  1. I actually liked Mind Trick/Force Confusion. I loved the way the Sith Marauder fought the Sith Lord in Malachor 5 and placed mental bets in my head as to who would win.
  2. So far the comics that are a little better than TotJ: Crimson Empire (OKish though) The original newspaper comic strips (my fav) As you can see I haven't read a lot of SW comics, but more to come.
  3. Without Vader Star Wars wouldn't exist.
  4. Nuke's argument rests solely on the assumption that there is a division in LFL between the continuity keepers and the non-continuity keepers-and that the non continuity keepers approved the K2 basilisk whereas the continuity keepers would have kept the beast. When Chris himself informed us that LFL approved it on first pass, why do you keep insisting that the continuity keepers would have changed it? The LFL that approved the magazine article is the same LFL that approved K2. There is no continuity in SW. Period. Even ToTJ can't follow its own continuity.
  5. DS Guardian, Marauder: +1-8 DMG DS Sentinel, Assassin: +3 DEX DS Consular, Sith Lord: +50 FP Note you can mix up the classes. For example, you can be a Sentinel/Sith Lord and have a +3 DEX bonus as well as 50 extra FP. You have the 50 FP, but the DEX shows up first.
  6. Nuke: the Basilisk War Droid is a piece of crap in ToTJ. You've probably seen how Qel-Droma destroys the thing even without his lightsaber, and that Basilisk was Mandalore's personal Basilisk. Seriously I'm glad Chris changed it. And not to mention it's destroyed by the drexl easily in the Invasion of Onderon in TOTJ.
  7. HK droid factory AKA cut from the game
  8. The fantastic Crush Opposition, the force power even a kinrath saves against.
  9. Feargus, please don't close these forums...I don't want to go back to Bioware!
  10. The best part was having "empty" containers when you took their content.
  11. Didn't Rivan serve as Dark Lord before Revan? If so, how did he meet Bane? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There is no Sith Lord named Rivan. It's probably the mistake of some guy who mistyped "Revan". And "Darth" was coined by Bane in one of those "Jedi vs. Sith" comics. I think in "Bane of the Sith".
  12. Link Weaponmaster: Pain Tolerance, Increased Melee Damage, Deflect, Greater Prestige Sense Marauder: Ignore Pain, Increased Combat Damage, Fury, Greater Prestige Sense Watchman: Force Camouflage, Sneak Attack, high saving throws, Greater Prestige Sense Assassin: Force Camouflage, higher levels of sneak attack, Greater Prestige Sense Jedi Master: Light Side Enlightenment, Inspire Others, Prestige Sense Sith Lord: Dark Side Corruption, Crush Opposition, Prestige Sense
  13. The Empire Srikes Back.
  14. Exactly. Why do Sadow and Kreesh duel with swords when the original dark Jedi used lightsabers (not protosabers, but lightsabers). 1 major inconsistency of ToTJ. Another inconsistency is when Odan Urr's companion Jedi (I forget his name) uses a lightsaber (no wire/powerpack) in Issue 0 of Golden Age of the Sith.
  15. That analogy was Ulicus theorizing...and I'll say this again: Midichlorians DON'T EXIST.
  16. Actually it means if you chose both DS and LS replies in a conversation, and you chose more DS than LS replies or vice versa, you triggered a net DS shift or a net LS shift. For example, I only chose 1 DS reply compared to 3 LS responses, I triggered a net LS shift.
  17. One of many unfinishable/bugged quests in the game
  18. It's a way to grow to Lv. 50: 1) Go to the Tomb of Ludo Kreesh in Korriban 2) Find the room where there is a dead Jedi lying between 4 pillars. 3) Keep pressing "A" or PC equivalent on the Jedi. Soon the room will fill up with Hssiss. 4) Take out the Hssiss, easiest with Force Storm and when you get weakened use Death Field. 5) Once all Hssiss are dead activate the dead Jedi again. 6) Rinse and repeat. And basically if you're DS then you don't lose your FP. If you're LS, you won't gain FP that easily in this tomb. You should do the hssiss glitch preferably if you are DS.
  19. Yeah. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Which one do you play the most? CS? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Halo 2. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't you get free xbox live with that game?
  20. Supposedly Dxun was supposed to be the next worst battle after Malachor V, turning into a kind of Vietnam for the Republic forces and the Jedi. Then came Serroco, Eres III, and some other worlds.
  21. Good finding, but the Mandalorians didn't attack Telos. It was destroyed by Karath in the Jedi Civil War.
  22. Yeah. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Which one do you play the most? CS?
  23. Sorry, this is incorrect. To get the thorium charges without killing Akkerre, you need to ask him to join the militia *before* you find his hydrospanner (I am not sure if the dialogue option shows up if you've already found it). Since you aren't holding his scam over his head, he'll offer to join the militia if you buy his thorium charges for 1000 credits. Considering how easy credits are to come by in this game, I tend to think it's worth it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry, it is correct. Sometimes he gives them to me if he joins the militia, sometimes he doesn't. But if you want a guarantee of charges just kill him.
