  1. ... and a black lightsaber beam.
  2. Or Revan had just aquired an interest in a Czerka mask-factory, and was trying to start a mask-wearing fad amongst the Jedi so that it would prove profitable.
  3. More information? Which movies are you referring to? Xbox movies were at 640x480. These have been / will be upgraded in the patch for PC (not sure how big, I haven't checked.)
  4. Yeah your probably right bur I was trying to make a point: You can't measure SW ships <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But you can, because people have created them based on real ships, so it is quite acceptable and reasonable to extrapolate the original designs and eventual results to acertain "real" (read: virtual) measurements. I don't know about you, but I have a lot of difficulty with any fiction that is not based on reality: the suspension of disbelief is critical, and it depends on some sort of cross-over between our reality and the imaginary virtual world. Otherwise, you are correct, we might as well discuss how many angels can dance on the head of a pin. But as this forum is about SW, then we shall discuss, amongst other things, the size of capital ships in SW.
  5. Art allows the artist to speak through the medium to the audience. And a picture is worth a thousand words.
  6. It really does cast the game in a harsh daylight to see what the end could have been. Instead, we got an end that was so lacking in meaning that I have not had any interest in playing the game again. As Silvershadow said, your summary (even though it might pre-empt the mod! ) actually helps sort the mess into some sort of cogent denouement. I suspect that the Exile would have had to be taken (perhaps miraculously, like a teleport, or similar) from the group for them to think her dead. (Actual death would have had repurcussions on M5 and Kreia, after all, and some of them -- e.g. Visas -- would have known that.) Perhaps she set off first and missed a scheduled communication? Then the team would have to assume she was dead or captured. Perhaps if there was also some big explosion in the general area where she was heading, that might help them to their erroneous decision. Who knows? Probably one of the plot points they hadn't decided on and so it was not scripted yet when the command came to ditch everything not finished. Also it is not clear whether the fights between the competing love interests (Micah-Atton / Visas-Brianna) are fatal for LS, which would have an effect on the end battles.
  7. Of course it is and to quote Coran <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I especially like the interpretive eyes; Kreia is portrayed as a far-seeing individual who is more than capable of looking deep within someone, penetrating beyond their feeble defensive tactics and devouring their naked soul. And the grey hair suits her, too.
  8. Yup Baley-spaming SW since 2005 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Right, so how big do you think the capital ships were? Or, to make it easier: - artistic rationale (e.g. Death Star RotJ c.160km) - scientific rationale (e.g. Death Star RotJ c.900km)
  9. So we can conclusively say that, based on the statistical evidence, males are the weaker gender! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or that I suck at building them :"> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't confuse the public with multiple conclusions: we need a simple, dumbed down message to summarise any subject, regardless of the inherent complexity.
  10. So we can conclusively say that, based on all the (available) statistical evidence (a huge sample space of two), males are the weaker gender!
  11. Maybe there are Gothics in SW, and it was widely known that Revan had a few friends who dressed in black, used black makeup and wore heavy period costumes...
  12. I meant using the rapid shot (thankyou) feat in conjunction with the repeating blaster.
  13. Oh no! Probably she is still playing catch-up: I see you have been very busy closing down multiple threads over the weekend... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It wasn't all my fault...I almost never spam alone :"> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know, you guys probably need an intervention () to help break the pernicious cycle of spamming to prevent continual recidivism. Perhaps just having a SW topic to talk about might be better?
  14. Bingo...and it's better to use that sword with reballence mods  <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What was your maximum un-modified?
  15. Oh no! Probably she is still playing catch-up: I see you have been very busy closing down multiple threads over the weekend...
  16. It is the minimum and maximum size range of a planetoid that can sustain an atmosphere, given that it exists in a universe with laws of physics similar to ours. (Which, according to leading opinion -- i.e. Stephen Hawking in A Brief History of Time -- is not only possible but mandatory.) Which you would know if you bothered to read any of the link you are trying to dismiss. If you are trying to support the converse ideology; i.e. that whatever the illiterate artists have written in some of the official fanboy books that accompany the film releases is canon, then you should be aware that the article also quotes from an earlier source: namely an interview with Richard Edlund of Industrial Light & Magic. " The Deathstar, I think, will be a lot more interesting than the one in the first Star Wars
  17. The easiest, most plausible and simplest explanation for starting a character at a lower level is due to a loss of training. For example, if a soldier in the special forces takes a holiday, their training is interrupted and they no longer are fit enough to fight. They would have to re-train to regain the level of fitness they once had. So, like Jolee Bindo, Revan or the Exile might have stopped, or been prevented, from gaining experience and maintaining their level; it is quite reasonable to assume that they would lose some of their ability to fight/wield the force.
  18. Well, if you have corroborated those findings with the combat log, then either: - that particular weapon isn't working as designed, or - no repeater blasters work as described. I'm far too lazy to check whether the repeating blaster actually increases the firing rate; although I do seem to recall it doing so (no independent documentatry evidence, however -- perhaps it was the multi-shot feat?). Perhaps it is just this weapon? What happens if you use the multi-shot feat?
  19. You should really read the entire topic... anyhow, this is what i posted earlier. "KOS-MOS is a beatiful weapon from a far superior game http://www.xenosaga.com/ official site. It's the prequel to Xenogears... Which was probably the best RPG on PS1. " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Is this the KOSMOS? I think this is more than a little silly. Also, all the characters have the proportions of toddlers/dwarves ... e.g. their arms do not extend above their heads.
  20. Two things: - The PC gains +1 AB every level. It would not be unbelievable that your PC is missing quite frequently at the low levels before leaving Peragus. - The +1 can be augmented (and indeed penalized) by modifications added to the weapon (scope, chamber, power source) -- unless it is a "non-modifiable", in which case sell it or break it down in preference for on that is.
  21. It is with LA for QA. The Ass. Prod. has already told us this in the other "Next Patch Thread". By the way, you can delete the extra, redundant topic yourself -- which I know you want to do.
  22. Baley are you just going to spam nonsense until you reach level 10? " You guys are certainly an interesting case study in stream-of-consciousness writing.
  23. I got stuck up a tree when I fought the beasties near the marooned Mandalorian on Dxun. Also, every time the Jedi attack Kreia on Dantooine Vrook has no lightsaber beam.
  24. Agree. Character creation is a definite weak spot. How about different races? In K1 different classes had different physical dimensions (height, weight), so more of that. I think a young yodaling-thing -- who isn't a know-it-all -- would be a good character. Physical disadvantages, but mental advantages.
