The Kreia/Kae Question
That statement begs the question: What is your choice?

How the heck did you guys deal with...
The most troublesome combat for me was when I ran up the ramp and became embroiled in a firefight surrounded by droids and Sith from every angle! I made sure to activate the computer protocols before the main battle, next time. :D

Dustil and Mission look pretty happy. (Must be a LS Dustil.)

As I recall
Different emphasis. In K1, the story arc, the plot momentum was singular and didn't branch, yes, I grant you that. But in K2, not only was the story rigid, by the end from Dantooine's Jedi Council confrontation was just four cut scenes interspersed with three fights. At no time could you opt for a different set up. It wasn't enough that the dialogue options were restricted, but also you couldn't even change events by choosing any of them -- like succumbing to the Jedi Council's will -- without the Kreia Deus ex Machina intervention. That and the feeling of being carried along like a twig in a stream annoyed me. Then you get a dialogue tree to explain all the bits the developers didn't have time to create scripts for.

The Kreia/Kae Question
For "reads" read "eats on a regular basis" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ... and regurgitates them onto a nice, clean website forum for others to pick through ...

The Kreia/Kae Question
I am not attempting to do anything. I am. I do admit to completing tertiary education, and I have always had an avid interest in lexicography: every word is a unique concept -- at least in connotation or flavour -- and I am eternally and indefatigably interested in ideas. So the more words I read and understand, the more ideas I am exposed to (feeds my insatiable hunger). Again, this has meant that I have read many dictionaries, usually cover-to-cover, for fun. But I have long since passed on from using words to impress. I strive always for clarity of meaning, and if I communicate in a manner that fails to engage the audience, I may as well have not bothered in the first place. So what you read is what I am trying to say. If it's not clear, I will endeavour to clarify for you. No offence meant and none taken.

Was Revan a Skywalker? Or was his last name Revan.
... or more sensibly, Skywalker wasn't a Revan.

Help rpg newbie
Actually, there is; you may only deduct points in an attribute down to a minimum of three (3), and any points you add to an attribute increment on a curve, so that after a point score of fourteen it requires two points (+2) to increase the attribute to fifteen, and three points (+3) to increase from sixteen to seventeen (equates to the bonus level of conferred by the attributre score). In this way you are quite free to have a character at level 1 with 20 strength, but the character will necessarily have to be penalised in other areas. For skills the maximum you may set is based on your current level, and increases with it. E.g. a level 10 character can only have a maximum of 10 in a single "core" skill and half that in any others. For extra information, check out the "Skills" status screen (press "k"); you will see a description of all the skills and feats and powers (for Force-Senstives). In the descriptions there is a note explaining the fundamental attribute that governs the skill, e.g. Charisma governs Persuasion so your charisma bonus/penalty (e.g. +2 for attribute score 14 and -1 for attribute score 9) is added to your raw skill score. HTH

Like Madonna and Sting, Revan has only one name ....

The Kreia/Kae Question
I don't know, are we? :D I think the problem is we have reached the conclusion of the evidential stage of the argument process; Cathari (<{POST_SNAPBACK}>) has provided as much circumstantial evidence as can be reasonably expected from an exegesis of the dialogue. All that remains, barring some ex cathedra statement from GL, or a miraculous finding of some lost dialogue where the mystery is solved, is faith to be placed on one side or t'other of this holy war thread.

The Kreia/Kae Question
I would love to have Baley give some philosophical input; but an argument isn't just saying "No 'tisnt!". ("Yes it is." "No it isn't." "'Tis!" "''Tisnt!" apologies to Monty Python's Flying Circus, The Argument Clinic.)

As I recall
... The sequence of events that starts in the rebuilt enclave on Dantooine and ends with the death of Darth Traya. ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I heartily concur. Try doing the Dantooine confrontation with any combination of team members and dialogue choices to see if you can change any part of the plot until the end of the game. You can't. It's just one long odd interactive cutscene spliced together between some battles. Tht is the restrictive lack of role playing that annoyed me the most.

My young Kreia...
Ahhhh, only now do you understand, young Skywalker, that life is not the black-and-white caricature used in the education of the young, but more shades of grey, with people of goodness doing acts of badness, and people more inclined to evil sometimes, despite their intentions, doing some good. Better that you weep for the young innocent that is lost when the Kreia betrays and murders her, as Vader did to Aniken Skywalker, lest more young and innocents fall the same way.

The Kreia/Kae Question
You can't spell and six-year-olds have better grammar than you do. Mr Phantom, you should ask for your official deputy's badge from the Mods. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Your just worried that they'll close your own behemoth thread... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ssshhh! As long as Baley doesn't see it and start one of his "virtual equals imaginary and therefore has no correlation to real life" spam wars about llamas then I expect the thread to remain an infrequently-updated collection of metaphysical thoughts. As long as Baley doesn't see it, of course. ^_^ :D

You get fined if you're caught with modded Xboxes <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep, it's a misdemeanor, not a crime. Are you suggesting that this might be a pointless and stupid laws ? " I don't like the loss of warranty aspect, personally.

My young Kreia...
Got it:
-
My young Kreia...
A picture of innocence; the flower of youth -- before the cynical universe vitiates her moral fibre as her search for meaning takes her through the teachings of all Force Sensitives before her final, adulterated appearance in KotOR:TSL. For Kreia is the Prophet of the New Order: The Force is malevolently controlling the galaxy for its own ends, and the FSs are its pawns. The next and greatest battle will be between the Counter-Force disciples of the Prophet-Martyr against the FS sheep, who blindly live and die for a secret agenda, kept from them by The Force. :D "

That's okay. As I have said before (though not to you, directly) you're grasp of English is several standard deviations above my grasp of Russian (or Italian, for that matter). I think I may be deaf or missing some critical neurological element -- certainly I have a lot of trouble with the diction in music -- so I take a lot longer to learn foreign languages .... and my accent is atrocious (so I am quite comfortable in the written media!) But I will grant you that John Cleese did make a good argument for the sexiness of the Russian language in A Fish Called Wanda.

Celebrating episode III: Kyla's fanart
Not for the felinephobic amongst is. I thought it was terrific. My cats are cooler, though. Furry and Rocky. Rocky plays tag. Both know their names and come when called (although Rocky thinks his middle name is "naughty"). PS> Kyla your artwork is professional; if you don't work in the graphic industry then you might want to -- good graphic novel ideas, too. You could make your own KotOR comics!

M.Tims Fanart
And Visas. Why is there no Visas/Exile Romance art anywhere? Oh, and why didn't she have a russian accent? ...sexiest language ever... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No my friend, Italian is a sexy language. None of that guteral spitting and glottal hacking that you hear in French, Portuguese and Spanish: just melifluous banter that flows like milk and honey over the ears. Not as harsh as the German tongue, nor as hectic as the Russian and Persian cousins: just pure sensual, salacious and seductive. :D

Character Look-a-likes
Yes. Then again, he's not really a "real" person either, now is he? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well Disciple does resemble that individual, but, for once, I have to say Disciple is better looking! Disicple always reminded me of this cartoon chracter as well--more so in attitude than actual appearance though. Royal <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Heh! Or Peter Perfect from the Wacky Races Edit: Oh, and one more linky: "... Peter Perfect is anything but, with his car always falling apart, and he spends more time fawning over Penelope Pitstop than worrying about the race. ..."
