Nope. what 'bout the numerous "pretty ladies" who were groped/assaulted by trump? doesn't seem fair to exclude 'em if ivanka is okie dokie fodder... though Gromnir is not actual advocating such. quite the opposite. am thinking wod were including republics with his baseless parroting 'o trump and spicer nonsense regarding widespread voter fraud. as an aside, can we get a "save ferris" campaign for sean spicer? every time mr. spicer steps up to the podium, it reminds us o' downed pilots forced to read prepared statements at gunpoint. has anybody checked to see if mr. spicer's wife and kids is safe? kidding. mostly kidding. against our better judgement, we can't help but sympathize with spicer as he defends white house tall tales from media scrutiny. HA! Good Fun!

possible language barrier fail? dunno. a personal fail o' Gromnir is dogged consistency. HA! Good Fun! ps another example o' why it is foolish to see Republicans as some kinda hive mind http://www.politico.com/story/2017/01/lindsey-graham-trump-kill-list-233898 http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/24/politics/lindsey-graham-trump-illegal-votes/

No. In first case Gromnir states what congressmen must or will do. In second case Gromnir states that stating what congressmen must or will do is asinine. *zoom* hypocrisy goes over Gromnir head. HA! Good Fun! incorrect. in the first case Gromnir rejects the notion that Republicans, as a whole, must stand together with trump. more than a handful o' prominent republicans distanced themselves from trump during the 2016 election. is nothing to prevent them from making a similar choice in 2017 and beyond. in the second instance, Gromnir again rejected the notion that the republican party, as a collective, had some kinda "party approved justice profile." trying to suggest a kinda borg collective mentality for the republican party is asinine. how on earth is you reading? HA! Good Fun!
-
in both cases Gromnir states it is foolish to claim what the Party must or will do as Congressmen act in their own self interest. *zoom* went right over your head. HA! Good Fun!
-
how on earth are you reading? in both instances, Gromnir observes that individual Congressmen will act in their own best interest regardless o' some kinda perceived external notion from pundits regarding what is best for the party. we noted that in 2016 numerous Congressmen did indeed distance themselves from trump as 'posed to aligning with party interests. so, how do you see hypocrisy? HA! Good Fun!

http://abovethelaw.com/2017/01/supreme-court-update-and-then-there-were-three/ am kinda conflicted 'bout the notion o' pryor being the most unlikely o' the seeming three finalists. a fine judge who deserves consideration but getting the Presidential nomination woulda' resulted in a senate bloodbath. would be unseemly to see a fine jurist such as pryor staked out like the goat in jurassic park. then again, would be fun to watch trump view the proceedings impotently, and possible self-destructive, predictable tweeting vitriolic at democrat and republican senators alike. as 'tween hardiman and gorsuch, gorsuch would be our choice as he is the kinda writer who is gonna make his fellow Justices better. the thing is, while both potential nominees is textualists, neither has any kinda obvious question marks on their legal résumé. is gonna be tough for democrats to reasonable oppose either, though after the unfortunate situation with judge garland, they may simple dig in and refuse 60 to any trump nominee. HA! Good Fun! ps one wonders how long before the fbi starts a stalker file for keyrock. won't be surprised if he ends up on a no-fly list.

Thanks for those alternative facts. am kinda exhausted by the alternative facts people. am knowing you think little o' the crowd size stuff, but if the stormtrumpers refuse to even admit how trump lied 'bout crowd size given side-by-side photos, then what chance do you got o' finding common ground for a reasonable discussion? is increasing pointless as the alternative facts folks will simple quote breitbart or trump or spicer as being sources. HA! Good Fun!

you actual haven't identified the specific changes you believe is significant beyond linking to breitbart. personal, Gromnir is very interested in the pipeline move, but shady tried to keep a pipeline thread alive on this board and it were an uphill battle. abortion has always been a limited issue. the pro-life movement were started by white catholic women, which don't exactly make up a huge voting block. etc. but yeah, by definition, almost anything trump does domestic and solo will necessarily be less significant... which is how our system is 'posed to work. the President ain't s'posed to be able to make major changes w/o Congress. you learned this in high school, no? foreign policy? what changes has he made... other than possible accidental escalating tensions with China? trump can bring 'bout major foreign policy changes, but so far all he has done is left folks scratching their heads 'cause he don't seem to know what he is doing. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/the-first-days-inside-trumps-white-house-fury-tumult-and-a-reboot/2017/01/23/7ceef1b0-e191-11e6-ba11-63c4b4fb5a63_story.html?hpid=hp_rhp-top-table-main_trumpturmoil-0902pm%3Ahomepage%2Fstory&utm_term=.789568723267 uh, pretty much every appellate court decision is gonna be technical. is the reason we have judges. appointments of Justices will be significant and will require senate approval. will be interesting to see if trump chooses pryor as he has been rumored to top trump's list while also being the most problematic. again, given historic low approval for an incoming President, will be interesting to see what trump does. nevertheless, trump hasn't actual nominated anybody, so you trying to give trump points for his Schrödinger Justice is as ridiculous as your crowd size defenses. HA! Good Fun!

*chuckle* you sound like vol criticizing polls. the polls were indeed wrong as they failed to gauge how few democrats would actual vote. polls measuring trump popularity don't need to account for such. http://www.npr.org/2017/01/17/510256862/trump-polls-tweet-favorability-popular oh, and more fabulist nonsense from trump http://www.npr.org/2017/01/24/511420960/trump-still-insists-millions-voted-illegally-theres-no-evidence-of-that http://www.npr.org/2017/01/24/511341779/president-trump-to-cut-regulations-by-75-percent-how-real-is-that even trump nominees is left baffled http://www.npr.org/2017/01/24/511434627/budget-director-nominee-obama-inauguration-crowds-were-bigger-than-trumps and trying to tell us what dozens of different Congressman want from a Court Justice is asinine. we are talking 'bout individuals. there is no party approved justice profile. and am suspecting you read "strict constructionist" somewheres w/o actual understanding. very few judges self identify as following strict construction. even the judges the public misidentifies as conservative almost never identify as following strict construction. HA! Good Fun! ps but keep repeating alternative facts and linking to breitbart. is... amusing.

He's announcing his Supreme Court nominee next week, how's that for significant? To your broader point, Republicans have to realize either they hang together, or they'll hang apart. So far they seem to be getting the message, even little Marco says he'll vote for Tillerson. Edit: None of these are significant either: http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/01/23/donald-trump-executive-orders-kills-tpp-announces-federal-hiring-freeze-restores-mexico-city-policy/ Or the pipelines he just approved. actual, no. virtual everything trump has done so far is not significant. heck, media must need explain why tpp matters to folks and again, the abortion stuff is not a mainstream issue even if it is vital important to a small number o' people. and yeah, trump will eventual announce appointments. right now he don't have the clout to force through any genuine controversial picks, so likely he goes moderate. and no, the republicans don't need hang together with trump. is the reason why so many republicans did not back trump during the election. sure, trump fail will damage the party, but republicans is more concerned 'bout being reelected. if a Congressman believes he/she can be reelected by standing 'gainst a floundering and failing trump, they will do so. worked for more than a couple in 2016. will be interesting to see how trump tries to generate positive support in the near future. he needs a sea change. HA! Good Fun!

agreed. am thinking there is obsidians who wanted to do things in fallout and failed. well, not so much failed as fo:nv didn't match their goals. ravel showed up in many black isle/obsidian games not 'cause she were a fail, but 'cause the obsidians (chrisA) weren't done with her. there were things chrisA wanted to do with ravel in ps:t, but couldn't. games development results in much good content ending up unrealized. no doubt there is a natural tendency to try and "fix" old games using content in new games. am kinda worried 'bout poe2. faith were the thematic core o' poe and we believe there is much left to be said 'bout faith in eora and in crpgs in general. the manner in which poe joinable companions were utilized for bluntforce lore exposition diminished their value o' advancing core theme. companions can be fixed. faith should remain thematic relevant. am not wanting to see obsidians get fixated on micro explorations o' lore or fixing fo:nv. am concerned the developers will get so caught up in the lore and mechanics o' competing factions they forget/marginalize theme. end up with better factions mechanics and lore than poe or fo:nv, but w/o a reason to care 'bout 'em. HA! Good Fun!

am kinda surprised by how little recognition there is for silence. is kinda a natural contrast to lala land as scorsese's work (vanity project) has almost no music and is brutally introspective. sure, lala land can drag a bit in the middle, but the 2 hours and 41 minutes o' spiritual angst which is silence will no doubt feel like actual religious penance to many viewers. even so, silence is the kinda flick we expect to see recognized. am s'posing hacksaw ridge fills the niche silence might otherwise occupy. *shrug* have been increasing less curious 'bout oscars in recent years. our onset o' curmudgeondom leaves us with little patience for the politics o' the academy. channeling our inner carl? too young... hope. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRAfm5glLFY HA! disagree. the sad truth is "cutting funding from women clinics in developing countries that offer abortion services," is something most americans don't care 'bout. most americans don't care 'bout planned parenthood neither. during the election trump didn't create controversy to distract. myth. groping incident hurt him. so too did refusal to provide taxes. his history o' hiring undocumented workers were argued in the media to distract from what exactly? the truth is most americans who ended up voting (damn you stay-at-home democrats) didn't care 'bout what the media thought were important and trump's biggest advantage were, ironically, his complete lack o' any real experience. trump could spout empty promises all day long, but his own political record were unimpeachable simple cause he didn't have one. trump hammered the democrats for obamacare, and immigration issues, and security concerns and jobs for middle class americans. trump hammered clinton failures and her personality quirks. he didn't use his own fails to distract, but sadly most americans didn't care enough 'bout trump's business or personal failures 'cause he were promising to be different than everybody else, democrat or republican. so disappointed with washington were americans that they actual wanted somebody with no washington experience, somebody who would be different. trump isn't using distraction. is nothing to distract from save for his diminishing popularity and he ain't gonna use proof o' diminished popularity to distract from it. during the election, trump blunders didn't matter 'cause he could always point to democrats and clinton and washington fails. distract from what? what trump is current doing is killing stuff people should care 'bout but don't. he is also trying very hard to convince folks o' his popularity, 'cause he wants to be the next andrew jackson, but to do so he needs be as popular as were andrew jackson. the reason trump's popularity keeps dropping is 'cause he no longer has the clinton and the democrats and washington elites to blame. during the election, trump actual complained 'bout snl not giving him equal time. *chuckle* trump is now part o' washington and people is looking to see what he will actual do. so far he has done little save kill programs few americans genuine care 'bout. yeah, he may try and make the media the new villain now that clinton is unavailable to him as a punching bag, but is only a handful o' stormtrumpers buying into such nonsense. eventually, trump will need do something, and he can't do anything significant w/o more political clout. HA! Good Fun!

is not impressive. our elephantine recall is largely limited to anything we has read, and that which is accompanied by music. our admitted limited brainpower is most often wasted recollecting show tunes and tv jingles. is annoying. try not to think o' a pink polar bear. can't do it, can you? now imagine that same situation but with an entire musical. is maddening. for funsies https://www.nytimes.com/video/us/politics/100000004887057/comparing-inauguration-crowds.html http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/20/politics/donald-trump-barack-obama-inauguration-crowd-size/?iid=ob_lockedrail_bottommedium the image used by cnn is identical to the photos used by the nytimes... or near enough one cannot tell w/o a magnifying class and a whole lotta free time. cnn observes the Getty photo being used was taken during trump's speech. what kinda delusion has a person see inauguration comparisons and they conclude the media lies while spicer and trump simple got "carried away." HA! regardless, is many news outlets reporting same, and sources other than media (transit and nielsen, plus a dozen or so dress shops and hotels) adding to support to media as 'posed to trump. who in their right mind would use inauguration crowd size as evidence o' media falsehood when it is a far better example o' trump being a pathological fabulist? ... is reminiscent o' the moon landing conspiracy theory thread we had on this board. no matter the evidence or science used, there were still folks who were compelled to come to conclusions exact opposite o' what a reasonable person would reach. were baffling. HA! Good Fun!

for chrissakes. and you got nerve to complain 'bout nyt misleading? is a very limited camera angle compared to the genuine aerial views. why the hell you need to know exact time? from video you can see from predawn to completion and never does crowd genuine extend to washington monument. puhlease. and yeah, we type signature every single time... is tradition from old interplay boards. HA! Good Fun! ps again, for wod conspiracy to be plausible, we must need accept that every other news outlet which showed similar aerial photos were likewise in on the fix. need marginalize dc transit and nielsen numbers. trump and his press secretary lied. you wanna fixate on a photo from nyt you think is misleading but you "argue endlessly while completely ignoring whatever point your opponent is making." the world o' news outlets and numerous other sources is being ignored by you. why work so hard?
-
the hypocrisy is strong with you. argue endlessly while ignoring responses? *shrug* can't tell when video ends? it is continuous for chrissakes. when crowd begins to shrink, is kinda obvious the inauguration is over. you are working hard to believe alternative facts. the aerial video refutes what you claim to see in the photo taken from a limited ground level view, and you ignore how at least a dozen news outlets produced similar aerial photos (which largely reflect what is seen in the video) and instead craft a conspiracy theory which ignores the Fact that trump and his press secretary lied 'bout crowd size. multiple news outlets. transit authority. nielsen. they is all in on the fix. HA! Good Fun! (edit: failed to space before signature... didn't wanna mislead 'bout actual length o' our post.)
-
you didn't watch the video, did you? you can see inauguration crowd from start to finish. and again, nielsen ratings, and transit numbers also reinforced what were evident in the aerial images. gotta work hard to believe those alternative facts. come up with conspiracy theories. choose to believe photos from limited angles. ignore transit and nielsen and hotel and dress shop feedback. is what we were talking 'bout 'bove with people wanting to believe the outliers. either a dozen major media outlets, the dc transit authority and the nielsen folks is all in on the fix, Or... why work so hard? HA! Good Fun! I saw it, towards the end of the video it starts zooming and it's hard to tell exactly what time the video ends. I'm not saying Trump's crowds were bigger or anything like that, but you can clearly see in the gigapixel I linked the crowd went all the way back to Washington Monument as Trump said, and why would NYT use a picture from 45 minutes before the swearing in for comparison instead of during, if not to mislead? dear lord. you are proving our point. HA! Good Fun!
