Remember "with objective XP no one will do combat anymore, all enemies will be avoided"?
Unlocked: 4 Apr @ 3:15pm Super Murderer Complete the game killing 1200 or more creatures and NPCs. Yeah I didn't get less than 175.

Pilgrim's Crown (for Fine enchantments) a limited resource?
Why is "exceptional" worse than "superb" again?

Lord Raedric - second time
Yup, trigger the quest at the inn with the elevator amongst the tribal folk. Killing him will change the epilogue, I don't think there's a third option.
- [Bug] Sura's Copper Plate's Retaliation(melee) property is affecting some allied spells

Dat songbird quest tough
The things you could say to him and how they described his struggles eating the birds, funniest writing in the game for me. Much better than if you just talk him out of it.

Killing backer NPCs for loot causes reputation loss now?
Back THIS! *kicks shin*

Stronghold question - prison
I told my dungeon keeper to "beat them off". After that they started escaping.

Regarding why 2D CRPGs died out in the first place
Pillars is a combination - fully 3D characters with 3D lighting effects on a 2D background that's been painted over and enhanced far beyond what an average gaming computer could render in real time. Gotta keep those 2D backgrounds, IMO. Otherwise it completely loses the "IE" feel. Though they really could do some work on background transparency. Can't count how many times I'm fighting in the forest and the entire battle is obscured by trees. Obsidian pls. Yes please. No sense beating around the bush.

Sick Goblin in Endless Paths
I assumed he was hungover. I left him to his misery.

So is this game actually good?
I backed it low tier and got more than my money's worth. Even if I don't agree with plenty of their design decisions such as real time with pause vs. turn based. I can't enjoy the spectacle of battle if I have to pause it every few seconds. Also, to release it without proper pathfinding / combat AI was a mistake, imho. Plenty of times enemies didn't aggro properly and I had to fight a big mob 3 times because some of them didn't react. My chars would stop attacking for no reason, they'd refuse to initiate attacking for no reason and they'd get stuck on a pebble trying to go around a teammate. The close quarter battles were painful when the graphics painted a 3 man wide doorway but the AI would only let one guy through at a time.

multiple spell copies?
Perhaps, but that wouldn't change anything. If you can cast 3 level 4 spells it doesn't matter how you paste them across your spell book, you only get to cast 3 level 4 spells.

Hidden Items and Stealth made me stop playing the game...
I find that hidden stuff isn't hidden enough. I run around in turbo scout mode and reveal everything in no time, there's no chance you're gonna miss stuff unless you simply don't scout. Remember that ring in BG1 you had to mouseover to find in the wilderness? Remember getting loot by pickpocketing ghosts? Yeah, there's none of that here.

Twitter outrage over the "[spoiler]" quest
Do you have insider informations from SJW circles? Tumblr and other social media where they usually operate? Noone who circulated any outrage to the limerick has said anything about this. Really, nobody cares. Tell me about your friends, the warriors. I want to learn more about their ways. They matter.

The missing point of yours being that Obsidian shouldn't have done anything at all. That is up to them and Firedorn, not any of us. As long as their choice is visible it's reasonable to expect visible opinions about it. They are entirely judged by what they do or refrain from doing. No one claimed that it wasn't their choice, just that they chose poorly.

Twitter outrage over the "[spoiler]" quest
So you are basically stealing the case from the victim's own hands in order to serve your own motivations, thank you for admiting this here. What? The "victim" was never a victim at all before Obsidian let him be. Had they responded properly to begin with(not at all, ignoring another idiotic tweet like they do with hundreds of others) there wouldn't be an issue. The only "victim" would have been some delusional twitter poster that got ignored. The author doesn't matter. The intended meaning of the joke doesn't matter one bit. If anything it was more "lore" than tons of the other ones still in the game. Obsidian should have entirely ignored this whole ordeal.

Twitter outrage over the "[spoiler]" quest
Why? The limerick was not their property. It was, it was in their game, just as any other text is in their game. It's only there because they included it, willingly. The entire game is their property, everything in it.

Twitter outrage over the "[spoiler]" quest
Why would people start by assuming that it was fake? Was the bull**** anti-tombstone movement fake? Assuming it's fake is one thing (albeit these days, always assume fake until double-checked is my own policy). But the knee-jerk, Obsidian is RUINED reactions in this thread within minutes of the image being posted are quite frankly pathetic. You'd think people would be more level-headed, but nope, just as guilty of being easily outraged as those they denounce. If Obsidian laughed off the first case of offense I would agree with you, they didn't. You'd have a point if they actually did that. Instead, they calmly asked the author what he wanted done. He replaced the offending message with one making fun of the whole thing. See the keywords? Calm. Cool. Acting, not overreacting. That's how you actually solve problems. In this case, both Obsidian and the author acted far more maturely than those who were offended by the joke and those who were offended they were offended. I trust Obsidian to do the right thing far more than I trust those two glorified internet lynch mobs. The missing point of yours being that Obsidian shouldn't have done anything at all.

How about you give some credits to Firedorn's own words instead of denying him any kind of honesty in order to keep justifying your anger toward Obsidian? How long will you keep holding your grudge against the devs when the very author of the lines you're pretending to defend said things didn't happened the way you are presenting them? What are you referring to? this? http://www.orderoflaibach.com/blog/screw-you-firedorn-lightbringer The author has no say in this anymore unless he had come forth to Obsidian, BEFORE any of this on HIS OWN VOLITION and requested to have it removed/changed. Anything after that and he is a non factor. After that it's all principle.

Really obsidian?
It's social criticism, hollowborn represent anyone being born after 1990.

All the backers who don't think an innocent joke should be removed? Personally I found URL's to be much more unacceptable than any joke.

Twitter outrage over the "[spoiler]" quest
Why would people start by assuming that it was fake? Was the bull**** anti-tombstone movement fake? No one can find the tweet. So it's either a fake or it was deleted. Either way it's an issue at this given time. I get that, it's either deleted or fake, we might never know. But assuming that something is fake after the tombstone fiasco? I don't get that. If that thing got developer attention, anything could. All I'm saying is that we should probably ignore feminists from now on. The whole world should probably ignore feminists.

Why are feminists actively involved in this? What has this got to do with feminism? Some belief that men like to see children murdered and women don't? Feminists = ISIS
