  1. I'd love to see another expansion, but realistically, one has to only look at the Steam achievement stats to see that only a very small percentage of POE players even started the White March. So I'm afraid another expansion could be unfeasible financially.
  2. It's a fantasy world, it's not as if modern British voices are somehow more appropriate there than American ones.
  3. Gotta be Llengrath for me. After quite a few attempts on normal difficulty, I just gave up and finished her in Story Time mode.
  4. In my case, Maneha offered to sacrifice herself and I allowed her to.
  5. I mean it's because Alpha Protocol bombed out with a truckload of entirely deserved criticism after a bad job on Obsidian's end, but alright. I, for one, loved Alpha Protocol.
  6. Thanks! That's what you get for trusting Google.
  7. Elspeth Eastman played Calisca.
  8. D'oh! Serves me right for not checking the wiki I founded. :D
  9. I'm trying to google some of the names and see if their roles in Pillars come up. So far I know that Orion Acaba is the narrator.
  10. According to the credits, the cast is: Orion Acaba Valerie Arem Edward Bosco Brandon Cole Elspeth Eastman Richard Epcar Todd Haberkorn Mela Lee Matthew Mercer Dave B. Mitchell Liam O'Brien Tara Platt Sam Regal Cindy Robinson Gigi Sarroino Patrick Seitz Stephanie Sheh Michael Sinterniklaas Chris Smith Maybe the devs could tell us who voiced which major roles?
  11. He's not listed in the credits, so no. Unfortunately the credits don't specify which actor played which role(s).
  12. Thankfully, the reception of the Polish translation has been positive so far (there have been some small errors, but hopefully they'll be fixed in future patches).
  13. No idea about German, but I can confirm that at least the Polish translation was done by real humans, including myself.
  14. You'll have more luck with the correct info being added to the wiki soon than the guide being corrected.
  15. I'm sure there will be a mod that removes them eventually.
  16. Here's a full list of available pets: http://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Pet
  17. There are four cat pets: Orange Tabby, Calico, Black and Mix.
  18. Themes Sawyer defends serve a narrative purpose in the game. Here it's just a random joke in a backer memorial.
  19. "In support of Obsidian"? The only statement from someone from Obsidian so far has been that "it's hard to catch everything". Personally, I'd let Sawyer decide what fits in his game and what doesn't. I doubt he read most of the backer memorials himself.
  20. Personally, I think Obsidian should have asked the backers to make the memorials consistent with the setting in the first place. But then again, they probably had too much work on the game itself to check them all, e-mail everyone to change theirs etc.
  21. Judging from Josh's quote, he wouldn't have approved it if he read it before release. I doubt most of the lead devs read these backer texts at all.
  22. The difference is that that was BEFORE the game was out. Now the game IS out. People bought the game. And people bought the game expecting all the content offered. Most of the people wouldn't even read the backer memorials, so it's not as if a vital part of the game will be removed.
  23. Obsidian was already "censoring" other backer memorials because they didn't fit the world they created. They are now free to decide that this one doesn't even though it slipped through the cracks, and remove it after the game's release. They can ask the backer to write a new one or refund him. And I wonder if you'll call *me* an outsider too, even though I've been here from the start?
  24. I'd say this should be pulled myself. The backer can always be asked to submit a substitute text or be refunded.
