Alright so they took away Ovechkins goal but what a great game! The Caps came on like gangbusters! That Glen Hanlon really has everybody working right now. Its just too bad he couldn't do it with the superstars last time out. On top of that you have the Sid-makeyoulookfoolishandwatchmethreadthisononeknee-Crosby possibly making Ovechkin the biggest victim of the lockout.
On top of that you have Jaromir Jagr getting a goal plus hitting the post at least four times before netting the winner in the shootout. It's really weird seeing him be the first person in on the forecheck and also being one of the first men back defensively. Maybe the new NHL is Bizarro hockey.
And to beat that Pavel Demitra puts me back in the running in my hockey pool ( he and Frolov are in both my teams) with four assists tonight.
I'm not trying to be ignorant Mkreku but what an absolutely great night to have a hockey package from my satellite provider. You know the 186 seems like money well spent each and every year... :D
And my favorite sportscaster for an American team has to be Rick Jeanneret from the Sabres: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_Jeanneret
It looks like Sid the Kid has the edge over Ovechkin tonight. At least after the first, that is. Sid has a goal and is plus 2 while Ovy has no points and is minus 1.
Plus Sergei Gonchar was reactivated from the IR today and he has a point!! (w00t) (w00t)
and of course the Caps score two in a few minutes ( Ovechkin to boot) just to make me look bad
Jedi Hunter to make your font and size alterations work you need to add something like then
And thats a wicked cool new avvy Drakken. James Remar and teh Warriors for the win!!!
well that didn't work, I meant ,
My music player is on schuffle right now. The song in question reminds me of the last time I went to the peelers in town about 10 years ago. One of the dancers (yeah right) was gyrating to this song and its forever stitched in my memory now.
Shakespeare's Sister: Stay
I remember the New Universe as well. Wasn't Justice the guy who wore had purple clothes underneath one of those long jackets? Man that whole line was really bad.
Plus the lead singers name is 'Tortelvis' how cool is that. He plays fat Elvis really good.
Anyhoo I'm listening to 'the first cut is the deepest' by Cat Stevens. A song that should never be covered again due to extreme bastardization. I think its one of those songs where you can't touch the original, so don't even bother trying.
I missed a good chunk of the Oiler game because of work ( hey thanks for not giviing me any days off for two weeks ****) but what from I saw Alanschu was right. It was an ugleh win.
But two points is two points. To quote thepixiesrock:
Am I right fellas?
You don't have to, I still haven't finished the first one yet and it doesn't take anything away from XML2. Of course, I still don't know what Jean Greys level 30 attack looks like, but hopefully I will soon.
That's way cool Laozi. Post a pic of it if you have one!
So here's todays question. Would you pay either 3.1 mil for Peter Sykora or 2.5 for Todd Marchant?
since there was not a lot going on this tonight in hockey ( except for Jagr adding six points in two games) here's something I shamelessly stole from another forum
