Actually, Gamespot did have a 6/10 review up but they took it down for whatever reason.

Well, they did to an extent. Mass Effect is a better shooter than AP, though (while not as good of an RPG) - this is what Polish gaming site Polygamia that I used to write for said in their (quite favorable) review. Metacritic has an American bias, though.

The US reviewers focus on TPS aspects, while EU ones focus on RPG ones.

Well, it's supposed to be a classic pack. There's nothing classic about it aside from the number on the back.

I guess so. Also meh because even though it's supposed to be from Vault 13, it uses the FO3 Vault Suit and the FO3 10mm pistol. If they actually made the classic ones, that would be pretty nifty.

True, but it's a good marketing ploy. I remember people complaining about the absence of collector's edition bonus items on Bethesda's blog and forums, and even on The Vault. Yeah, but mostly console players. On a PC, with mods, they're pretty pointless.

As for the pre-order bonuses, meh. On the PC you'll be able to mod these in anyway.

They could just record with a few known actors like Auberjonois in California and the rest with their usual actors in Maryland, though.

Not really, he's not an A-list movie actor like Liam Neeson. And unlike Neeson (and like McDowell), he actually does have extensive voice acting experience. But yeah, I expect many regular Bethesda actors to be there as well.

The Witcher initially had a DVD-check, but it was removed in the latest patch. And it requires online activation of the game only to install patches.

Knowing Bethesda, FNV's voice acting will probably be much worse.

The hundreds of endings are only there if you count e.g. your appearance changing based on the gender and race in one of the slides, etc.

Yeah, but given that this backstory for Caesar in VB was written by Chris Avellone and J.E. Sawyer, I'm pretty sure it will stay that way in FNV too.

Did you know that (at least in Van Buren) Caesar (the founder of Caesar's Legion) was a former Follower of the Apocalypse?

I'm not actually running it, PastramiX is the main admin. I'm just helping out (as part of my job, actually, since I'm now a member of Wikia's gaming team, although in this case it's also a game I'm personally interested in ). My main personal project is still The Vault, though, although I'll certainly play Alpha Protocol and contribute to the wiki as well.

Well, maybe at least Josh will be able to reuse some of the ideas in a future project, like they are now reusing some of the Van Buren ideas in New Vegas.
