I don't fudge dice results playing solo tabletop so much as I play on an uneven surface and sometimes it takes a re-roll to get a legitimate roll not interfered with by outside physical influencers or to resolve situations where there is no clear "face up" on the die. Mind you trying to playtest a self-created character to see if they're balanced and comparable to the existing ones is a good cure for fudging (most) rolls. EDIT: As to the app, I find that I seem to hit hot/cold streaks comparable to real life with rolls so it seems fine to me. Sometimes you can't buy a success and other times you can't mess up a success not matter how you try.

I enjoy action RPGs and I did enjoy it. Still play it every now and then.

I think there are two statements being conflated into one. They've said they are aware of the feat problem in Quest mode and are working on a fix (which didn't get tested before the holidays so did not go into the patch that rolled out after the most recent update). That is in this thread. In a recent blog entry, they did indicate they weren't putting additional development time into Quest mode until Story mode is completed. At which point they will put their resources towards Quest mode and determine what they want to do with it. This was said in relation to how slow the development had went previously in adding the existing game scenarios to the app because they were in essence trying to update two different versions of the game at the same time and how the last two Story mode chapters had been added quicker because they had worked primarily on Story mode. I do not believe that the second statement is meant to take that they will not fix bugs on Quest mode as I doubt they want to release a product with a indefinitely broken aspect (if that was the case, they'd more likely put some time in removing Quest mode entirely and reintroducing it later, I'd think).

I had an account at the Codex, but its been so long since I posted I can't actually remember what it was (I think they revised the boards since then, so it may have been purged as inactive). What bad could happen?

I dunno, I didn't think it really needed more ambiguity than it had; I saw the ergot 'rot' as being more of a way to create multiple ways to interpret the story rather than an attempt to add ambiguity. The narrative is straight forward and regardless of how you interpret how we got there, where there was was always clear. I know a few people who didn't like The Witch, so it has its elements that people dislike.

Lost Card Feat
Amentep replied to Jerm's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Parts of the development team were out for the holidays. I'm sure they'll get to your inquiry as soon as they can, but there are a lot of inquiries for them to go through and usually only 2-3 come here (out of the 10 person team). Have you also emailed the official support at support@obsidian.net? -
Krank can't dream, therefore he needs the kids dreams so he can sleep. Great film, I need to re-watch it. Yeah the film isn't "Is there a witch?" its "The Witch" (or if you're being pedantic, "The VVitch") I thought the tension was really tied more to the fact that you know there's a witch out there, you know the family has broken with their faith (even as they see themselves as the pious ones) and so the source of suspense is whether any of them will be able to extricate themselves from what is preying on them. I quite liked the film even with its authentic period English dialogue. If you're looking for more questions than answers, I can suggest 1983's EYES OF FIRE. Slightly later time period in the US (early to mid 18th instead of 17th century) but similar ideas - people leave the protection of town due to religious difference and run afoul of dark things in the woods - but with a lot less explanation.

Tutorial/party selection possible bug?
Amentep replied to Trojusc1's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Ah...good catch, I'd assumed it was the left most that was sparkling (been too long since I had to build a party I guess but I thought that was the case when I created my party). If that doesn't work, if you can provide any of the gameplay questions found here - https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/86274-reporting-issues-useful-information-to-provide/ - it'll help the devs when the check the forums. -

Tutorial/party selection possible bug?
Amentep replied to Trojusc1's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Are you unable to put them in your party? With the same issue the characters are bouncing back even when you get them in the selection circle? If you're trying to use your experienced characters you are choosing from the experienced tab? -
Tutorial/party selection possible bug?
Amentep replied to Trojusc1's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
AFAIK dragging should work, but you have to be exact on getting the face on the circle or it'll bounce back (the same when you start putting characters at locations). -
Banished a blessing
Amentep replied to Schoonertorrent's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Weird, usually it will let you add a card from the 'box' when you don't have enough cards on hand to make a legitimate deck. Not sure why it wouldn't do that (but I'm relatively new to the game) -
Updating
Amentep replied to Coexist's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Moved to technical support (I thought I did that last night, but must have missed something) and closed in favor of existing threads in this forum. -
Unable to update
Amentep replied to Astartoss's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I suspect that the update is temporarily pulled until the 1.6.1 build that will address a number of game ending and bugs (like the losing cards one). The new build release should be imminent so I think the update ability will return. -
https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/90701-lost-cards-from-morgiv-the-enshrouded-post-here/ You may wish to post pfid's & card lists to the thread started by Stormbringer instead of thus one so they're all in one place. Also important he mentions that he can't see party grouping so if you have more than one version of a character he needs to know which one lost the card.

Updating
Amentep replied to Coexist's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I suspect they disabled the update pending 1.6.1 release. I know they said they had something planed for those with daily gold in this post - https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/90608-game-wont-start-after-patch-to-116/?p=1867438 -
game won't start after patch to 1.1.6
Amentep replied to Sir Real's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Ah, I see what you're saying; I think they clarified that in this thread the fix was done being rolled into more fixes but if you don't read this thread, you could be confused. With the post the fix will roll out tomorrow, hopefully the issue will be taken care of. -

Amentep replied to Sir Real's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
The text for 'best answer' doesn't say it's fixed. In fact it specifically says it's not fixed yet, they'll update us when it is fixed and the reason it's listed as answered so that it'll appear at the top of the thread. -

AFAIK, the definition of bisexuality is that one is attracted to both genders; my understanding is a practicioner of serial monogamy would still be 'bisexual' if their partners include men and women but in series. I suppose someone who started with hetero/homosexual relationships exclusively then switched to the opposite exclusively could be argued to have 'found' their sexuality in their lives and self described as their final relationship type. A strong argument, however, could be made they are bisexual and found a preference in one relationship type vs the other. Arguing the 'why' of their 'choice' of partners is irrelevant, though - if any of it could be considered relevant.
-
Maybe I'm misreading this, but I'd be wary of making a correlation between a heterosexual or homosexual person discovering they were bisexual and proof that heterosexuality or homosexuality could be 'cured'.

I don't think the build is out yet. Mind you I'm new to this stuff, but I don't see any update available yet, SPLOTR
