  1. When your PC is in the Malachor depths, you will come across the spot where Mira awakened. If you look up you'll see the Ebon Hawk just above. If you examine the screen cap I've attached, you'll see an opening in the underside of the ship. It appears to be approximately in the location she hung out on the ship. Either it was torn off in the crash and she fell out, unlikely IMO as it's too clean of an opening, or there was some type of emergency exit there and she opened it and dropped out of the ship of her own volition so that she could search for the exile. After the fight with Hanharr is over, you can see that Mira is walking toward the entrance of Trayus academy. It would seem that she is following the exile. She healed Tobin so the he would inform Nihilus of the existance of the academy on Telos. She wanted Nihilus to attack Telos so the the Republic fleet and/or the exile would kill him.
  2. The three that aren't in the game. Masters Zhar, Dorak and Vandar.
  3. That's a well documented bug. If you trigger the quest after finishing up on Korriban or, as you did, kill Dustil in the Sith academy all Carth will continue to talk about is his son. However, if you had Carth in your party when you killed Dustil, all he'll say after that is that he wishes he had never met your character. So, by the dialog in the line Carth keeps repeating to your Revan, you must have triggered the quest, but either not finished it up before the trial in the tomb of Naga Sadow, or chosen the wrong dialog option when dealing with Dustil. If you kill Uthar and Yuthara during the trial, or turn Yuthura to the LS, the academy is leaderless and will turn hostile to your character forcing you to kill everyone on your way back through it. Even if you manage to not kill the brat, the academy door locks behind you as you exit and you can never re-enter it.
  4. It's just you. Visas and Handmaiden are polar opposites - nothing alike. The only similarity they share is that both will follow the exile.
  5. I'd say that her hair is either dark brown or black. I'd almost swear that there are times that I've gotten very brief glimpses of her hair under the back of her veil, but it could be just my imagination.
  6. I doubt that having KotOR II installed is causing any problems in the first game. Most of the problems you've mentioned were either in K1 as it shipped or added by the patches. It's quite common in K1 for an NPC to use a combat feat they don't have or to use a lesser variant of one of their force powers.I found that the 1.03 patch really bugged the combat scripting for the NPCs and rolled back to the 1.02 patch which alleviated many of my problems.
  7. Your mention of Yavin caused me to assume you were talking about KotOR I. Yavin isn't in KotOR II, just in the first game. I'm afraid other than the "character name" crystal you find in the cave on Dantooine, finding crystals is pretty random. There are a few spots where you'll always find a specific crystal, but nothing especially powerful.
  8. Neither dialog option affects your next meetings with Bastila, or your ability to save her, so go ahead and keep playing. I've used both options, in different games obviously, and managed to turn her back to the LS without having to kill her. It's a moot point if you're going for the DS ending.
  9. Heart of the Guardian + Upari + Solari. The Solari crystal is normally restricted to LS characters, but the HotG and Mantle of tthe Force crystals negate that restriction allowing DS characters to use it. I usually use the MotF + Upari + Solari combination myself - it does somewhat less damage but I prefer the color - teal blue to the HotF's reddish orange color. These crystals only become available for purchase after you've acquired the final star map and have visited Yavin station at least three times. It's well worth visiting Yavin station after completing each planet and selling all the items you've acquired there instead of to the merchants on the various worlds. Suvam Tan will pay 2.5 times the price other merchants do for everything. That includes the racing bonds ftom Tatooine. In addition, if you beat him 10 times at Pazaak he will give your character a 20% discount on all your purchaces. Considering how expensive the items he sells are that can add up to quite a savings. IIRC the Motf and the HotG crystals are 22,500 and 25,000 credits each.
  10. Here's one I've had occur a few times, at various locals within the game. My exile has encountered a locked door, this time in the lower level of the Jedi enclave. I decide she'll open it with her lightsaber rather than attempting to use security to open it. She lines herself up, turns her back to the door and proceeds to thrust her lightsaber forward into empty air. Surprisingly, her lightsaber still breached the lock mechanism, even though it never made contact with it.
  11. You encounter Darth Bandon after acquiring two Star Maps in addition to the one from Dantooine. He'll be on the third planet, the next one your character visits, regardless of the order in which you do them. On Manaan he'll ambush your party after you've acquired the Star Map and returned to the harvesting facility, on Kashyyyk when your party is lowered into the shadowlands for the first time, on Korriban the first time your party enters the valley of the Sith Lords and on Tatooine after your character snags the Star Map. These are all the same places where Calo Nord will spawn BTW.
  12. You can buy The Elder Scrolls:Morrowind - Game of the Year edition for $20 US. It comes with both the Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansion packs. It's a steal at that price. If you play it on the PC you have the advantage of being able to download mods to add quests, NPCs, factions and even new landmasses to explore.
  13. No. You have to side with one tribe or the other. Which means that you're going to end up slaughtering either the Elder Rakatan or the One's tribe. There is no peaceful solution.
  14. That depends on the dialog options you use. AFAIK she only says that if you ask her to bring your character the mask. I never did, as I didn't particularly want it, so she never said that to my character.
  15. The exile didn't have the Force stripped from him/herself. S/he deliberately cut him/herself off from the Force in order to survive what happened when the mass shadow generator was activated at Malachor V. If you ask Visas what she saw under the mask she responds, "A man, nothing more." She says this even if your exile is female.
  16. In two games the only dark Jedi robes I found, other than the dark Padawan robes, was a single set of dark Jedi Knight robes which I found on a corpse in the rebuilt Jedi enclave. I also picked up Freedons Nadd's blaster at the same time. Rather odd to find them there, don't you think?
  17. I mentioned in an earlier post that a friend of mine had T3 move in between her exile and Visas during the fight when Visas confronts the PC in the starboard dormitory of the Ebon Hawk. Well, that happened to me tonight. As you can see in these screen caps, my exile is not on screen and it appears that Visas is swearing allegiance to T3. The little guy has all the luck.
  18. I don't have a screen cap, but when I made the final repair to HK the camera switched to T3 and remained locked on him. As my character's conversation with HK progressed the camera remained locked on him as he roamed around the ship. That in itself wouldn't be too bad, but T3 was sinking through the deck plates the whole time he was moving. He sunk so deep into the deck that the camera angle was from outside of the ship and I could see almost the entire enterior of the Ebon Hawk from outside and below.
  19. Carth is a Republican? I knew it all along! (!)
  20. It isn't so much that I resent being forced to use certain NPCs at specific times, it's that I resent being forced to take them into my party at all. If I don't want NPC XXXXXX in my party that should be my decision, not that of the developer. I don't like having the NPCs crammed down my throat.
  21. The blades of the lightsabers seem too thick. IMO their diamater shouldn't be the same as that of the hilt and the blade should taper slightly so that the tip is slightly more narrow than the base of the blade is.
  22. If you set Revan to LS and male during the conversation near the beginning of the game, after the Ravager is destroyed you'll get a cut scene on Telos station in which your character has a conversation with admiral Onasi. Bastila will walk in and converse with Carth after your character exits the room. The exile doesn't get an opportunity to speak with her. If you set Revan to LS and female Bastila doesn't make an appearance at all. If you set Revan to DS, male or female, the cut scene on Telos is with some nameless admiral.
  23. If you watch the cut scene closely, you can see that the Remote isn't destroyed by GO-TO. After he zaps it, the Remote falls to the deck and almost completely sinks into the decking material. There are a few places on the ship that your avatar's feet will sink into the deck plating. It's nothing more than a clipping error.
  24. Check the color crystals of the lightsabers you acquire during the game. The bronze crystal is pretty much indistinguishable from a yellow crystal when you look at the lightsaber in the inventory screen. IIRC I received my first bronze crystal in a double bladed lightsaber given to my character by Mandalore.
