use the shredder on the map. etc. efficient use of resources. am cutting your problems in half. HA! Good Fun!

doubt it matters, but it does lead to curious problems. am thinking we mentioned previous how our sister also went to berkeley. she lived in a place called rochdale along with a bunch o' other women in one o' the 4-bedroom units. were typically +6 women living in the unit and for two years our sister were the only heterosexual 'mongst them. for various reasons, Gromnir visited our sister frequent, so we became exposed to nuances o' the lgbt community in the bay area circa 1990. anyways, one o' the rochdale roommates went through gender reassignment and her transition were smooth save for one small (big) problem. see, jane were in love with mary (not their actual names) and mary liked jane. unfortunate, when jane became a john, mary lost interest in john. from john we learned a fair amount 'bout gender reassignment and the day-to-day issues o' a woman trying to live as a man post surgery, but more than anything we felt profound sympathy for john. before surgery, mary assured john how she would love him no matter what he looked like on the outside. watch john pine after mary were not the least bit comical. were terrible sad. john were so painful lonely, and when we knew him, he hadn't yet learned the manly art o' internalizing emotion. just sad.

yeah. best not to take any of these threads by _______ seriously. now for a complete random musical interlude. HA! Good Fun! ps as a more curious aside, when Gromnir were looking for oldie daffy duck videos on youtube, we got a curious option: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66tbBU35I3o were not a "recommended for you" option. ... am not sure who should be offended, ted nugent or tex avery.

second ever star wars video from Gromnir. hope you are happy. the jedi is perhaps not your best guide for making consistent or compelling argument. there you go. everything you need to know 'bout everything from a true duck for all seasons. HA! Good Fun!

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/webeharebrained/battletech/posts/1768032?ref=backer_project_update HA! Good Fun! ps we got no idea what we would do with 'em, and at $85 it seems like a silly purchase, but https://battletechgear.com/product/clan-banner-set/

suggestions: 1) make less 2) skip the meat, lettuce, tomatoes and rice 3) 'cook' beans layer dip becomes a mess very quick and does not save well. make less than you likely planned to, and avoid those ingredients which will punish you for failure to consume quick. if you have guests, then your guests is also less likely to eat once it looks like a steaming puddle o' vomit. less. use homemade pico de gallo 'stead o' lechuga and/or tomatoes... well-drained pico de gallo. very well-drained. we would also use guacamole and likely two different shredded cheeses. not nacho as again is only gonna serve to make the dip messier and less reusable. cheddar and jack... or maybe cotija? olives... or not. jalapenos... or not. cook your beans and then top with a cheese layer. cold beans suck, so cook however you would typical cook. add a can o' chilies and a whole lotta hot sauce? great. whatever. after cheese, add sour cream, then guac. another layer o' cheese. top with black olives (or not) and jalapenos (or not). review: no rice. no meat. no tomatoes. no lettuce. cook your beans and worry less 'bout aesthetics as the thing will be a mess soon enough. HA! Good Fun! ps layer dip is not our favorite. like good guacamole? then make guac. like good salsa? then make salsa. like cheese? use cheese. mix everything together rare works well.

we like ryan gosling as an actor, but he gets miscast as a tough guy. looks as if they is trying to make him tough in bladerunner 2049. mistake. am knowing many people like drive. it were an okie dokie movie and had the kinda 60s/70s rough edge to it we miss. but gosling as a tough guy? he woulda' spent half his life trapped in a locker with his butt cheeks taped together if he had gone to Gromnir's high school. HA! Good Fun!

we can name more than a couple o' good real-time with pause games we has played in the last ten years, including da:o at one end o' the temporal spectrum and poe at the other. is as easy to find bad tb as bad rtwp... perhaps easier. get into some kinda silly tangential debate 'bout what games is good is not something in which we is gonna indulge, but sales seem to suggest people prefer rtwp regardless o' sharp's opinion, y'know given how the biggie budget triple a games has, til recent, been almost exclusive rtwp. again, our preference is tb, but am hardly ignorant o' the fact many people like rtwp. is many excellent rtwp games. we prefer tb, but as 'tween bad tb and good rtwp, am gonna take good rtwp every time. HA! Good Fun!

Self-censorship is the worst kind of censorship. am pretty sure that inability to self-censor is symptomatic o' mental illness. just sayin'. HA! Good Fun!

Gromnir prefers tb. our preference does not mislead us regarding the rather obvious conclusion based on all those preference polls and sales figures that gamers in general prefer rtwp. in spite o' our personal preference, we do not see some kinda inherent tactical weakness o' rtwp. we like good tb. bad tb can be soul-numbing. bad rtwp can be a mindless clickfest. even so, in all those preference polls, we vote tb. always a minority. HA! Good Fun!

The Weird, Random, and Interesting things that Fit Nowhere Else Thread
Gromnir replied to Rosbjerg's topic in Way Off-Topic
and yet go ahead and even imply that perhaps, maybe, a woman might be behaving a bit peculiar 'cause o' pms or her period and wait for the predictable unpleasant reaction. am not a woman. *shrug* am nevertheless baffled by the near universal experience for pre menopausal women, which we, as men, must needs simultaneously (impossibly) sympathize with and ignore. do not be dismissive of cycle. do not suggest the cycle has impact 'pon behavior. conclusion: almost 1/2 half the world population needs to just sack up 'bout their periods. kidding. ... sorta. HA! Good Fun! ps is almost 1/2 'cause while women outnumber men, quite a few is too young or too old to need deal with the cycle. -
would be easier to take tig serious if he wasn't comparing the tactical combat sophistication and depth o' poe and bg... and finding poe wanting. HA! Good Fun!

the lordling in question is a problem for us. is not a matter o' difficulty-- quite the opposite. midway through poe we are awash in money, but such is not the case early. not enough coin early in the game for our needs. there is a solution to our early-game poe pecuniary problems which has us largely ignoring any kinda rp sensibilities: go to lordlings keep and kill everything. plate armour is valuable, and there is dozens o' potential corpses with plate armour at raedric's hold. one o' the first things we do in a typical poe game is to head to the lordling's domicile and transform it into an abattoir/cash register. challenge level is relative low and the funds from our personal Project Mayhem keep us well supplied for much o' the early portion o' the game. is not good rp, but is just too ez to resist. HA! Good Fun!

played some nina simone for a friend o' ours recent. she weren't impressed. "that guy can't sing." ... have mentioned previous in this thread how much we appreciate the talents o' nina simone http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/80512-music-must-go-on/?p=1810614 doesn't happen often, but the aforementioned criticism o' one o' favorite female vocalists rendered us speechless... and mortified. HA! Good Fun!

virtual every Gromnir main character, regardless of class, has similar attribute spreads... with two-to-three points of variation. m 10 d 10 c 10 p 16 i 16 r 16 for paladins we typical drop dex, con and/or per by 1 and add the points to intelligence to try and get an 18-19, but that is unnecessary. the above attribute spread will result in a highly effective potd character for any class, because the poe attributes, unlike in other crpgs, is not determinative of success. sure, attributes matter and have value in poe, but talents and abilities is just as (more) important as attributes, particularly as you level and get further away from level 1. if you know the dialogue thresholds for npcs, you can use food and resting bonuses to bolster anemic attributes, but the above attribute spread is gonna be extreme forgiving and will have you largely avoiding the need to run to a guide to figure out best spreads or similar such nonsense. again, do not sweat the attributes if your concern is combat efficacy. talents, abilities and smarty gameplay will be far more determinative o' combat success than your initial attribute spread. however, we highly recommend the above attribute spread for those wishing to have access to most o' the cerebral dialogue options w/o needing to game the game-- no running to guides or fora to figure out npc dialog check numbers. HA! Good Fun! ps regardless of changes made to the game via patches, you can see our advice has remained the same since the game were released. http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/84838-optimal-starting-stats-and-late-game-signifficance-for-wizard/?p=1782213 and from just after release http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/72352-might-universal-required-stat/?p=1603924 do not listen too close to those folks telling you what attributes you need to be an effective _________ in poe. they are wrong. chose attributes for rp or dialogue reasons and you will be fine.

But Michelle Yeoh is the captain so should she be the lead? being the captain hardly necessitates being the lead. ... the real question is why there needs be an announced lead at all. tell stories from different character pov each week is actual common for star trek. wanna get a bit more removed from the captain's chair for the new star trek is doable, but the notion o' a primary protagonist for a star trek show one assumes will last multiple seasons strikes us as unnecessary. HA! Good Fun!

having played effective melee priests o' eothas, wael, and skaen, am gonna heartily disagree with the suggestion o' diminishing utility o' the weapon-focus aspect o' the deity specific talents. if you wanna be a priest who gets his hair mussed a bit by entering combat with a weapon, you can do so... but the only way you are gonna be genuine effective is with the benefit o' the deity specific talent. converse, the minor spell casting perk many o' the deity specific talents provide do not scale well with the game. a priest can do big and consistent damage with weapons late in the game, but the time it takes to cast the watered down deity specific spells is rare worth the effort to do so, particularly as one levels. HA! Good Fun!

we don't know much 'bout her, but it helps keep things in perspective as one recollects patrick stewarts' resume before tng https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efd9zcjn5JM yeah, avery brooks were already one o' the baddest men on tv when he took command at deep space 9, but star trek (tv) hasn't had to rely on big name stars to make big impact. HA! Good Fun! ps kinda the opposite from ss on the casting choices as we recognize all save chieffo and obi. had to google those two actors... and we still got no idea who they are.

SW: The Old Republic - Episode VIII (May RNG Be With You)
Gromnir replied to Blarghagh's topic in Computer and Console
well, that is something. our personal experience with ea/bio customer service has had us borderline postal a couple times. felt as if we had a bot responding to our queries as responses were frequent, well, non-responsive. were as if we were getting pre-generated responses based on keywords in our ticket. is not as if we do the Gromnir bit when writing a swtor ticket neither. just for funsies, am command rank 36 and still no set bonus piece. am s'posing it don't much matter as am only doing solo content at the moment anyway and will likely not do much group until we hit tier 2. in a ironic twist, harbinger, which were near constant ls dominant for the entirety o' the galactic command nonsense, has sudden seen a balancing with ds victories. happened contemporaneous with the life day event. life day brought out the dark side in the server. HA! Good Fun! -
condolences. so often the people who are most in need of help are the individuals least likely to ask for it. it is so pointless to find out afterwards just how bad a person was hurting.
