I never mentioned piracy... I could as well download stuff from my brother, cousin, uncle's computer... That kind of thing falls under the private copy rights every individual have (provided he owns an original copy of the product), and not piracy...

so true, and so sad at the same time...

LOL, who mentioned piracy?

Can't you download your animes like everyone else? The obvious advantage is that you can watch your episodes whenever you like. I almost have 200 GB of anime on my external hardrive...

here s another funny test: http://www.quizilla.com/users/Elfie/quizze...20Are%20You%3F/ Here s my result: (w00t) ROFL You're a Dragon!! Intelligent, graceful...and..rather big... But not always! You can change your form into human.. or elf.. though your hair will generally match the colour of what your scales are as a dragon... That's fun.. You're one of the oldest and wisest races alive.... 486 other people got this result! This quiz has been taken 26948 times. 6% of people had this result.

If you guys like thriller animes, I strongly recommend watching Monster. One of the greatest stories made for an anime. If you can afford it, better buy the manga. I recently bought the first 5 volumes of 20th century boys (it's from the same author as Monster). It's another sci-fi thriller and one can really easily become addicted to it. I can't wait to buy the next 5 volumes. The story is extremely interesting and the narration style is very original. The story unfolds in different periods of time: the 70s (the main's chacter's youth), the 90's (where there are many things at stake), and 2014 (where the world isn't a better place than today)...The author switches from one period of time to another every so often... I won't spoil too much though...

Probably. Maybe there was a problem with the gun itself... Anyway, it is a very sad story...
-
A good friend of mine practiced shooting and practiced hunting too. He died a few months ago during a moose hunting "session" (the gun exploded in his face). I will never touch a gun again after that event.

Well, there are some completed concept art portraits displayed on Sammael's webpage... You can use those completed portraits for specific characters and leave a blank for the other characters... I don't know how the whole thing works actually... Can you still use portraits from NWN1? I thought I saw somewhere a portrait of Deekin in NWN2...

Another question: How are dialogs handled? Is it like KOTOR (zooming on the character's face) or is it like NWN 1 (portrait and dialogue choices)? I noticed that NWN2 uses both dialog systems. However, the main difference is that TBH will have no voice-overs (the Kotor dialog system seems to be used whenever there are voice-overs), so I believe everything will be handled just like NWN 1... If this the case, can we use the jefferson concept art portraits for the dialogs. I really want to see those drawings in-game... Am I asking too much?

Could you please create a "spoilers" section on your website? I would be interested to get some additional information.

It didnt really matter in the IE games since you couldn't see your character's face. Now, that's another problem with the NWN series. Jefferson was initially supposed to look like the IE games, so the use of portraits was acceptable. I don't know what the result would be in NWN2. I just have a question though: Will we be able to bypass the level cap and class/prestige class restrictions Sawyer will implement in his module? I thought it would be cool to have a few levels in a PrC that has a connection with one of the factions we would be dealing with. Some PrCs can be available from level 5. Suppose we can deal with the red wizards, the shadow thieves, the harpers, the purple dragon knights, hathran witches. If we take levels in the appropriate classes, our choice will have an influence on our reputation with each faction. That would be create some nice roleplaying opportunities.

I'm not sure if the NWN2 engine supports this or not, but I know Josh considers painted portraits to be a waste of the artists' time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> meh, the Jefferson portraits are absolutely awesome... It would be a pity not to use them.
-
Is it possible to replace the 3D animated portraits with the painted portraits we have? The latter look so much cooler. And that would give a BG-ish feel to the game.

Which ones are these? Are you talking about the character art I had in my folder? I noticed that you didn't upload some of the pictures like the one depicting an orc priest or a halfling thief... Are those from WoT? I thought Wot didnt have orcs or halflings? Anyway, keep up the good work!

Well I am using XP but I couldn't do this before. I had to download that special program...

Thanks man! You really saved me here! I owe you one! Cheers.

Thanks for the reply, Josh!

I have downloaded quite a few portrait packs from the NWvault and from a few other websites. The problem is that after I put all the files in the C/NWN/portraits folder and started a new game, many of the new portraits appeared twice or even thrice!!! I really want to get rid of those extra portraits but I don't know how I can do so, since there is no way for me to know what is the file's name for each portrait (in game). I tried viewing the portrait files using different programs (in windows), but in vain... Can someone help me with that issue, please? Thanks in advance! Cheers.

Do you happen to have more in-game pics? Do you also happen to have the official wallpaper (the one you have on your site's main page: with the hunter and the hound) Sawyer had posted on the BIS boards? This specific wallpaper had a monkey's face on the top of it and had the following sentences: "Juju's monkey adventure in fantasy land" "this may look like d&d, but we can assure you it isn't" This picture was particularly funny. Unfortunately, I lost it and never managed to retrieve it.

Shall we sticky this thread?

From one of the old Jefferson documents I have: "We have about twenty "regular" epithets and two "rank" epithets for each of the eight organizations you can be pals with. We've always had about twenty standard epithets, but I'd rather let players discover what some of them are on their own." From Sammael's website: "Faction - There are six factions one can become involved with, generating positive and negative reps in each one. " Aren't there 2 factions missing there? I don't mean to be annoying... sorry... I just want the module to be as close as possible to the original game.
