I'm not sure why, actually. If I open combat with some stealth attack, it doesn't seem to get the Drawing Cut bonus. I can put it in the offhand, but I'll lose the single weapon bonuses.

Another way to encourage mobs to reset might be to have the boots that let you leap. Perhaps you could find a place that makes the AI go "SO NOT gonna try to go there".

Try walking around the map to get out of combat. Generally when you are in combat it means there are mobs that want your head, but if none are coming it likely means they can't find a path to you. If you make that job too hopeless for them they might reset altogether.

I get a voyager fast and play the charge and board game. I don't mind sinking but buying, outfitting and crewing a junk is costlier.

No consequences that I know of. I avoid killing him unless I crave his flail 'cause it feels like he's important to the world.

I assume "Abet" is what ended up becoming Neketaka? Mainland pretty much means continent. The Deadfire Archipelago is just a bunch of islands. So based on that wording I would not expect to see Abet in Deadfire.

After you've created and saved a PoE1 history, it will be available for selection right before character creation. Once that choice has been made, it's final.

I'm wary about leaving more of the victory in the hands of the AI. Also, you can level your crew. Sailor experience is what gains them stars in professions, but they gain regular experience too, worth character levels. Either way, I do at least support getting to select your boarding helper crew. (GDI Obsidian, why do two linebreaks turn into one in half my posts)

Pretty sure a chant takes 6 seconds without BR and 3 with. Scales with nothing but your game speed.

Ain't a download thing. I checked that save again and then loaded a much fresher one (fresher in the sense of when the Watcher was created) and that one worked fine. On the Palm Sails note. As a charging voyager fan the extra speed would be nice but I'm also painfully aware of how low health voyager sails have to begin with. Coupled with the fact that I get Stormwind Sails for free I think I will just keep them.

Because that one is actually better with BR. Every 3 sec you get a new absorb, which is great if you're under pressure and the absorb keeps getting used fast. You can do it with whatever chant you like though. I was just overcome by the idea of an int dumping chanter and wanted to share it with the world ^^

No, because a troubadour has bonus linger duration A chant lasts 6 seconds. The linger lasts 3 seconds. Troubadours have 50% longer linger, so 4.5 seconds. 20 int is 50% increase, which is applied to the base 3 sec, so another +1.5 which makes it 6. Any other chanter kit, vanilla chanter included, would need 40 int to do it. (I can't swear on every mechanic I've posted in this thread but it works out roughly like that at least)

Getting to Ukaizo as an ally of a faction will definitely get you their achievement. You should get it earlier, but it might be needed with Principi. Their achievement was bugged on release (no longer) so IDK when you're supposed to get it.

Gotta go all the way. Helps if you should happen to have a hard save right after doing Ashen Maw. I used one such to explore all the endings get all the achievements.

BR doesn't affect invocation costs, being a Troubadour does. At low levels you might as well always have BR on because you only know one chant anyway. Later on you turn it on whenever you feel accumulating phrases is more important than buffing your party. Also some phrases, like the absorb one, actually work better with BR. Int affects linger only. It has no interaction at all with BR since BR removes linger It's very satisfying to do at least. A troub with 20 int will have 100% uptime on two chants. This thread gave me an idea now: - Multiclassed troubadour - Dump int - BR always on - Spam one chant, perhaps the absorb one - Get invocations that don't scale with int, like Seven Nights - Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuke
