You know, I was pretty bored this morning so I thought I'd test drive my NHL2006 with my XBOX live. Is it just me or is it silly to expect the other player to actually change their lines at some point in the match? What's the fun in the game if you play the whole game with Morrison/Naslund/Bertuzzi or Datsyuk/Zetterburg/Yzerman? I had about two decent matches out of eight and my record was a pitiful 1-7.

Jesus did any of you see the highlights from the Atlanta/Tampa Bay game? Ilya Kovalchuk scored a natural hat trick!! Plus another goal to boot. A few of them were from just over the blue line! And I laughed at all those people who picked him in the pool when he wasn't signed yet...

I can remember playing Red Alert on dial up on my old PC against my buddies from work. That was pretty cool at the time, along with the first Gabriel Knight game and Warcraft. Red Alert was my favorite of the three though.

Don't be too kind, Surrepflatus, she looked more like a worn out leather handbag. At least she had a better showing than she did last year on Celebrity Blackjack. Ugh. And as far as I know, Brainiac was a villain from Krypton. I don't think Clark was infected with silver kryptonite. It was actually a piece of Brainiac himself that made him act all loopy, hence him reabsorbing the stuff from the so called 'meteor rock' I'd heard someone was going to bite the bullet this season but I never thought it would be

I've been overly critical of this show so far this season. With the exception of Lois in a bikini/bathing suit, I haven't really found too much going on that's really interesting. But tonight's episode was by far my favorite this season ( although Lois wasn't in it ) what with all the Clark going slightly insane and the Brainiac subplot coming into the foreground. I wanted to post that I still think that Braniac is Zod and this show confirmed it but the last scene with the transmutation of the rock thing made me think otherwise. And next weeks episode looks like it's going to surpass this somehow!

Did any of you actually hear the shot? I watched the last five minutes again last night, and when Sayid fell and was screaming her name I still couldn't quite tell if the gunshot was fired. Hopefully they give Ana Lucia the same treatment they gave Jin in the beginning of season one.

Speaking of Tony Hawk, I was listening to 'Blitzkreig Pop' by the Ramones on my way home for lunch. Thats featured in one of the games although I can't remember which one.
