  1. Well, everytime I've played the game normally I've gotten up to level 26 in the end. But there are certain experience exploits that you can try to increase your levels (they usually require a certain bit of...patience). One of the most common is the H'ssiss in the tomb on Korriban that spawn after you find the dead Jedi in one of the rooms. Clicking on the Jedi to see his remains will bring two H'ssiss to fight you, and this can be done infinitely for 400 XP per H'ssiss killed. I only gained 3 levels before I got sick of it. LOL
  2. I wanted to see what all the robes looked like so I got them through the giveitem cheat once. But from what I've heard, if you're a high level (ie. 30 and above) you can get some of the special robes from Fassa on Nar Shaddaa after helping him with the "Fassa's Freighters" quest. Personally I was annoyed that the robes all have alignment restrictions, and some of the Dark Side robes looked interesting, though I couldn't wear them on my flaming Light Side Jedi.
  3. I always giggle when you use him to set mines, because he does this sort of self-congratulating chuckle. Same thing with T3.
  4. I wholeheartedly agree. That music was so touching and exploring what was left of the enclave after the confrontation brought back a lot of memories from Kotor 1. I was so close to tears seeing it the way it had become, and then I searched through one of the corpses that remain and found "Bindo's Band" and then I cried for real. LOL
  5. I'm a girl so I wasn't attracted to her, but character wise she was alright. However, I think she was a little too weak to credibly be converted into a Jedi. Her whole "I don't want to be afraid anymore" speil on Nar Shaddaa made me want to quit the whole process.
  6. Well, to be fair, if you play LS and have a reasonable amount of influence with her, she's not so much a Sith anymore, hence the tanned skin. But if you're DS and her alignment matches yours, her skin becomes pale and veiny just like the rest.
  7. Maybe one of our resident artists could try their hand at an unveiled Visas?
  8. LOL Yeah that reminds me how disappointed I was when the female Exile appears wearing the dancer's outfit and there's not one word from any of your party members *coughAttoncough*. I mean, if that tacky jumpsuit with the little red boots got his engine running, how can you ignore the dancer's outfit!?
  9. No. I first watched the films back when I was 5 years old in 1992 and I knew full well that they were the first ones.
  10. I've always been partial to Kath Hounds. It's too bad that there were so few left on Dantooine, however. But their reappearance in Visquis' hideout and as Vogga's "body guards" was appreciated. I especially love that high pitched yelp as you finish them off.
  11. I think Hanharr's much more useful than Mira, personally. His Wookiee Frenzy and wookiee strength more than surpass any of Mira's feats or skills. Why do people have such an issue with him? I actually found his story to be quite fascinating and, it felt more like SW to have a wookiee walking around the ship.
  12. You mean the whole Jagi encounter? Well after talking to Canderous extensively about the Mandalorian wars and his experiences, taking him into any number of star ports will trigger one of his men from the wars to approach him with a challenge to the death. It has to do with a strategic decision that Canderous made that cost the lives of some of his troops, I believe. The man, Jagi, tells Canderous to meet him in the Dune Sea on Tatooine. Go there, meet up with Jagi, and there's a conversation between Canderous and him. You can Force Persuade Jagi not to fight Canderous, or you can simply urge Canderous to deliver the final blow. Either way, Canderous is very affected by the exchange and begins to question his battle ethic. Like I said earlier, however, this conflict seems resolved by the time you hit the Star Forge.
  13. Yes, but they're referring to the fights between the Exile and several handmaidens at once in the Telos hidden academy. The best I ever did was DS and I got it down to two before my medpacs ran out.
  14. That's true, but I just finished another DS K1 ending this morning and when speaking to him onboard the Star Forge, he revealed that he wasn't done fighting yet and that he was with me until the end. I suppose he got over the Jagi confrontation pretty fast.
  15. It made sense in my game where Revan had been set as a DS female that Canderous' personality was so...defeated...in Kotor 2. Kreia really touched a nerve in him when she gave her analysis of Revan abandoning him, and if you have enough influence to hear his side of things, he seems genuinely hurt and betrayed by it all. I'm not really surprised then that his attitude lacks the fire that he had in K1. The same thing goes if Revan was LS as well, same feelings of abandonment. Canderous was one of Revan's strongest supporters whether you went light or dark, it's gotta sting a bit when your idol sends you packing.
  16. Who really cares. Enough of this Revan generalization crap.
  17. I love Canderous...but not in the same way as Atton or Carth. He is without a doubt, however, one of my ultimate favorite characters in the Kotor franchise. I only wish that after a point in the game he would've removed his helmet and revealed himself. I miss him.
  18. I chose Revan, but it's difficult to say for the mere fact that the Exile's stats are more powerful than Revan's. The chance to hit and level of damage are also vastly better than Revan's. However, one must take into account the fact that the Exile could reach levels of 26+ whereas Revan in Kotor 1 was restricted to level 20.
  19. I thought I read somewhere that all you get is 750 XP points. That's less than you get for killing two Hssiss (please someone correct the spelling of this). Not worth the items you need just to stay alive.
  20. Wow. You just lost all credibility with this post.
  21. Oh come now, Luke pretty much stopped whining after the Battle of Yavin. In ESB and especially ROTJ he was well on his way to becoming a strong Jedi Knight. He confronted his ultimate foe not once, but twice (even after losing his hand and hearing one of the most startling revelations in movie history), and his prowess with the Force throughout ROTJ was "impressive", to quote Vader in ESB. He carried himself with dignity and skillfully exposed Vader's doubts about himself and the possibility of redemption. I also don't fully agree with the assessment that Vader intentionally gave Luke the upper hand in their final battle. He wanted Luke to turn to the DS and manipulated Luke's affection for his friends and Leia to rouse those feelings of rage within him. I don't think that he expected Luke to best him, however, but that's just my opinion. Don't sell Luke short!
  22. There are so many brilliant artists on these forums! Great job with your stuff, and the first one with Atton's pazaak obsession made me LOL. It perfectly captures how I felt when that was the only thing you could do with him.
  23. There are definitely ways of engaging in that confrontation with Malak and not earning DS points. All you need to do is select the options that show that you regret the choices that you made during the Mandalorian wars and that you see the Jedi Council's wisdom was "correct". Repent for your past actions, and do not join Malak when he asks you to. You shouldn't get any DS points for doing this. If you do, perhaps you're suffering from a bug in the game.
  24. Hey now, Star Trek and Star Wars can coexist peacefully. I agree with the mindset that if it wasn't in the films, it's not canon. Therefore, much of the Database shouldn't be taken as gospel and the same goes for whatever they choose to write about the Kotor universe. Obviously they can't have 4 different entries for each scenario and character, so some shortcuts are bound to be made. Unless George Lucas arbitrarily decides that he's going to allude to Darth Revan in Episode III and decide once and for all what alignment and sex she/he was, Darth Revan will remain whatever we want him/her to remain.
  25. Anyone who says that Greedo shot first is not a true Star Wars fan or is too young to have ever viewed the original (and superior) versions of the Classic Trilogy. Han shot first. End of story.
