  1. Wouldn't you want enough deflection to not get crit at least? Also how much of your Endurance does each hit heal you for, or is there a threshold where you need to have a certain number of guys hitting you before your endurance becomes a nonthing?
  2. They need to allow gloves to get damage mods but only for Unarmed attacks, as though they were weapons.
  3. This particular Barbarian build suffers from a lot of multi-stat dependency. Only actual testing will yield the proper attribute loadout IMO. It's hard to theorycraft it with just gut instinct.
  4. So since Wizards' Grimoires have up to level 10 spell tiers in them, given the current rate of spellcasting progression, I'd assume that the expansion(s) are going to take us to level 20 at least. Imagine all the builds that suddenly become possible at that cap. :D
  5. The Kind Wayfarer bonus does actually heal everyone in the party that's in range, and makes for a good offheal/support dps hybrid.
  6. Basically it'll last through one other rest and then expire if you rest again. Assuming time passes as you're playing, I'd say 24 hours?
  7. He still lacks utility compared to the Bear until they fix his stats. I'm assuming they're going to build him with mediocre might but high Dex.
  8. Because you have no idea what you re talking about. its more like the only party member you dont need to babysit, completely autonomous. As long as you're cool with sleeping off your Inn bonuses every five minutes.
  9. Exactly. An enemy that's laying on the ground is the equivalent of 9999 deflection against that enemy.
  10. Apparently you can multistack though, try it with a Blunderbuss.
  11. The guy that mentioned that said it doesn't show up in the combat log, but if you test it on one of your own party members you can see what it does to their health before and after.
  12. The entire Ranger kit is pretty derp. The class IMO deserves some attention from the developers. Also please give the Wolf some stats, all 10s is crap. Also, Protip: If Rangers' niche is as a Melee Tank , then the class is definitely in need of some TLC.
  13. Has anyone tried upgrading The Dissappointer to Fine to see if it still overwrites the crappy debuff after 1.03/hotfix?
  14. Cipher with Hunting/War bow is pretty baller, although I think for melee I would go dual spear/dagger/stiletto. Single battle ax if you're Hearth Orlan.
  15. It's raw damage, and also is not limited to just your bare hands. You could also couple it with Turning Wheel and if you're a tanky fire godlike, all of the above damage would apply to your retaliation.
  16. The reason for barbarian is because retaliation and the Fire passive all proc Carnage. It's more of an offensive tank build, with the proper talent setup, you run your tank in, then suddenly the second he hits 50% endurance the enemies all spontaneously combust.
  17. I've been pretty partial to dual tanks. If you load your dps up with ranged/aoe classes and put them all in clothing you pretty well shred things.
  18. Does it get Carnage on spell casts (from scrolls with Lore) ? Carnage only procs on effects and attacks that count as melee in the game's coding. Then Shocking Grasp apparently counts as melee. Gonna test the rest. Oh great, so basically any melee-range spell would proc it, too. There's a second-level Druid spell that applies a DoT and also gives you Draining. That would actually be pretty ridiculous for a Barbarian, especially because DoTs do damage on application so you'd increase your damage across the board with it, have DoTs running, and be gaining health from the drain proc effect.
  19. Does it get Carnage on spell casts (from scrolls with Lore) ? Carnage only procs on effects and attacks that count as melee in the game's coding.
  20. Are you using it in combat on a guy that's been knocked out (0 Endurance) or dead (0 health)?
  21. Nah, he always dies to the biawac. But, yeah, it's not hard to walk out of the intro dungeon with 3k copper.
  22. Depends on how you define "damage". A wizard's presence in a group is arguably better than just another source of raw damage. Even at that, even if their early level damage spells are somewhat lacking, there are 6 levels of spells. For instance, every time a wizard CCs an enemy, or reduces its damage capability, or increases its vulnerability, those are all equivalent to damage or healing by themselves depending on which other classes you have in the party to monopolize.
