Obsidian's another unannounced title?
I very much hope it's not yet another D&D game.

How has this game done financially?
European players are more likely to be influenced by sites and magazines in their own language than by major American gaming media, though. Anyway, the American/European divide reminds me somewhat of the reception of The Witcher. Most of The Witcher's sales were also in Europe, and it didn't sell very well in the US. Still, it sold overall more than 1 million copies, which is pretty damn good for a PC-only game. Same with other European RPGs, like Risen, which also has a similar difference on Metacritic between PC and 360 version.

Yup, Metacritic has a very American bias. Most European reviews, especially non-English ones, which Metacritic rarely covers, have been far more positive. I expect the sales to be more similar to ones of European RPGs, like The Witcher, than to American AAA titles, but I doubt it will be an actual flop. And citing the 30k figure as indicative of anything is silly, considering what the figure actually represents (console sales only in a largely PC-centric market in just 2 days).

65% on Metacritic for 360. It's 75% for the PC.

Heck
He doesn't give a random name, he gives the name of Wen Shu, the guy he wanted to use the dry cleaner on.

company haters
Actually, no, it's not "obvious" that it's a hoax. For me, it sounds pretty damn likely to be a real dev, given that several Alpha Protocol devs were indeed fired and have an axe to grind, and that much of the design that they created for Alpha Protocol was scrapped. Now, whether the person in question is right in their assessment of Alpha Protocol and its development history, is an entirely different matter.

Heck
Did you know you can get a Heck ending?

Fallout: New Vegas
There is a basic value also in Fallout 3, based on which the actual prices are calculated, depending on your skill.

Fallout: New Vegas
Funny that so many people are praising Fallout 3 graphics and complaining about Alpha Protocol ones, considering for example how much better character faces look in AP. They should at least have custom-made faces for major characters instead of making all of them in facegen.

Steven Heck pic
Too bad he doesn't wear the "I'm a Frito Bandito" t-shirt in-game.

Mina Tang...
I didn't trust her, but I did save her.

Heck has crackpot e-mails, actually.

Alpha Protocol Wiki
Well, I'm counting on others to contribute all possible info to the wiki, given that there's lots of things that change depending on how you play the game.

I executed Sis because she didn't talk when I told her to talk or else. Didn't know she was mute!

Alpha Protocol Wiki
I set up a basic mission layout (going to add infobox too): http://alphaprotocol.wikia.com/wiki/Bug_Al-Samad_Airfield Any comments, e.g. what else should a mission page have?

Bug AirField
Yes, you need to replace one of the existing gadgets with the EMP grenades.

The Reviews
VATS is not turn-based. Not anymore than e.g. Chain Shot skill in AP.

The Reviews
How so? New Vegas is also real-time, just like FO3.

Is there a way to abort throwing of grenade?
What about mouse and keyboard, though?

Is there a way to abort throwing of grenade?
Yeah, if there is a way, I'd sure like to know too.

Bug list in the wiki
Er, by the time you posted it, the tech forum was already there.

The Reviews
Unfortunately, it does sound true to an extent (as in, at least the guy being a disgruntled ex-employee sounds consistent with what I know).
-
The Reviews
Sounds pretty believable to me (at least the fact that it's a disgruntled ex-employee sounds believable).

Bug list in the wiki
There hopefully will be one soon.

Bug list in the wiki
Given that there's no tech forum yet, I think it would be a good idea to fill out the bug section at the Alpha Protocol Wiki: http://alphaprotocol.wikia.com/wiki/Alpha_Protocol_bugs Please list the confirmed bugs (preferrably only repeateable ones, and not one-time glitches). Hopefully the devs will also visit the page.
