Soulbound procs are to low at 10% - let's give OBS our feedback
I like the spell-striking effects. It adds a bit of variety to what the player can create themselves and makes for cool effects in game. St. Ydwen's Redeemer could simply have the overbearing property and a crushing lash, but to my mind it's a lot cooler when a Fighter wielding it periodically summons a pillar that does crushing damage and knocks enemies down. Obviously that's just a matter of personal taste though. I will agree that most of the WM1 ones were a bit underwhelming. Stormcaller is cool, particularly in the hands of a Ranger, and the Redeemer is great against vessels obviously, but the Greenstone Staff is fairly meh and I've hardly ever used Nightshroud. The upgrade process is sometimes annoying I'll agree, though I quite like having to go through it to unlock new properties of the weapon.

Specifically Detail Difficulty Settings?
For easy, normal and hard enemy stats remain the same, there are just more of them and possibly harder variants the higher the difficulty. For example, an encounter on easy might consist of a wolf and two young wolves, on normal it might be two wolves and two young wolves and on hard it might be two wolves and three young wolves (this example is entirely invented). The important thing to remember is the individual wolves and young wolves won't get stronger the harder the difficulty, there are just more of them. On PotD all enemies get +15 accuracy and deflection and, I think, a bonus to the health pool and other saves. This is where the real noticeable change in difficulty occurs. I have no idea what story mode changes, but I assume it's a sort of reverse PotD. Given your preference, I'd suggest playing on hard. Enemy stats remain balanced as normal, you'll just face a few more of them. I will warn you that if you are a veteran of IE games you might find hard mode quite easy, particularly once you get past act I, but if you're not opposed to playing the game more than once you can always play PotD on your next playthrough. EDIT: oh yeah, as Fenixp says on normal you can carry 3 camping supplies whereas on hard you can only carry 2. If you're not familiar camping supplies are a consumable required for resting in the wilderness or dungeons, so on hard you can rest less often before heading back to town to resupply. That said, I tended to find most wilderness areas and dungeons had one or more camping supplies lying around somewhere so I rarely felt this limitation (but I like to camp fairly rarely).

As KDubya says, in the hands of a Barbarian the Unlabored Blade will be more powerful than those options you describe.

White March I
What values did you enter for <name> and <start point>? I imagine the full command would look something like "Areatransition Caed_Nua West1" (without the quotation marks obviously). You may need to try a few different values for <start point> since not every map will have all those start points (I think). Oh also did you type the "iroll20s" command before trying the area transition command? I believe that is required first.

If you have no saves before the pit then the only option would be to use the console to teleport yourself to another zone. I don't know the exact console commands needed to do so but they should be on this page: http://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Console_command You'll need to find the in-game name of a zone to teleport to, I don't know them myself but I'm guessing they'll be pretty obvious (try something like "caed_nua" or "Caed_Nua"). Note that this will disable achievements. If you care about achievements I think your only option will be to start a new game.

[Deceptive]
It's also a little odd how people find out about your deceptive reputation. I mean, if you're a good liar, no one should know.

Brute Force Any Good?
JerekKruger replied to Grossol the Grim's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Isn't that Threatening Presence rather than Brute Force?

Tidefall Paladin Advice
I can now confirm that the Cape of the Master Mystic is still bugged, since Laeric went permanently invisible using it. I had to kill him with AoE spells.

Scratch my previous comments. I'll fight Lagufaeth all day if you get rid of god damn battery sirens

My humble request about music direction in PoE2
Yeah, I am going to throw my hat in with the "PoE's music is (mostly) excellent" camp, and I'll agree that the one thing that gets a bit tiring is the combat music.

Does Confident Aim Work ?
That is a really nice ability. I had assumed it was minimum damage getting through DR as well, since it doesn't show up on the character sheet. It being actual minimum damage is really good.

I met the ones involved in the gift bearer quest and I have the pet one, but other than that no nice lagufaeth no. I have noticed that circle of protection is a huge boon against them (and to be honest against most enemies). Also I took a break from the white march and completed act II. The joy if not needing strategy: I justclicked an enemy and it died whilst my group were basically invincible. Perhaps in I'll do what crucis does and visit the white march later.

I hate Lagufaeth. I have killed all the ones in WM1 but I fear there will be more in WM2. Bloody Lagufaeth!

That was, indeed, my reasoning. I haven't done Durgan's Battery yet so it should be fairly easy to re-level it.

So how do I ranger?
Well somehow I've been managing.

So how do I ranger?
"flanking someone is a legend that people tells on forums" I flank all the time on my current PotD playthrough. In fact I only started bothering about flanking for PotD because that -10 Deflection is so handy against the higher Deflection enemies (particularly at lower levels). Moreover Ituumak is often my main flanker, I have my other melee characters engage the main group of the enemy, then once the melee is properly started Ituumak runs around at flanks whoever needs to be flanked the most.

Yeah the dual Bittercut Bleakwalker looks like it come do some harm. Quick question: I just finished off attuning the Redeemer to my Paladin, but now I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better off in the hands of Maneha. Any thoughts?

Durance/Priest is irreplaceable in party? :/
At least one of the triggers for Durance's quest comes both after a certain event and requires you to rest with him in the party, so I guess that could be a problem.

Tidefall Paladin Advice
I think what Crucis said is partly true for me, though I quite like Paladin's in the tank/support hybrid role, and I really think they are comparable to Fighters as tanks in the current game (pre 2.0 Fighters were a lot better due to the old gluing with engagement strategy, now I think Fighters are best built as tank/damage dealer hybrids). For me though, part of why I wanted to play a damage dealing Paladin was because it best fitted the image of the character I wanted to play, namely a knightly type character wielding a great sword. The only other class that could have pulled that off for me would be the Fighter, but I just can't get excited about Fighters. Anyway, things go well for my Paladin. I was surprised by how easy the ogre attack on Stalwart was for a level 8 party on PotD, but I am quite nervous about facing lagufeth. I took a minor detour to Cliaban Rilag after picking up the Redeemer to level it (only place I could remember having spirits I hadn't done yet and now I'm going to do Russetwood. I think I'll leave Longwatch Falls till after Durgan n/a Battery this time.

Why there are no good arquebus from WM1&WM2 ?
Also of note, one of the unique crossbows and one of the unique arbalests have the speed enchant. This is a brilliant enchant on melee weapons, but given it has no effect on reload speed, only on recovery, it's fairly useless on ranged weapons, particularly ones with long reload speeds like crossbows and arbalests.

I think it's simply a matter of wanting to make a class do something it's not naturally designed to do. It's probably similar to people who want to make Rogue tanks I imagine.

I think that might be partly it hilfazer. I'm not sure it's explicitly that, but I imagine when Obsidian were coming up with ideas for Soulbound weapons guns simply didn't come up since they don't feel like the right sort of weapon for that. Might be wrong though.
