. In KotOR II, I don't know. I don't own an XBox, so I've no way of knowing. It's quite possible that Obsidian fixed the glitch.
  15. The glitch was only in the XBox version of the game and was somewhat different than you describe. The glitch allowed a character to use a double bladed lightsaber, or dual wield lightsabers, without any penalty even if the character hadn't taken the Twin Weapon Fighting feats. It was fixed in the PC version of the game.
  16. I bet it ignited quickly too <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't you mean ignited prematurely?
  17. I have to go with T3 as well. Even back in K1 he was more than capable kicking HK's shiny metal ass.
  18. You can get some influence with her if you have her in your party when you cure the ill refugee just inside the entrance to the refugee sector. It's not really necessary though, as you can gain more than enough influence with Mira solely through conversation - assuming your char's INT, WIS or Awareness is high enough. During the first conversation with her ask her about growing up on Nar Shaddaa and about Hanharr. You'll get influence failures if you haven't already gotten a little influence with her. Then ask her,"Why don't you kill your targets?" You'll get a dialog option with either a WIS, INT or Awareness tag in front of it - it should be similar to this line: "Because all life is connected, and Malachor proved it - you know what the loss of family means, even to your targets." When your character says that line, Mira will become angry and blow off your character. Not to worry. Everything is fine. Talk to her again and apologize. Follow this conversation as far as it goes. Talk to her again, asking her about growing up on Nar Shaddaa, Hanharr and why she doesn't kill her targets. Again, follow out all of the dialog threads. Take her back to the Ebon Hawk and talk to her while on board. Tell her she seems "restless" and follow out the dialog branches till you can tell her that you can take her to the spot on Nar Shaddaa where Kreia showed your PC the Force, which is near the railing in front of the entrance to the pazaak den and cantina. Drag her back to that spot and a cut scene will trigger automatically. The dialog choices for your character during this scene are pretty obvious. When it ends you can start leveling her up as a Jedi. You don't have to leave Nar Shaddaa to turn her into a Jedi and the conversations with her can be done back to back, without anything else happening in between them.
  19. It's not your card. I have an Nvidia 6800 GTO and the same thing happens in my game.
  20. Of the battles listed, I'll have to say the Star Forge, though Freedon Nadd's tomb is pretty good. However... My favorite fight in either game is from K1. I like to have my PC solo the fight with the Trandoshan on Yavin station after acquiring the final star map. It's a real blast - there are 8 or 9 of them and they start lobbing thermal detonators at your character. If you haven't tried soloing that fight you should give it a whirl at least once. It's a hoot.
  21. I've found all of that. Hell, in one game I had three Circlet of Saresh. Two CNS Strength Enhancers as well.
  22. I think it must be added by a mod. That screen cap shows Peragus station and I know that there is no armor like that available there, and certainly no lightsaber.
  23. I never had any problem turning Mira into a Jedi. I always managed to do it before leaving Nar Shaddaa. Every bit of influence my character gained with her came through conversations with her. You have to get Mira to open up to your character, to tell about living on Nar Shaddaa, about Hanharr, but the real trigger seems to be when you ask her why she doesn't kill her targets. You should get an awareness dialog option there that will cause her to get angry and blow off your PC. When you talk to her again, apologize and ask her about anything that she wouldn't talk about before. All of it. Take her back to the Ebon Hawk and tell her she seems restless and ask her about Nar Shaddaa until you get the option to show her the spot where Kreia showed your PC the force. Take her off of the Ebon Hawk and go to the spot near the railing in front of the entrance to the pazaak den and cantina. The scene should trigger automatically.
  24. List of Common Usenet Acronyms You're going to have to learn them sooner or later, so you may as well start now.
  25. IIRC the KotOR 2 trailer was made relatively early in the game's developement. At that time many of the models for the characters, robes and armors were unfinished, so existing models from the first game were used to make the trailer. AFAIK none of the robes from K1 made it into K2.
