  1. so two out of the three things youre looking forward to most is something you could already do in kotor1? weird. i figured the story would be up there.
  2. its almost as if they actually prefer this "out" they have had. judging from their responses about their "hands being tied" in terms of patching and buggy games, it almost seems like they prefer it so that they have a built in excuse when fans complain. "its not our fault. we want to patch the game. but its our publishers call". considering they have 3 titles under their belt now, you would hope that if, in fact, this isnt what they want as a security blanket, then theyre established enough to negotiate in the contract to be able to do their own internal QA and patch releases when they see fit. if their next game is just like toee and vtmb, then i think thats a pretty good indication theyd rather do a sloppy job on their games and then hide behind the fact its "not their choice" on whether a patch is made or not. or maybe im just cynical towards their product after getting burned twice.
  3. if people insist on doing polls, i wish theyd give more options than just a "black or white" response. i wasnt particularly enamored by the ending, but at the same time i dont think it "sucked". wheres the option in the poll for the middle ground choice? as it is, even if i vote for "no" since i didnt think it sucked, then that might give off the impression that i loved the ending. can you tell i hate polls?
  4. like other people have commented, id have to say it wins by default since there really wasnt any real competition for it. the game itself was good, but the technical issues turned what could have been a masterpiece into just a fairly entertaining game.
  5. i always thought they were just to signify that a developer had posted in that thread. the things i learn each day.
  6. yeah my mistake. i didnt see the link for part 2 and 3 of the article, so i thought those listed on page 1 were it, hence my "is that all?" comment. :">
  7. it would have been atleast nice if they removed that dialogue tree. atleast we wouldnt be left wondering why we cant complete the quest.
  8. are these really the only rpgs scheduled for a 2005 release? i could have sworn there were more than that. thats rather depressing.
  9. they didnt. all that happened was the blues signed stevens as a restricted free agent and had to give up 5 first round draft picks to the caps as compensation. then they did it again with shanahan, but this time stevens went to the devils as compensation (i think shanahan was a different level free agency).
  10. yeah either i missed something in a dialogue or future cutscene, or that cutscene didnt make sense. it goes straight from a cutscene where go-to destroys the remote, to then all of a sudden the remote being fixed and no further mention or after effect happening (ie. bao-dur never is seen fixing the remote or questioning go-to).
  11. problem is, they also speculated (dont know if they ever really confirmed or denied it) that they were thinking of making it so that you could use your npc party members' skills for the workbench and labstation for much of the same reason. to make better use out of those party members with tech skills. i guess we ended up, by design or by accident, with some sort of hybrid system. :D
  12. i thought it was. as embarrassing as it may be to admit, i actually died a few times in kotor1, including my first encounter with malak. the closest i came to dying was against , and even then it was just a medpac useage and i was good to go. other than that, i never died or even came close to dying.
  13. i hope this game turns out to be good. afterall, the more good games there are out there, the better for me (the gamer).
  14. this is a bit distressing. it begs the question of who is still working on kotor2's pc version?
  15. actually more than anything, what should be stickied is how to delete your own topics that way people can delete their own topics when they make 4 or 5 identical ones. the most common statement when someone asks them to delete it is "how? i dont think i can".
  16. actually, all that was said was , and he thought i was wrong and stated that . so really, it wasnt much of an argument.
  17. i thought it was a vampire game.
  18. that annoyed me to no end. especially when i was still trying to learn their backstory and each character had about 4 dialogue options available that each split into 3 or 4 more dialogue options. i was hoping that after a dialogue tree was exhausted, it disappeared. that way when something new was opened up, you could see it. if you still had nothing new to learn, then just one line of a generic "nothing right now."
  19. i bet youve been saying that for the last couple of years. :D
  20. is bloodrayne any good?
  21. i believe hes a forum bot that appears anytime someone enters the keyword "jefferson". " "hes more machine now, twisted and evil."
  22. this was explained in either the bastila holocron on korriban or t3's playback on the ebon hawk. revan didnt want to bring anyone he "cared" about to where he was going because it could be exploited as a weakness in him. he didnt want to have that kind of "weakness" when he faced whoever it is he was going to face.
  23. mira. i loved her rocket launchers....and that thing she has on her wrist.
  24. that just happened to be coincidence. thats the only incident where looting someones appartment will bring their wrath. (that i can recall).
  25. i do get it. which is why i said in the other thread that i wouldnt be moaning and crying if the pc version fixed this. all im telling you is my reasons for why the "bug" is a neat feature for me in my games, because youre making it sound like EVERY person who likes it only likes it because of munchkin reasons or to gain loads and loads of new items, when in fact in my case thats not the motives at all.
