Do you mean finding the head or finding out to do with it after you've found it.? To find out where it is talk to the beast rider in one of the cantina's side rooms - I think his name is Panar. He'll give you a lead on finding it. After you've got it in your possession talk to Kiph - the Twi'lek slicer. He'll fix it so that you can see the last images it recorded. After that, take it to Nikko the pazaak player. Talking to him about it will trigger a cut scene that will result in Dagon Ghent getting sprung from jail.

Interesting. When I hear her voice I hear Jeanette from VTM: Bloodlines. In fact, I can't listen to Handmaiden talk without a mental image of Jeanette forming in my head.

During the first conversation with Visas after she recovers from the fight your character had with her, you should get the option to ask her, "I have heard your species is blind. How are you able to see?" Follow up her response with, "You sound as if that sight is lost to you." and she'll teach your character how to use Force Sight. IIRC you need to have some influence with her in order for this to happen. That shouldn't be a problem if your character has been nice to her. I'm not sure if it's possible to have her teach your character about it as far into the game as you've gotten. -
Just a thought, but which character did you pick to lead the party? When my party entered Freedon Nadd's tomb I had chosen Mira as the party leader when assembling the party on Dxun. The full party was Mira (sentinel), Disciple (consular) and Mandalore. Mira was the only party member in my group that would attempt to access the DS energy fields. I have to assume that it was because she was the party leader. That was rather funny actually, as she apparently tried to converse with someone who wasn't there when I tried to click on the energy field. Perhaps the devs never considered the possibility that someone would choose her to lead the party into the tomb. Rather odd, as she's one of the only four that you can choose.

That probably depends on what graphic card he's using. I have an Nvidia 6800 GTO and having Frame Buffer Effects either enabled or disabled has absolutely no effect on Force Sight. It looks the same either way. As Dufflover was speculating about Atris' alignment at the two points the exile interacts with her I've attached a cap showing her viewed with Force Sight during my exile's second visit. -
Can't install HK's pacifist upgrade?
Neroyume replied to edm203's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I have the PC version of the game and didn't have any problems installing it. Look at the screen capture I've attached. It shows the dialog option to install the pacifist module. If you don't have that dialog option, all I can suggest is to make sure the pacifist upgrade is acutally in your inventory. -
Can't install HK's pacifist upgrade?
Neroyume replied to edm203's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The only quest you have to complete is the Trade Dispute quest, as the package doesn't become available for purchace from Geeda till you set up the second trade route for her. As long as you have the pacifist package in your inventory, and you've already got HK functioning, you should be able to install it. IIRC the dialog option to choose is "I found a new upgrade part for you. [install HK Protocol Pacifist Package.]" -
That guy in the screen cap with Bastila is Carth. If you said Revan went LS and saved the Republic in the conversation with Atton at the beginning of the game, Carth will show up as the admiral in command of the Republic fleet during the Sith attack on Telos. It doesn't matter what gender you set Revan to be. You meet with admiral Onasi instead of some nameless admiral after the Ravager is destroyed. Bastila will make an appearance only if you said Revan was both LS and male.

He looks like he's suffering from severe constipation.

Visas is blind, at least to the visible light spectrum, and sees only through the force. Her force sight is constantly in effect and it would be rather silly for her to have it as a selectable force power. If you want to use her force sight select her and switch to the first person view. -
Carth will be on the Republic ship if you told Atton Revan was LS - Revan's gender doesn't matter. Bastila will appear on Telos station after the exile walks out of the room after the meeting with the admiral, but only if you said Revan was LS and male during your conversation with Atton. And I thought Carth's orange jacket was hideous.

Mira's purpose on Nar Shaddaa?
Neroyume replied to DarthRevanRLZ's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
No, Mira never says her parents died at Malachor, only that she lost family there. Mira was a slave of the Mandalorians and eventually grew to consider them something of a family. She never mentions her parents. To quote Mira herself: "As much as any slave becomes a Mandalorian. They took prisoners on every world they conquered to bolster their ranks - and they took a lot of worlds. I don't know, it didn't matter. I was too young to remember, really. Besides, Nar Shaddaa's kind of grown on me. It's as much my home as anyplace else. When I was young, yeah. They mostly used me to carry ammo packs and munitions. Toward the end of the war, they needed everyone they could get. They taught me to fight, to hunt, to survive. I was part of their squad, even when I was young. Everyone served as part of the unit, and I felt like I had a place there." -
Your timing seems to be a bit off. Atton didn't start hunting Jedi for Revan until after the Mandalorian war was over. If Kae was killed during the battle at Malachor V isn't it likely that she was killed when the mass shadow generator was activated? Other Jedi were killed by it. That might explain her father's state of mind when he returned from Malachor.

I'll give it a shot. Let's see how many I manage to get wrong. A. Visas B. Kreia C. Mira D. Atton E. Disciple F. Handmaiden

That isn't a very good picture of Jennifer Hale IMO. This one is a bit better. She looks quite a bit more like Bastila in this photo.

From the dialog.tlk file. Vrook on Dantooine. "Where Jedi gather, Jedi die.{Quietly}But not just Jedi... all things touched by the Force. The last Jedi conclave was on Katarr, a Miraluka colony. And all of Katarr was destroyed, all of the Jedi killed...Including Master Zhar... Master Vandar..." I wouldn't mind seeing Yuthura again. She was my favorite character from K1. I was rather disappointed that she didn't make an appearance in this game.

I have to disagree. When I played KotOR Jolee and Juhani never left the ship. I used Bastila quite a bit, but that was mostly for her dialogs (I'm a sucker for a British accent.) Carth and Zalbaar never left the ship either. Normally my party would consist of Revan and either Bastila, Mission or Canderous. Once Bastila went MIA it was Revan, Canderous and Mission. Canderous is a tank and should be used as such. His dexterity is too low to make him a good ranged fighter, so slap a pair of vibroblades in his hands (preferably Baragwin) and he could slice through the dark Jedi faster than my PC could. Mission gets the sneak attack bonus on any NPC that can't respond to her attacks, so if your PC has either Stasis Field or Insanity, you can just stand back and watch her either blast away or slice and dice with impunity. Her high DEX gives her both a good defense and a high to hit with ranged weapons. My preferred party for taking on the Star Forge is Canderous and Mission and I never had any problems. Hell, I've done the Star Forge solo and didn't find it all that difficult. The droids are quite effective if you take the time to equip them properly. I've run the Star Forge with T3 and HK in tow at the same time. They acquitted themselves admirably. I don't think I used more than 20 repair kits till we reached Bastila in the map room. Oh yes, before I forget. I liked HK in K1 and spent more than a little time exploring his dialog tree. In K2 he leaves me flat. He never leaves the ship and frankly, I feel a bit cheated for having taken the time to repair him.
-
Not really much to say about this. My avatar entered the ship on Nar Shaddaa and found HK laying on the deck. This is after he's fully repaired BTW.

What happened to the rest of the K1 crew?
Neroyume replied to Darth Sun_Tzu's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Carth wasn't on the Ebon Hawk when Revan took it to Malachor V. The only passengers, other than Revan, were T3 and HK. Revan left the ship on Malachor when s/he departed for regions unknown. Kreia used the ship to flee Malachor after Sion and Nihilus turned on her. Assuming a LS ending in K1, it's quite likely that entire cast is alive and well. -
I'm playing the game. Other than a single CTD I haven't had any problems with K2.

The Visas vs Exile intro fight...
Neroyume replied to LadyCrimson's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
That happened to me as well. When my exile was fighting Visas T3 rolled in, turned on his shield and started spamming Visas with his flamethrower. I don't know that it did anything, but I did appreciate the effort on his part. It also happened to a friend of mine, but in her game T3 managed to get in between her character and Visas, so when the fight was over it appeared that Visas was prostrating herself before T3 and pledging herself to him rather than to her exile. -
Exile: Double bladed violet. I like violet. Visas: Double bladed silver. It went well with her red and black outfit. Mira: Double bladed orange. Replaced the orange crystal with a bronze one later in the game. The bronze matches her hair and her personality. Kreia: Single bladed green. No particular reason. The reason I have them all sporting double bladed lightsabers is that I didn't find any single bladed ones until my last planet. I didn't manage to convert any other NPCs my first time through. Oh well, perhaps in my next time through.

It does have the advantage of allowing your character to see through walls. Or rather, it allows your character to see through doors. For some odd reason walls remain impenetrable to Force Sight.
