If its any consolation my Manager at work stands to lose 30% of his bonus because he won't complete the 'employee diversity' handbook. Everyone fills out the same sort of questionaire that you mentioned, except in Canada we have a few more minority groups on our listings. Anyway if you fill out Canadian its no big deal, but if you're last name is Lee and you don't mark down that you're from a minority group the company might not be in compliance ( I hate using that word when I'm not on the clock!!) with its government standard. Hence they tie it in to the store managers bonus to make sure it gets done. To which he refuses to walk up to Mr. Lee and say ' are you a member of an ethnic minority?' . Its one of his good points.

Well apparantley this fellows grandmother had all of her documentation, and came to Canada as a child. His family found this out after trying to figure out her heritage after her death. He mentioned it once and then didn't speak of it for ages. He ended up quitting but I ran into him a few years later and he said he had just gotten his claim, which worked out to be about 8 grand or so american I think. Who knows, maybe you're related?

Thats odd. A fellow I worked with about a decade ago found out he was realted to pocahontas as well, and he actually found out he was getting some money out of it.

I saw the highlights of the Leafs game, Tellquist looked mighty sharp. But what suprises me the most is that Buffalo is 8-1-1 in their last ten games. They absolutely gritted a victory out of Montreal tonight. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention that the Oilers won tonight. I won't boldface it because unfortunately the Flames did as well. So Calgary is one point behind Vancouver and The Oil are two points away from the Flames. Northwest division for teh win!!!

I'd say that Marco Sturm is more of a catch than Stuart. He's potted seventy goals ( 21,28,21) in the last three seasons. The knock on him is that he's not too physical and he still hasn't potted 50 points in a season yet. Stuart spent a few games watching from the press box last season, and likes to pull an U.U.P. (thats Ulanov Under Pressure) when things are tough. But then judging by this it looks like the two of them are off to a great start in their new town so far.

I'm wishing Christmas was in the summer so that all my shows weren't on hiatus. First Smallville, now Lost, what's next? No more Bones/House on tuesday nights? And I didn't really care too much for last nights episode except for the Mike/Eko/Locke bits. TBH, I don't really give a flying monkeys' ass about what Kate did anymore. I found her reasoning lame and the whole thing just brought me down. Maybe if that horse would have run through the camp and trampled Charlie maybe things would have been better...

With my Bell Expressvu subscription and the extra buck a month for the newfie feeds I get Lost at seven o clock, although tonight it was 6:55. Its on the early ABC feed, as well as the CTV feed(s) as well. Then at ten it repeats. Its like that for most of the major networks.

I'd say both of the players mentioned can easily shift to the wing. Who's the top wingers for San Jose?

Thats a great question Alanschu. Lowe could have traded Peca straight across with maybe one of the rookie d-men and only came out about a million more against the cap.

I wonder which player is going to slip to the wing. I might as well forget about getting the maximum mileage out of the Glen Murray/Thornton picks in my pool. San Jose gave up a fair bit, but hell, its Joe Thornton. Maybe Marleau will finally break the 57 point barrier now.

Well forget that ****, because TSN just reported that Joe Thornton was just traded to the Sharks for Marco Sturm, Brad Stuart and somebody else!!! And after waiting two full minutes for the page to load ( it was just linked to NHL.com ffinally), here is the story on the trade.

Wow!! I just got OWNED!!! And noticing that the big green is around, I hope that whatever happens on tonights episode that Charlie somehow finds a way to die/ get dismembered/ and or eaten by teh monstah.

My bet is that Petr Sykora will end up with the Sharks.
