  1. Small adventures could be pretty good, if they're interesting and well written, so I'm hopeful. That said I kinda hope Deadfire does well enough that Obsidian also do a post-end bigger expansion akin to the White March in length.
  2. If you're actually getting 100Mb/s all the time then just over 45 minutes. EDIT: assuming you meant 35 gigabytes and 100 megabits per second. Technically you've written gigabits (well actually not even that, since the G should be a capital) and microbits per second
  3. I think that anyone who holds a particular ideology strongly enough can become a Paladin. I don't think you need to sign up to a preexisting Paladin Order. The existence of orders for the player character was, probably, a consequence of needing some way to govern favoured and unfavoured dispositions. So, for example, the Iron Flail Paladins may not belong to an order at all, they may simple be very strong believes in Adaryc's vision. EDIT: I might be wrong about this. The description on the wiki states that "[Paladins] can be found in any culture where a fanatical group of like-minded individuals have formed a warrior society dedicated to advancing their cause." which suggests they are (typically at least) part of organised groups.
  4. How fast is satellite out of interest?
  5. Indeed, although always be careful about how you resolve the interrupted break-in quest for the Dozens as it's very easy to get locked out of their shop if you do it wrong.
  6. Paladins can of course be personally dedicated to a god, like anyone else in Eora, but as far as I'm aware there is no directly link between Bleak Walkers and Berath.
  7. Boeroer hasn't removed an eye from his character, he's just wearing Munacra Arret (a monocle).
  8. No, I'm not a degenerate. The 90s called, they want their pot hysteria back.
  9. So? Paladins are not necessarily any more religious than non-Paladins in Eora.
  10. No idea, I've never done it myself. You probably should though, since you did beat the (main) game. The fact that the Eyeless hunt you down afterwards is beside the point.
  11. I thought Josh himself said that if the Watcher died in the ending slides then they'd be dead i.e. you can't import them. I'd recommend playing the White March part 2 (it's good), but if you really don't want to then you can create an import state in Deadfire itself.
  12. Wait. What about the historical RPG? Bikes go back to the nineteenth century. Who says this isn't historical
  13. The typo here made me laugh, although if you do find a way to make games breed that would be great: we could start a selective breeding programme to produce the best games possible.
  14. Hence my preference for partial voice acting. Use voice acting to emphasise the important stuff and have the unimportant stuff unvoiced.
  15. You can argue whether or not the use of the Bleak Walkers in this situation is morally justified, but the actions of the Bleak Walkers themselves are evil. Executing prisoners of war is an evil act.
  16. Shields can only be equipped in your off-hand slot as of the current beta. You can equip a shield (even the same shield) in the off-hand slot of two separate weapon set but you cannot equip two shields in one weapon set.
  17. Nope. In the past I might have drank, but I have pretty much given up drinking these days.
  18. Agreed, very cool idea. Seems to fit perfectly with what we know of Wael as well.
  19. That's pretty much my understanding as well. Full plate on foot would usually be wielded with a polearm, on horse with a lance backed up with a mace/hammer/axe. Even when using a lance people wearing full plate in this sort of era didn't usually carry a shield, even though they had a free hand.
