  1. Force Mint to counteract it!
  2. That's the problem, right there! No fractions, please, we're innumerate.
  3. I thought Kitty was female ..?
  4. I liked the Meaning of Liff, but there ain't gunna be no sequel to that: Adams is dead as a Dalek.
  5.
  6. You win the dollar <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know you don't like to hear contrary thoughts, but I can't think of one sequel I would want to see / read. And that is a valid point of view, regardless of whether you want to hear it or not. But, don't take my word for it, listen to Robert Redford: ...Redford said it was surprising considering Hollywood's penchant for remakes that nothing had come to fruition since the mob and gambling film "The Sting" in 1973 and the 1969 hit "Butch Cassidy," about two bank robbers who flee to Bolivia. "The stuff that came to us wasn't any good," Redford said. "(They said) can you do a sequel to 'The Sting?' No, leave that one alone ... don't try to milk it." "What about a sequel to 'Butch Cassidy?' Well the guys died in it, what is it going to be, a spiritual film? Well how about a prequel? That's pretty desperate." ... Also, I believe you were paying out your award for anyone who said "sequels are crap", which I didn't. In fact, I can name three sequels that were better than the original films, right now: Die Hard 2, Spiderman 2, Empire Strikes Back. So keep your dollar for your own suppositorial use.
  7. Sounds like crap, to me. I do know that burglars who have been injured, in flagrant delicto, by the homeowner have successfully sued their "victims" for compensation in the UK.
  8. You might have a different opinion, if that decision is made by someone else, though ...
  9. These aren't K2. More likely NwN2.
  10. You have to post this in the KotOR 3 Suggestions thread. This will be closed and/or deleted by the mods. Do them a favour and delete it yourself, before they have to: edit the post, then select the Moderator options (bottom left) and "Delete" it.
  11. It is just a database error, when there are too many simultaneous requests for the server to handle, it bounces some out without knowing the exact state of the write transaction (whether it succeeded or not). In my experience, it has succeeded. The server just isn't sure. You can either post topics when the fora are less busy, send off a check to Obsidian to upgrade their server farm and forum software, or ignore it.
  12. How so? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What the wookie said, and read this.
  13. In other words, you have completed HK-47 after the second planet. So:
  14. You knew what? That he double posted, or that Volo doesn't play DnD?
  15. You just described the d20 rationale for hit points, but called it something else. All you really asked for, that's different, is better finishing moves.
  16. You'd want to be pretty certain that they couldn't recover. There's no reload button, after all.
  17. Perhaps the punitive award might have been donated to a charity of her choice, rather than given to her?
  18. That's called growing up. Although there's no accounting for taste.
  19. Well, one or probably both of you were in on it, so it is not really entirely your fault. It is not a nice thing for a sister to do to her sister, though.
  20. I didn't bother taking a prestige class last time I played, until I got to about level 31. (Seems there are better stats for the non-prestige classes ...)
  21. Well, the numbers are what the DM usually works out. They are nothing more than probability scores multiplied out into the game environment (chance to hit, chance to do critical damage, chance to resist an effect). Otherwise it would just be random, which would mean a Lagreik might kill your level 30 PC. "d20" refers to the twenty-sided dice. Don't get too worried about the weird shape of the die; just remember that it creates random numbers from one to twenty, inclusive. These are blocks of five-percentile statistical groups (since 100 divided by twenty equals five per centum). So if the PC needs a "fifteen to hit", that is fifteen multiplied by five, which equates to exactly 75%. See?
