monster is definitely over! The manga has 18 vols while the anime has more than 70 episodes. Personnally, when I have to choose between manga and anime, I usually go for the former since animes are usually bad adaptations of the manga's story. But exceptionnally, the Monster anime is very good.

Project A-ko is a classic one! One of my favorites but it is kinda hard to get it nowadays. I was lucky to find on it on IRC...

Anime recommendations
Ok, here comes the anime-manga specialist! if you are looking for mangas (comic books), I would recommend: -ranma 1/2, maison ikkoku, bleach, fullmetal alchemist, eyeshield21, naruto, rurouni kenshin, one piece if you like light stuff without too much text and not a very complicated story -otherwise, HunterXHunter, Gunnm, Gunnm Last Order, Neon genesis evangelion, Monster, 20th century boys are for you if you like deep and dark stories. There's some philosophy in those so it may not appeal to people who dont like serious stuff if you are looking for animes, most of the mangas listed above have also been made in animes but there are few ones that are unique and worth a look: -Excel saga, FuriKuri (Fooly Cooly in english, or FLCL) are hilarious ones even though the story doesn't make a lot of sense. If you are looking to improve your japanese, you will have a tough time since the characters talk very quickly -Other choices for animes are all of Ghibli Studios' movies (Nausicaa and the valley of winds, sprited away, etc), Slayers (if you like heroic-fantasy), Hellsing, Tenchi muyo, Gunslinger Girls, Chobits (this one is excellent!), Love Hina, and Escaflowne. The good thing with mangas and animes is that there are so many out there that you will find at least one that is suited to your tastes. I suggest you take a look at the titles I mentioned with Wikipedia. Cheers.

That was the most stupid comment I ever read. Have you read any of Sawyer's most recent posts? The worst thing is that you registered just to say this...

Planescape Torment : MMO?
Just FYI: Telling someone to 'shut the frak up' is not the best way to get them to read what you post, and is a sure fire way to get added to an ignore list.No offense meant, my eye. <_< [/i] <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Do you imply that I was harsh? ok, I apologize then...

My Jefferson folder
The engine is pretty difficult to work with from an art perspective. I can say that although the Jefferson/Van Buren engine could produce some very nicely-lit areas (for its time), the NWN2 toolset/engine is far easier to work with for level building. The workflow is much swifter and it is a lot easier to rapidly iterate through level geometry changes. In TBH, building White Ford took us months and the exterior maps had to be divided into three chunks. Last night as an experiment I roughly laid out the same village on a single map in about an hour. I was able to maintain similar spatial relationships and building sizes with the exact same number of houses, "special" buildings, and better rolling terrain. Outside of its toolset flexibility and the very solid foundation of its RPG game logic, there's little of great merit to the "old" engine. Certainly its graphical capabilities are very outdated and the art pipeline is absolutely terrible. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So? do you think it's feasible to produce TBH as a NWN2 module? What I understood from the info collected was that the story was intended to be developed as a trilogy... does that mean that TBH was just the first part of it?

My Jefferson folder
Well of course, as I have said before, the game's features (regional reputation and such), characters, setting and story seemed very promising. Who would say no to another quality CRPG that promised to be at the same level (or even a higher one) as the IE games?

My Jefferson folder
I was hoping for something a bit more specific. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It was being made by BIS... that's another good reason, no? "

My Jefferson folder
I was just angry of being deprived of a CRPG that promised to be as good as BG2. That is reason enough I think. It is up to Sawyer to finish this project or not. However I won't be upset if he doesn't complete it. There will be more quality CRPGs in the future, so I will be focusing my attention on them instead. All this time, I just wanted to convince Obsidian not to abandon this project. As to the purpose of this thread, I just wanted to share the stuff I had on my pc, nothing more. cheers.

My Jefferson folder
Hey everyone! I decided to share this since some people seem to have kept a little of interest in this project. I hope that Sawyer will make a NWN2 module out of it some day. Just a question for Josh (you don't have to answer it, that is): can you please give us a short description of some of the story's characters (you can find their pictures in the Character folder)? I am just curious... Cheers. Here's DA link  http://www.megaupload.com/?d=B9IUZWB3

Managing your PC and NPCS
I am hesitating between creating a barbarian or a sorcerer and I will definitaly give them levels in both the Shadow Thief and NwnNine prestige classes. I guess my character won't be that terrific but i am planning to use the cheat in order to have 5 NPCs in my party, so who cares ? ^_^
-
Get 5 NPCs in your party (NWN2)
I think I am still gonna use that cheat since I want full party interactivity just as in BG2. To balance things, I am gonna raise the difficulty setting to max and avoid having too many mages in my party (either the elf wizard or the warlock guy should be enough).

Managing your PC and NPCS
I deleted my old topic and created this one instead. I already got Darque's authorization for creating such a thread, so there won't be any problems. Besides, the topic is general and specialized enough to have its own thread. Here you can discuss anything about your main character's development for example.

Managing your PC and NPCS
Ok, I am creating this particular thread in order to discuss all kinds of character building issues either for the PC or for the NPCs. So don't hesitate to ask your own questions here! I had a question concerning the multiclassing possibilities offered to your NPCs. So far we only know that the dwarf can become a monk, but what about the others? Taks told me that there are some in-game messages appearing on the loading screens that gave hints about who might become what. He gave me the example of Neeshka who might become an assassin. Has anyone else noticed those messages? I would greatly appreciate it if everyone could contribute to this thread by posting all hints he/she thought seeing in the game. I am sure that this will help everyone in terms of party managment and stuff like that. Thanks in advance for your answers! Cheers!

Get 5 NPCs in your party (NWN2)
does this mean that you can get 5 NPCs in your team? And does that happen late in the game?
