  1. Not total of eight. More options to choose from.
  2. Hmmm ... strokes chin ... Just another case of raping the most out an idea, for the minimum effort and the lowest common denominator.
  3. Someone will do it. I played another mod, with the lawyer Green as the protagonist (name escapes me for the moment), which I thought was better than Opposing Forces!
  4. Nope. But I did play with a small group for a little while (that I met online); I didn't like the whole concept.
  5. Ah, if you are dislodged, then your unit can retreat to anywhere, yes. But if you attack your own unit, then it cannot be dislodged, regardless of supporting forces. (That's right, isn't it? )
  6. So, come on you two: Italy or Russia? Commies or Brown Shirts? :D PS The spirit of the game is not to take it (or yourself) too seriously ... really it's all just as it is: you either cop it sweet, or you don't: the game goes on.
  7. ... The data could be called pain.
  8. You can't dislodge your own unit.
  9. Neverquest
  10. It was pretty lame. It is basically the original Half-Life story, but from a Barneyesque viewpoint (hence the name). But the length is gimped, the gameplay nerfed and the enjoyment paled. But it's okay for a couple of hours.
  11. Then I suspect you've never played one. There's that goofy intangible that I can't put my finger on that makes them appealing. I swore I would never subscribe to a game, but after playing the beta of WoW I was sold on it for a couple of months. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have. Veni, vidi, exeunt. I came, I saw, I left.
  12. Fixed! (Think of all the French films that have been butchered for popcorn-munchers, e.g. La Femme Nikita.)
  13. Overrated: Happiness Underrated: Bitterness <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  14. I wouldnt know anything about that,.. its not like I have the album... nooo sir " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is actually not bad ...
  15. Overrated: smart-assedness Underrated: intelligence
  16. Actually, UNICEF is communist, moreso than any other part of the organisation. This is sadly true. It seems a given condition of human nature, an unrepresentative organisation tneds to abuse the power invested in it. Look at the EU, they sacked every accountant whistle-blower who refused to sign off on the blatant corruption that in endemic in the the organisation: from how it awards contracts, to who receives a kickback. It's sickening, and arguably the real reason that the French and Dutch referrenda to approve the European Constitution were soundly defeated. It's a pity that life is immitating art; how soon before there are UNATCO troops on the streets of New York ... ... come back JC (Denton), all is forgiven!
  17. I am also dismissing the corollory to your Gaza-born Jewish children hyposthesis: that the poor children born on the boat don't get the lottery of a birth country to use as an argument. Or, to put it in more real terms, what do the Palestinian children get for their trouble? Born in a ghetto, so stay there? It's just another unfair way to divide rather than unite. People working together should be encouraged: those that want to kill each other should all be put together and allowed to ...
  18. Double you. Tee. Eff. (Is that my three sentence rebuttal?) Over: Reality T.V. Under: Writing with pen and paper instead of typing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Word.
  19. It seems pretty fragile to me. I'm all for a demiliterised zone, so that no-one can live there (without surrendering all weapons).
  20. Karl Urban was in Lord of the Rings... he played Eomer, he was also in The Bourne Supremacy as some Russian dude and I believe he made an appearance in The Chronicles of Riddick... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Correct. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Psst. Guys. It's okay. Hurlshot thinks the Rock can act. There is no point is arguing ...
  21. I think Canada should demonstrate an act of good will and disarm its nuclear arsenal. ... Canada's status as a nuclear state depends mostly on the definition. Canada cooperated extensively with the United States in the development and manufacture of nuclear weapons, and deployed hundreds of American warheads, but did not have an independent program. ...
  22. The funny thing is that nuclear weapons are not the most dangerous weapon that all the UNSC members have. They all have enough biological agents to kill everyone. Including the US.
  23. There's no accounting for taste. "
