  1. I have decided to embrace my inner ice cream cone. I look lickably good with the new 'do and the shades. Note to Self: That sounded less dirty when I thought of that in my head before saying it out loud. Ice-cream hair doesn't work well with hats. Also, I think these shades really work for me. Note to Self: I'm in such an agreeable mood. Yes, I will do it - and look awesome in my shades and (unfortunately hidden) Ice-Cream Hair. Is the Supermutant asleep, or did someone kill him before I got here? Note to Self: Will loot the body regardless. Hmm, have I stumbled across some sort of weird Supermutant religious ceremony? Note to Self: Perhaps I shouldn't intrude on what is clearly a private moment between these two fellows? Pew-Pew! Note to Self: Pew! And then for good measure, I exploded everything. Note to Self: And yes I *did* walk away in slow motion as the explosion burned behind me.
  2. I actually like it as a concept. And it looks nice; reminds me a bit of ashstorms in Morrowind. Although I'd like there to be more consequences to it, like having to build a radiation shelter in towns to escape its effect and such. Right now you can get radiation while standing in a house, but if you sleep at that same house the storm will pass and you won't get any more radiation which was...weird.
  3. Constantine was born in what is now Serbia, from a dad who was from somewhere in modern day Macedonia/Romania/Bulgaria and a mom who was from modern day Turkey. At best most people with "Euro-centric" thinking would see him - in a modern context - as Eastern European. Not sure there is a fear of the hijab - per se. There are people who believe the hijab represents oppression of women in Islamic societies because it "hides" women in a way that is not required of the men therefore creating a disparity between the genders. And in the USA there is a natural distrust against people who hide their faces based on a history that included masked robbers and masked or hooded "vigilante" groups enacting whatever "justice" they saw fit to administer (see the Vigilante's in Barbary Coast/San Fransisco or the Ku Klux Klan in the south for examples). In fact there are a lot of long standing laws against hiding ones face in public in the US that were enacted to fight said groups and their ability to act with impunity (because of the lack of being able to identify perpetrators) that have to be suspended to honor the religious freedoms of those who choose to wear a hijab for religious reasons here (which probably causes its own problems with people who think this is a "privilege" they don't get). Add in the "America for people who act like Americans!" brigade and the mistrust and fear people have when encountering the unknown (and the US is huge so there are large segments of the population who've never met a Muslim, much less someone wearing a Hijab) and you probably have a basis - in the US at least - for why we are culturally struggling with the hijab and those who choose to wear it.
  4. Sanctuary Hills has yet to be attacked in my game. Mind you I over-did the defenses I think...
  5. Probably because adding 2 extra wildcard teams in the playoffs could mean that you have some really wonky possibilities. Considering there are 4 teams in each division in the AFC/NFC, you could have a scenario where each division could end up sending half their teams to the playoffs (1 champs, then 1 wildcards from each division) or you could end up with one division sending the entire division to the playoffs (4 champs, then 3 others from 1 division with 1 other team). You'd also have to add an extra week to getting the superbowl or lose the Bye week for the top two division teams. That said, I'm not crazy about the wild card system. We have 4 divisions, let the 4 division champs play. That said, the wildcard system as it currently is actually gives the potential to knock out a duff division champ for a superior team in another division (right now if we were heading to the playoffs this week, we'd end up with NFC East leaders Washington (5-7) playing NFC North's runner-up Minnesota (8-4) with odds being Minnesota would win).
  6. I don't recall specific verbiage about looking for an infant; there is a constant use of "mah baby!" but distressed moms will call even adult children their baby. That said a lot of the reaction stuff complaint for the previous thread is fair; companions seem to not really pay much attention to what is actually going on around them in any real strong way.
  7. Gogo's mimic power was awesome. Ultima => mimics Ultima
  8. I level ground all of them to level 99 fighting T-Rexes in the forest because I enjoyed it at the time. I...had a lot of free time on my hands... But realistically I liked everyone being kind of different and having weird abilities. Later FFs didn't seem to really have that unless they used the Job System.
  9. Always thought it was the best of the series. Mostly because I liked the party characters a lot.
  10. Krampus (2015) A family holiday get together manages to drive the Christmas spirit from one of their youngest, resulting in Krampus, not Santa, showing up for Christmas. Krampus brings with him monster toys, evil elves and a need to punish those who've been bad and/or who no longer believe in the Christmas spirit. The film is by the director of TRICK 'R TREAT, Michael Dougherty, and is in a mode similar to Gremlins in a way - its a comedy and a horror film. Lots of one liners zing (particularly from David Koechner and Conchata Ferrell who excel at the types of characters they're playing here) and the whole proceeding is handled rather well. It manages the trick that isn't often done of being a good Christmas film and a good horror film at the same time. Its not a perfect film (there's a couple of clunky family conflicts early on that could have been handled better) but it is, I think, a well made film.
  11. Doesn't make sense at all... How come Awwad bin Laden is son of Aboud Bin Laden is son of Ali Bin Laden...Ibn and Bin means the same that is "Son Of" Bin Ladin means "Son of Ladin" (for female it's Binti such as me Mizan Qistina Binti Ahmad Radzi Bin ismail Bin Ngah Lempong....Ngah Lempong is may great great grandfather...Binti means "Daughter Of") Nevermind... As I said, as near as I can tell and understand, the family took "bin Laden" as a patronymic western style family name. The same way we have Erikson (literally Son of Erik) as a family name in the west from the Icelandic tradition (example: Lief Erikson was the son of Erik "The Red" Thorvaldsson, who in turn was son of Thorvald Asvaldson, etc.) but has lost the literal meaning (ie not all Eriksons are the sons of Eriks).
  12. No his full name is Usamah Ibn Muhammad Ibn Awwad Ibn ladin, for an Arab he will be called Ibn Muhammad means "son of Muhammad" and not Ibn Ladin means "son of Ladin" in which that is his grandfather. Ladin have no meaning as i know and not even Arabic. If "Ala Ad Din" it makes sense meaning "faithful in religion" (or western called Aladin), or "Ad-Din" means "religious"...what's a "Ladin"? 'Usamah means Lion, RARELY for a Muslim given their children a name after an animal because the prophet don't like it For me, his name is just a made ups by someone...Al-Qaeda (Al-Qa'idah) itself don't make sense, it means "The Way", what way? There should be a chained with other words making it "The Way of........". It seems like "Do" in Japan also means "The Way", but it chained with something like Karate-Do, Ju-Do, Aiki-Do...for example, it should be "Al-Qa'idatul Islamiyah", or "Al Qa'idatul Muslimun", or "Al Qa'idatus Salafiyah"...or something like that. As I understand it, his father's name was Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden; the grandfather was Awad bin Aboud bin Laden. Great grandfather was Aboud bin Laden, great-great grandfather Ali bin Laden. Beyond that the "bin Laden" name appears to be potentially sourced by translations between multiple languages but used as a patronym by the family (meaning the last bin Laden isn't the great-grandfather but a reference to the family unit).
  13. Sweet. I'ma get my horny on in more ways than one. He seems like a noble guy, I wonder if I can corrupt him? Maybe if I sex him up I can get him to come over to the dark side. That would be awesome. I really should play the game again. It was fun.
  14. Can't say, didn't romance anyone in the one game I played. Internet seems to indicate you can. The internet also seems to imply you can romance both of them at once, though, so...not sure about that.
  15. BTW, Darkseid's Parademons around 2:00. Real or dream sequence - who knows?
  16. As I recall, "bin Laden" was a patronym taken from the family founder(?) named bin Laden from the village of Al Rubat in Yemen. So the full name is father/grandfather/patronym with the actual family name being al-Qahtani, as I understand it. Hmm...there is something fishy about that... "Farook and Malik had a six-month-old baby that they left with Farook’s mother before the shooting, according to a relative." Why would someone who just mareried, have 6 month old baby want to going martyr in a meaningless Jihad? Don't make sense... That's why a lot of people are wanting to wait for the investigation to finish; there are aspects of what happened that are similar to workplace violence rather than terrorism. In many ways its neither fish nor fowl - it doesn't completely match terrorism or workplace violence.
  17. Yeah I have Curie wielding a minigun, a rifle and a .44. Was fun when we tackled a glowing deathclaw.
  18. But are there hunky studs for me to sex up, right? Randval or Rhelmar, if you've met them.
  19. Everything has happened Except that.
  20. Ahh, I was just thinking you would seal them in, but I suppose it would be helpful to try different arrangements.
  21. Not that it proves anything one way or the other... http://chicago.suntimes.com/news-chicago/7/71/532869/uber-driver-shoots-man-who-allegdly-shot-group-logan-square-sidewalk http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/07/27/cincinnati-man-shoots-at-1-year-old-boy-is-shot-by-man-with-concealed-carry/ http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/local/Man-Shot-in-the-Chest-Inside-West-Philly-Barbershop-297176271.html http://www.wsbtv.com/news/news/local/man-holds-would-be-carjacker-gunpoint-until-police/nmL4Z/
  22. What are the magnets for?
  23. Brimstone, IIRC. In the comics, Brimstone was a creation of Darkseid.
