Meh. I own most of these games. They are classics at best but not necessarily the best ones for the NES. Does anyone remember Faxanadu, Kid Icarus, Double Dragon or Battle of Olympus? Ahhh, the good old times... BTW, I have had trouble using my NES recently. The screen becomes gray and cleaning the cartridges does not fix the problem. If I remember correctly, there was a small battery inside of them. Maybe there is not enough power...

This is completely sick, and btw, I don't believe anything of what is said on that website. AI has its limits...

Yeah, but the gun came with the console, no? At least, that's how I got it. We even had 2 controllers at the time. The console came with a cartridge combo that had both super mario bros and duck hunt.

Well, at least in the IE games and NWN, I tried to prevent as much as possible to prevent "civilian" casualties. But actually, it depends on what you mean by "civilian". I tried to protect as much as possible the soldiers who were assisting me when Targos was under siege (IWD2), or the apprentices in the NWN academy (NWN prologue). Even though this doesn't have any incidence in the game, I just feel guilty if I fail to protect them. I will reload till I manage to save most or all of them. In BG2, there were many occasions in which you interacted with NPCs that had no relevance in the story (I do remember the random encounters with vampires fighting against shadow thieves), there again I did my best to protect the NPCs (I always tried to save those helpless thieves). I think this whole issue depends on each player's point of view on gaming. I just want to do a bit more than complete the quests. Even if it's in my imagination, I try to roleplay a bit.

Me? Bitter? Naaahhh, I am just tired of being the only one shouting "Jefferson". The project was canned and it is time to move on (no matter what you believe, I have many other things to do than trolling around). If something happens, big J.E. will inform us.

Is this a trick question? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Depends on your understanding of the question. Anyway, I am more waiting for a TBH module for NWN2 than the ressurection of this dead project. You should have shared these things with us at the time when the project was still alive or soon after it got canned. Now, it's too late... the graphics look old btw...

Did you expect me to get excited over some 3D models from an engine that will never get used in any game? Meh... "

Have you ever had a PnP campaign run just right?

Well, I have tried playing p&p quite a few times, but we never managed to finish our sessions: - the first time, my mom cleaned my room and it seems that she threw away all my notes on our gaming session (I was the DM and kept everything: character sheets, maps, story, etc). I never managed to find my notes again. -the second time, while we were playing, one of my friends discovered that I had FF advent children on my pc and proposed to watch it instead of playing (while we already had spent 3 hours on the game) -the third time, my friends spent something like 4 hours creating thei characters. It was then too late to begin our sessions. -the forth time, one of my friends wanted to play an uber cool character (he wanted to dual weild a keen longsword of fire +2, and a keen longsword of ice +2 at level 10... is it even possible for a weapon to have so many features?). There were some other things too and it ended in an argument... -the fifth time, well... after disagreeing, as usual, about the rules we should use, when my friend's character died, he started another argument (I may had overdone it though, he was a level 3 drow rogue facing a level 8 warrior... my friend was assisted by four level 6 fighter NPCs, and another level 4 NPC controlled by me... while his opponent was assisted by 5 level 4 fighters) That's all I can remember, but everytime, it was a debacle... -
For your information, the message I get is "The device cannot be stopped right now. Please try again later". The problem is that I always get this message. Please, help me guys!

Yeah, when I was talking about the icon that appears at the lower right corner of my screen, I meant the "safely remove hardware" one (sorry for being unclear). The problem is that my pc will never allow me to use that thing (I always get some kind of error message). So, I had no other choice than to unplug my HD. The thing is that everyone has told me that we should always click on that icon before remove USB devices and more particularly USB memory sticks because I might lose all my data otherwise. I was thinking the same might happen to my HD since I am not removing it properly. But is it possible that it was designed that way, so that I have to switch it off in order to remove it? Thanks for your answer, BTW.

I recently bought an external HD so that I can store all my anime, but there's something weird about it (maybe I am just paranoid  ). When I try to remove my HD from computer I always click on the "add hardware" icon that appears on the lower right corner of my screen and then click on the "remove" button. The thing is that after doing that my pc refuses to disconnect my external HD and I get this message saying that I can't temporarily use that button (it always says that whenever I try). So far, all I did was switch off the power button that is on HD but I really wonder if it is the correct way of removing it. I wouldn't want to lose all these files I have stored in it! So, my question is whether it is normal that I get such a message. Is it ok if I just switch off the power button or is there a risk of losing everything? Thanks in advance. Cheers.

I prefer the second one. Metaldigital: what are these restrictions that corporeal life forms must adhere to that you are talking about? I am not a pro when it comes to d&d...

Well, it's mostly a click-on-everything type of game...
