Okay, so I'm going to put on my "manager's cap" here. It looks like a "city cab" cap, if my new avatar is anything to go by... First off, handled wrongly you run the risk of instigating something - including creating a hostile workplace. Tread very, very carefully. Second - how do you know about her hospitalization, and how do you know she was put on a diet? Laws may differ where you are, but generally speaking here the only person who has to know WHY a person is out is a supervisor. Are you her supervisor? If she told you, then she feels close enough to at least tell you her personal information. If so you can, appropriately, ask her how she's doing. I would not bring up the diet. Let her lead the conversation. Ask her if you can help her with anything. If she did not tell you, and others did, you do not approach her with your knowledge. You can ask her how she's doing (in a general sense) but you're going to have to let her to tell you what's going on in her life before you can realistically comment. Again take the approach of she tells you about her hospitalization - "oh, that's terrible is there anything I can do to help?" Assuming she's confided in you, ask her what her doctors have told her, ask her if there's anything you can do to help her with what the doctor's have told her to do and above all do not pressure her, grill her, lecture her, scold her or otherwise tell her "I'm better than you, all you need to do is eat healthy like me".

Yeah, but Morgan Freeman says it, so that makes it alright.

Kindergartner Quest

Yeah, I'm confused, for some reason I keep wanting to put that kid on the other side of the teleport gap. -
Kindergartner Quest
Amentep replied to Kill0byte's question in South Park: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Unfortunately the only kid I've ever not gotten on the first day was the one in the sewer you can't get to until the second day - which makes me think they had to know you oculdn't complete it in one day (heck I suppose you might not even trigger it until day 2) so I think its a bug upon reflection. Still can't guess what you can do to fix it... -
Or it could be...you know...a personal taste thing.

What race will you play as?
Amentep replied to Barothmuk's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
More than likely I won't decide this or class until I have the game in my hand. I'll create whatever grabs me at that time. -
Eh, I consider the ability to choose dialogue choices, and upgrades to be part of the gameplay. But then I think anything in a video game counts as part of the gameplay if its a part that you interact with OR effects your interaction with other things. So I liked PST for the dialogue and the weird characters and the cool implementation of the setting and I liked IWD for the narrative, the ability to create and develop my own party and the ability to hack and slash my way through beutifully realized landscapes and pathways.

Ps3 resolution problem?
Amentep replied to HieiYYH's question in South Park: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Well, I don't know if it'll help to be honest, you can check if you see if you need it though - http://esupport.sony.com/LA/p/swu-download.pl?mdl=KDL32EX405&upd_id=8954&os_group_id=18 The description of the updates don't seem to really give a smoking gun (and of course, depending on when you bought the tv it might be up to date already). -
If you go through the woods and get "lost" your parents find you and send you to your room (and you can leave without issue in my experience). Also when a day "ends" if you try to wander around your parents will find you, send you to your room and that night will trigger. It sounds like the former is mistakenly triggering a flag that is associated with the later creating a game that thinks you're in day 2 despite you being in day 1. Since Mr. Burke was asking about which path you took into the lost woods, there may be some issue caused by how you get lost in the woods - do you remember how you got lost?

This weeks SHIELD was pre-Winter Soldier, next weeks is post-Winter Soldier.

I've been trying to remember the name of that game for some time as I was wondering what had happened with it. Thanks, I liked the monchrome idea and the set up seemed interesting. Betrayer, eh?

Tinfish - what country is your game for? Perhaps this bug has cropped up due to the censoring of the Abduction (I don't know, but the more information you can provide it might help if one of the Dev's visits).

Ps3 resolution problem?
Amentep replied to HieiYYH's question in South Park: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
My TV is older than that but I haven't experienced the problem you're having. I noticed that Sony released a firmware update in Brazil for the TV - you're not in Brazil are you? Couldn't really find much else out on the internet other than Bravia TVs seem to have issues with DNLAs, which I'm not sure was terribly helpful. -
I think you could argue its "sf-ness" based on the fact that its not a big SF concept show, and certainly a lower budget one considering its age and syndicated program status, but I was a fan of the Stahunter/Starhunter 2300 series. Bounty hunters on a re-purposed luxury space cruiser travel between earth and the outer planets (FTL is thought to be possible in the universe but hasn't been achieved) where various planets / moons are their own autonomous "states". A lot of it is "bounty of the week" stuff, but its fun enough. There is a through story in both seasons, though, about human genetic potential, alien DNA, the pursuit of FTL and familial drama (in both seasons people are searching for missing family members and trouble with relatives is a common occurrence) First season has Michael Pare' as the ships lead who is using the bounty hunting jobs to look for his kidnapped son; the second season follows the son looking for his missing father. Tanya Allen's Percy Montana and Stephen Marcus' Rudolpho are bright spots in both series/seasons.

Kindergartner Quest

Well it does seem strange I agree; I don't really think its intentional but I guess it could be. Unfortunately I'm not sure what else to suggest at this point. -
UFO Anal Probe Button Mashing

What, outside of rebalancing the game with the patch, are you expecting Obsidian to do? -
Does the sneaky squeaker at least cause the two soldiers to move from the fence? I found this particular thing difficult to do (often having to sneaky squeeker twice just to get both guards to move). Also if you move so far and the guards are still moving they automatically find you even if they're not facing you. That said, I've not seen anything else on these forums about this particular problem so haven't seen a workaround or direct suggestion. I assume you can't go to a slightly earlier save and see if it'll not glitch from that save?

UFO Anal Probe Button Mashing
Amentep replied to Princess Kenny's question in South Park: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I hear its harder on the PC than the console. On the console, I had to pretty much reposition my hand so I could slam the button as fast as I could with one finger to get it to work. I couldn't keep my hand like I was normally using the controller. -

Pleasantly surprised? What horrible predisposition did you hold to be pleasantly surprised by this movie? I'm glad you got over it? Movies from that era in general tell stories much better than movies from today do, as they're more about the characters than what we commonly find today. You usually cannot go wrong with any movie Stewart was in. Aside from The Philadelphia Story (which is a great movie), here are some recommendations with Jimmy Stewart: Rear Window The Man Who Knew Too Much Vertigo Rope You Can't Take it With You And some with Cary Grant: North By Northwest To Catch a Thief An Affair to Remember Arsenic and Old Lace His Girl Friday Notorious Bringing Up Baby All of the above are good to great movies in my opinion, many of which are considered classics and highly regarded by many. At least a couple of the above would be in my all time top ten list. I'd throw CHARADE on Grant's list and ANATOMY OF A MURDER and THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE on Stewart's. You should give the Nero Wolfe Mysteries a look see if you enjoy Timothy Hutton. The Nero Wolfe Mysteries are great - wonderful TV series that really evokes the books. Loved the repertoire acting troup approach. For my viewing, I watched Stephen Sommers' Odd Thomas, an adaption of the Dean Koontz story with Anton Yelchin in the title role. It was enjoyable B-movie fare (what much of Sommers' films evoke) and fairly well done (I'd complain they nerf the mystery a bit by not having a large enough cast, but still).

O Canada quest bug
Amentep replied to Poppernaut's question in South Park: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
You could keep a copy of your existing save so that when the patch comes back you can finish the game with that character/class, then restart the game with a new character, pick a different class and go on. The O Canada bug is pretty easy to miss if you know about it before hand. -
[PC] Stuck after alien abduction
Amentep replied to aoshi96's question in South Park: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Have you attempted to verify the steam files (going into steam to do so)? That seems to be a default check that is being asked for by the devs when they post with regard to the PC game.
